yes...character consistency is totally there...the biggest blunder was allowing dev to touch geet and even barry dhillon did not want that....
i loved reading ur post though i hv completely different POV....
the scenes that u posted here r before they knew that dev is maan's bro....
at that time the perpetrator was a stranger to maan and geet told maan that she wants to close that chapter so that they can move on....clearly her notion was that dev wud never interfere in their life...
but now the scenario is not same...dev is maan's bro and they know that....
try as hard as they can....they can never close the past completely with dev's presence in their life...
tell me guys...think practically...how wud maan feel to see geet smiling, talking and behaving normally with a person who once saw her undressed....
guys...wen i take it upon myself...i can never bear to see my hubby in gud terms with his ex....
it is not about trust....maan trusts geet explicitly....but some things can never be forgotten...
geet is the victim...even if she can forget wat dev did to her....but for maan it will always be a thorn in his memory...
again i repeat if dev wud hv been a stranger...maan wud hv no issues because then geet wud not hv to interact with him on day to day basis....
and also....forgiving dev will bring peace in maan's life....how can geet say that....did she discuss this with him...just because maan has accepted her past, gave his name to her baby....doesnt mean he doesnt feel disturbed to see dev around geet....
in yoga clinic...wen dev arrived...maan's uneasiness was apparent....wen the nurse asked who the father is....it took sometime for maan to fight the awkwardness of dev's presence and after a few seconds he signed the form....
this awkwardness, anger, frustration on seeing dev with geet will never go from maan's mind....even if geet forgives and forgets....today, to manaofy geet....maan may forgive dev but whether he will forget and accept dev wholeheartedly remains to be seen...
this is a fiction and the makers may show that one day maan-geet-dev r living happily with no amount of stress between them and as viewers we will be forced to accept that scenario....
but...personally i feel.. even if maan wud forgive dev for the sake of his beloved wife....but he can never forget that dev once shared bed with her....
maan is a possessive lover who cant even bear a tailor touching his wife....such man maintaining normal relation with dev is hard for me to digest....
and if he does then that will be a huge sacrifice from his part for geet....
and the abusive words than maan said....i totally agree maan was always like this....once in HP he said that geet wants to spend a night with him to force him to marry her....that time geet almost slapped him but still wen time came to move gurvinder away...geet showed her trust on maan....
somehow even wen they were strangers geet cud feel the actual maan behind the harsh words...she cud feel even then that the words were not from his heart....
again in outhouse maan said almost the same thing and this time he accused her of wanting his money....but ironically that was the moment wen geet realised her feelings for maan....y so...any girl with minimum self respect wud walked away from maan's life forever,,,,but geet did not because again she cud see how fake the words were....
this is wat i mean....geet cud always understand maan at a time wen they were not formally related...and now she is his wife....but she is taking maan's words at face value....
i thot being a wife now she wud understand better....
i admit that maan's apology was justified....no matter wat...he cannot insult his wife like that and that too in front of a 3rd person like dev....
but, again personally i feel more than the words....maan's fault was that he said those words in front of dev and for that he has already apologised....
but wat about geet....maan loves her after all....so, obviously maan doesnt feel pleasure in abusing geet and if he does then there must be a strong reason behind that....geet must introspect and understand where she has been wrong and climb down from her ego trip and apologise to maan....
after the radio scene...i was expecting geet to call maan....even a missed call wud hv made maan feel that geet is relenting....wat does it matter that geet is hugging his photo...how can maan know that....
all i am saying is that i hv no grudge that maan had to apologise....all i want to say that maan deserves an apology from geet too....and the CVs must show geet saying sorry....
