A month separation brought them close again...during which the other one realized the importance of lost things

I mentioned psychology and my association only cause you talked about human psychology.
Now the real life incident you mentioned I am sure its not a married couple you are talking about but friends the equation is not same. Geet and Maan are married to each other they are not girlfriend-boyfriend or just friends. This makes a lot lot difference

Space that depends on what you count as space & time to some its few minutes enough & to some years mean less. You think its mistake he is doing but not me again it varies to person to person.
Grief when let on its own makes home in a persons mind so its essential & doctors too prescribe that a patient who is stoned in grief be made haste to come out of it. I hold masters in psychology & its my profession since last 5 years.

I agree, Rati, yes, grief needs space and time, but there is only so much space and time that grief should be allowed to have. By the way, Maan too is grief stricken, so he is right in trying to get her out of it.
Geet's refusal to look beyind her hurt beginning to look like self centeredness and worse still petulance and pique rather than grief.
Wish the Cvs had not made him bend so backward in getting her back that it hurts us to watch him to do it.
At the risk of sounding like a parrot- I wish the Cvs would give some credence and respect to the understanding and intelligence that the audience brings to the show!
I should have guessed you're a psychologist when I read your post! I'm a linguist, my main research being psycholinguistics and language processing,

I am with you...I am not a psychologist, but u r right....sometimes distance does work...but we have seen...over and over again with Maan and Geet...the more they don't talk it out, the more they stay away, their misunderstandings seem to get bigger and bigger....their biggest problems occur because they don't communicate...I feel....that if Maan stays away now...then the misunderstanding will only get worst....I think Maan coming there is needed for Geet to realize....how much she misses and loves Maan....and how much he regrets what he did and how much he loves her....
Plus...agar Maan yahan nahi aata to humein aaj jaise itne hot hot...pyare pyare scenes dekhne ko kaise milte??? Hum to Dev ko dekh dekh ke hi pagal ho jaate😆😆😆
