I respect both you girls decision to mouna vrat, and thankfully its timed at that moment in time when Geet is to trail Maan and speak her heart out. First the tears, then her mouth partly open to seduce Maan and finally her heart pouring out, and the warm soft carefully thought hug to ease Geet of all her pain. This has been the scene for countless Mus and small fights 'tween them and this warms my heart to never-ending pleasure.
Dev has always been the wedge between Maan and Geet. There has always been an implied authority Dev held in Geet's life while the baby was alive, an unconscious understanding of the seed he laid in Geet, to all our disgust and intolerance of this Dev, he kept dragging himself back to her, yet with the baby gone, he has come to stand as a wedge rather unconsciously again, but very real to create that perfect confusion and frustration in M&G's life. We so oppose this man Dev, but the truth is Dev is a reality in M&G's life. So through all the game of love/hate, anger/cool attitude, victory/failure, laughter/tears, rough/tough attitude/gentleness, strength/meekness all displayed through various emotions by Maan and Geet, Dev creates the best in Maan and Geet.
Its the Devils presence that makes life of the angels and Gods presence a living reality. If not for the Devil, where would we magnetically hold on to God. So when Dev sneaks in to the hot seat, the fans are there to give full support to Maan and Geet and make the M&G life more refreshing, flavor filled and indeed victorious. So the CVs do just that ' they become the devil's advocate and allow us to intercede with a battle cry.
Maan and Geet is a fairytale of eternal excellence. If the CVs are to honor their truth in their script, then their words to one another on that starry, moonlit evening, at the camp, dressed in the color of purity and satya, will go a long way to affirming a commitment till death do they part or in reel language till the serial ends. So the hide and seek game, quite and loud game, peace and fight game all are the cinnamon, elaichi and lavang flavoring their MU's and disenchantments of one another.
A few thoughts and I know darling Munni and Dhak dhak Shivu will tell me we know all this, still we plan to mourn till Geet speaks her justification of what she has done to Maan. So I raise a toast to both of you.

And now I am floating in Maaneet LaLaLand .. this man is seriously going to murder me with his intensity .. how Geet isn't as affected is beyond me .. she has some controlll even if it is her imagination here .. he is just as affective!
Geet runs and falls on her knees (symbolic here?) .. I was thinking with this fall .. falls her "stubborness" that her silence has been classified as by Maan .. I never felt it was stubborness .. but if she herself says she was then I'll believe it .. but considering Maan felt that .. here her fall signifies to me that she has let her guard down .. she has broken the wall that she had built up from letting her heart speak for her .. she will now read - rather listen - to what her Maan has to say for himself.
Loved the way he places his cheek against her and starts the letter off by clarifying this isn't an apology letter because that is the last thing he wants to do right now .. she knows he is sorry for those harsh words .. what he wants her to know now .. is that he is irrevocably in love with her and how! (Barry -- WONDERFUL job here! He even used an Urdu word :P -- Wujood) ..
He states to Geet the importance she holds in his life and is going to explain to her in further detailing on Monday along with his infamous Moon talks .. to which we now add Flowers ..
Btw .. aww Pigeons are back .. I love the atmosphere they've always created .. whenever there is an epic moment going on between them .. the pigeons fly over to the two lovebirds to enhance the moment .. loving it!

Love the way you feel totally bared when you see this "high intensity" Maan.
Love your symbolism. To add, the Lotus lives in mucky water and blooms in slush; similarly her ziddh has become the slush and her inner intelligent self has blossomed to hear and speak up even if its her inner insecurity, her pain at Maan doubting her dignified khandani breeding and lineage.
I agree with you that it could be anything else other than ziddh, but honestly if it was not ziddh then a minor depth at being tongue tied and introverted because she can't face crisis situations. She's at a loss of words when confronted with conflicting situations. She must be wondering that Maan spoke her to be very weak blooded and not an equal to himself when all the while he kept saying the contrary to assure her of her worth to him. If that holds truth, then why would he come for her unless it was for an ulterior motive, right. And on several occasions she shows that she is fed up of his following her, of his ziddh to take her back with him, his persistence to say sorry etc.
Flowers are a perfect description of Geet; colorful, fragrant, wild. Easy to be plucked because of her innate gentleness but because of Maan "there's no entry to this beautiful flower". I would also love to see her in white, Maan's favorite color and Drishti Dhami's favorite too.

I feel on cloud-cuckoo land when I read "Naughty naughty naughty raat aayi.." I truly hope that this naughtiness will lead to naughty actions between Maan and Geet.
I also feel that entire letter reading scenario is a dream sequence, and Geet has yet to run the race to trail Maan'. And finally reach his large warm arms and say she can't live without him.
I am enjoying Dev as the devil wearing Armani, and hopefully as Maan SK, he will get beaten up somewhere along the line by the Maasi Khandan and that is where I would like him to accept it honorably and with utmost humility. This is where he would prove his change to his bro. And of course the chori chori romance in stolen moments would be utterly butterly delicious.
