Yes and rightfully so.. Maan is 8 years older than her. He has that many years of wisdom and responsibility on him. Plus he has seen more of the world - in the sense he has been mo

re exposed, dealt with more situations, business wise etc. Dealt with difficult people, lead and guided people as a leader of KC. So yeah, in his small life, he has learned a lot. He is a wise wise man with his share of weaknesses. He too has dwelled on the past because he let sameera mishap turn him a hater towards womankind... but he has grown past that.

In fact he not only lives in present he has door drishti... He thinks far ahead... and plans accordingly... that too I believe comes from his background of handing KC. that's what executives have an innate ability to do, that's why they succeed.

Geet is young, naive and hasn't really seen the world. First she was cozied and sheltered in her parents supressed home. As soon as she came to delhi she felt cozied and pampered by Maan. Whether she realized or not, he was her protective shield. She kept verbally saying I have to fight the world and live on my own, but she never actually had to face any such situation on her own because her shield was there to protect her... Even now, before she can learn any hard lessons of life, another family is there to shelter, pamper and protect her. So she has nothing better to think about in her mind. she doesn't need to struggle... so her empty mind has nothing to ponder upon except self pity! Unfortunately!!

Hey Dh. Maan had his work and his tai-chi to keep him out of reveling in his past. These two are grief busters and like always he dwelt in these. So the past did not enslave him but characterized a new Maan, an aggressive Maan who fortunately we all drool over. Not the soft toy!!😆

In Geets case, she is the melodrama queen. I cant see a moment where she has not revelled in her past with great depth that I feel afraid that she would commit mistakes that keep her stubbornly away from love, injurious to her own being and pig-headed!!😆 She does not mend quickly.

Well we don't really know what happened with his past so we cannot comment but we know Maan has been brought up by daadi.. he is a man of character. He is a strong personality by nature and above all he is an introvert... He couldn't get over whatever that incident was so he bottled himself in. But he made it his strength instead of his weakness. He used it to be more powerful but didn't deter his virtues. He didn't turn into a villain. He has it in him to look far far ahead and he made the best use of his two stress relieves you rightly mentioned.

Haha yes Geet is immature and stubborn. Deadly combination. Too many time she has learned from maan and too many times she has made big mistakes when she hasn't listened to him. Anyway. hope she is shown to mature with time!
