Attempt: To bring in the pain of separation, the angst as well as the anxiety in order to see the meeting of two hearts once more ...
the place, the time and the situation just become incidental when two hearts are to meet ...
Set up: two different locations, with two different scenarios ... with the same two people ...
effort: milkey bhi hum na miley tumse najane kyun ... meelo ke hai faasle tumse najaane kyun ...
As i think of todays episode there are a few things that came to my notice:
Geet and Maan: they have become two hearts and one soul to such an extent, they can now sense the air around one another .. they know wherever they go .. they will never be able to go away from one another ...
The world is a small place, you think you could get lost in a crowd, but you end up meeting the same people wherever you go ! and that goes to also show the world is round...! what are the chances that of all the people Geet has to bump into a person, she doesnt actually recognise, but she recognises her and she becomes the messenger of Babaji for Geet ..very smartly handled .. but so true to life .. !!
I was a little disappointed Maan returned home without trying( atleast as much as i thought he would), i understand dadi ma was crying !
For me this phase marked the best time for Maan to turn into the HP waala Maan once more .. remember how even back then he was looking for someone, he could have been doing the same here as well, back to the jungles, back to his tent camps .. but with his grit and determination intact .. imagine, dadi ma all worried and hassled,the entire family unable to communicate .. he goes back to being that MSK no one wants to mess around with ... only he knows whats playing on his mind and till the time he gets what he wants, he is not the kind that would rest ...

The Lakshya obviously being Geet ...
Once again, showing the presence of Babaji was symbolic of the fact that, though he in a non-believer in god, (he doesnt respond to dadi asking him if he believes in him) .. shows he believes everything that Geet believes in .. he knows if her she had so much faith in her Babaji, there had to be something to the divine power! And for keeping up that faith, he gets his answers as well .. though she is not around him in person, she is in spirit ...
That brief second where they are about to meet but miss each other, shows this time the meeting is not going to be that easy .. she might be one step away from you, but you will not get her that easy .. you will have to make your efforts ..
I would have loved for them to uses flashes of Geet remembering her first trip to Amritsar with Maan himself, how she had asked him to drive her down, how on the way she had tried to talk to him, how she had tried to escape, how he had tried to save her, how he had been rude.. and now she looks back at those memories and only smiles to herself .. and also gets nostalgic ... !!
Maan on his way has the same flashes ... he looks at it with a different perspective, he thinks of how even back then destiny was trying to tell them something, and how they met again and again after that though they didnt want to .. whether it was in her fields, whether it was him jumping into her store room, or him pining her against a tree .. he wants to find her at any cost ...
When they use the flashes at this point of time, i somehow feel a disconnect when they use the ones after their marriage... i feel more connected to the ones that they showed with the kurbaan hua ... they should perhaps use that phase to depict the angst in their story at this moment, of how she tried to resist him, how he tried to run away from his feelings .. they are in a way back to square one .. but the depiction of the same is lacking at some level ..
they can bring in more of those elements at this moment, esp since they are far away ..
Adding the chand as their only companion and confidante through him they both see and remember one another was a brilliant addition .. only had the chand sequence when he gave her the ring and told her they were to be one ... and had carried her, been used it would have been beautiful... Maaneet have had a breezy life post their wedding! the sequences picked from there actually evoke no emotion ...!! creatives/channel did out the old sequences and paste them... you will pull people like magnets .. cos those are so to speak the "golden" episodes of Geet.. come on guys ... so much for the old charm, cash in on it na ..😛😉
Another observation i made today was, Dev is slowly but steadily making a mark and a place for himself and gaining a foothold over the Khurana household ..
He knows Maan is away .. He has hence taken emotional charge of the family .. he has also become Arjun and Anweshas confidante ...dadi anyway has a soft corner for him .. actually speaking, now is the time when his intentions can turn haywire .. not in a an evil I am the baddie way, but with so much in his control, he may not know how to control all, he ends up making another major blunder that messes everything he has done so far ! But then ofcourse he hides it from the family since he wants to stay in their good books ..
looks like i am seeing more than wad i should be seeing ... so for now, i leave, with one song from geet to maan...
