After long time me and Shivani are back with our Character Analyzation.
From last week, we all have been arguing about maaneet, who was wrong , who was right; vice versa, and even now everyone is arguing about the same matter. Ever since Geet has forgiven Dev, there has been halla bol throughout the forums, even we the (topic makers) had done a whole bunch of halla bolling.
The worst thing then had happened, Geet allowed the man that ruined her life to touch her, which created more ruckus amongst members on our forums. Debates from all over took place; once again it became DD fans vs. GC fans, but mind you this post has been made by staunch Maaneet supporters so please let us state our points then yell and scream; although, we hope that after this post many will calm down and think rationally.
After the whole Geet allowing Dev to touch her, everyone prononced Geet as dead, or butchered; however, Shivani and I were watching some old scenes of Maaneet and saw light on the characters of BOTH MAANEET.
Yes, we know that dev touching geet was a last minute destruction done by the channel of starone, but lets not discuss that, the point of this topic is to show that Maaneet's characters are still VERY much intact.
Now you all must be thinking, have these girls gone bonkers?? What characters being intact, yes we all were in the same boat yesterday, but after this old scene we watched we got out of the boat and are here to share what we saw.
First off, lets start with the scene that we have mentioned many times watch it and see if you notice anything, perhaps you might catch on and might not need to read further; oyeeee, that doesn't mean stop reading this beautiful post we made please read it further even after watching the video:

Geet couldn't stand to see Maan tortured and to see him burn in anger for the man that ruined her life. Even this time she had said that she didn't want to live her past anymore. She noticed that her Maan was more angrier then she was. At that particular time she saw him burning for her, pining for her tortures! She couldn't handle to see him in this state because of her.
Yes, we know that after she leaves from this scene she says to herself that this battle is hers and so she didn't tell maan that she wanted justice; however the main point is that Geet always wanted maan's happiness. This shows in her consistency even now, that FOR MAAN....and for herself she wanted to forget Dev. The only way to have this possible is by forgiving Dev and close his chapter.
She realized that sitting and burning herself in the past has gotten her no where! She realizes that her past is burning her and Maan together and to rid this fire is to by extingushing it ASAP so that both can move and walk together happily in life.
The same issue occured even recently! Geet wanted to move on and forget the wounds of her past, whereas Maan continued to burn in Geet's past because he had NO idea that she wanted to move on!!!! Last time she extinguished that fire that was burning inside of Maan by telling him that she wants to move on, this time he had no idea.
So, this makes way for the horrible fight to occur and for Maan to say harsh words to Geet. Even now Maan's character has been maintained! He continued to fight for Geet's battle, whereas Geet had already felt she has won the biggest battle in her life by achieveing an amazing husband in her life! What else would a woman simple like Geet want?
So tell us, where has the character been butchered?
From what angle has Maaneet been destroyed?
They both reacted rationally!!! Both reacted just like how Maan and Geet are supposed to REACT!!!
Now going back to the what else a woman like Geet would want; when Maan said those harsh words to Geet it was equivalent to losing her battle once again, it stopped her from moving towards her future....
It hurt Geet, to see that Maan had lost himself in the fire of her past and he wasn't seeing anything else ahead!
Now, do not get us wrong Maan was absolutely right in his point of view because he had no idea that Geet was wanting to start a fresh life with him! He was in such a rage of anger and accusations for Dev he didn't realize that he was going to say something that would take away his Geet from him.
But then again, Maan never realizes what he says in anger isn't that character consistency?
Also we are hearing that Maan apologising to Geet is not in his character! Uh, hello, did we forget the first time Maan apologised to Geet in the office? Those were the first signs of him falling for her.
Maan always did everything for Geet; yaad karo that line that I wrote from the scene posted above "tumhare liye Geet haan".....to phir socho, this man loves Geet so much he was willing to find the man that ruined her life even if he were in hell, you think that he won't go crazy looking for her?
Maan WILL do anything and everything for Geet, and Geet WILL do anything and everything for Maan!
He hated his brother for Geet, and Geet is willing to move on in her life for herself and for Maan!
So is anyone being selfish here?? Anyone? THE MSK who is a very private person, quiet, egoistic announced in a radio with his full name and apologised to his wife. So where is that ego that everyone kept saying Maan has? I see NO EGO OF MAAN SINGH KHURANA TODAY!
Also, who says that Geet didn't melt when Maan had apologised to her on the radio?
She did, but like any other girl she wants Maan to come and get her and so he will!!!
wohooooooooooooooooooooo chalo chalo chalooooooooooooo Maan go get your Geet! Come on come on!!!!!
