Happy anniversary Opti.....I've been reading your work since the Kayamath days!

Please dont take tips from Geet about married life coz there is no communication between them, which is very important between spouses. The wife becomes so obstinate that no matter what her hubby does to prove to her that he is sorry for his harsh words, that she is ready to forgive any other crime...fake marriage, being dumped at the airport, etc etc...but not words spoken in anger. She is allowed to say anything to him in her anger and pain but not vice versa.

Hi Opti,

Congratulations on completeing more than a decade and half of married life 😃 Wish you a very happy anniversary😃

Loved your post...its great to see how over the years certain soft emotions have remained constant between the two of you...our lives are more interesting than any story that can ever be written..

The day to day jealousies over the male soap characters are present in my life too - though i have been married only three years now - my husband gets totally green whenever I watch GHSP/ drool over Maan...i get the same complaints of not paying him enough attention - sometimes playfully and sometimes seriously. My husband has even threatened blocking IF when I am not around 😆

But all of these dont deter us fans from the enormous entertainment that we receive from GHSP.. As you have so rightly said, all of these small jealousies, chher-chhars, hide-n-seeks increase the romance value in a marriage. And I bet the characters in the soap dont even know what havoc they play in our lives😆 On this occasion I want to tell you that you with your fics have also been a major driver of happiness in many of our lives😳

Jokes apart, I wish you may more sweet milestones in your life ahead. One thing I wish for myself is to have the same sweet emotions that you have portrayed in your life even when I reach my 16th year of marriage and more...

Wow Opti what a superb post......guess what...i too have felt a great difference in my married life after joining IF...particularly after becoming a die-hard Maneet fan....and just like u as i spend most of my free time visiting the forum i too let my hubby watch his ever-so-silly sports and news channels.....where first i used to grumble about it i now tell him to put them on and run off to my lappy so that i can do what i love best....get onto IF and directly to GF......also like you this jodi has made me into a die-hard romantic which has had great effects on my married life...but in on thing i am ahead of u by a year...i have completed 17 wondrous years of married life..... no doubt with many ups and downs...but nevertheless wonderful....I know we can't expect a flawless marriage but love and marriage are like a vintage wine...get better with the passage of time....here's wishing u all the best on ur great day...and may u celebrate many many more such days......and also may u keep writing ur beautiful posts for us on this forum....

Congratulations on your sweet 16 years of togetherness, Opti!

I liked the IF influence and mellowed down approach of yours! I'm also in the same boat 😉.. my hubby gets surprised by the romantic streaks in me which I think is because of the VMs and the beautiful romantic write-ups in this forum although he is still not aware of my Geet serial madness!😆 Actually I am not a serial person, the only other serial which I had liked was Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and had become an IF member.
