Ninand, really good post.. I agree with each and every word you have written.. but then many ppl here are not going agree. There are ppl who just think God Maan can not do anything wrong.. And Devil Dev has no right to become human.. And Geet, oh yes, she has done a crime by forgiving Dev.. I mean if you can not do a divine act, dont bash someone who did that.

Some of them even think Priyanka Gandhi was not right in forgiving her father's killer and bashed her for that too.. I mean one who had gone thru real pain, these ppl understand that pain even more than the actual person and are guiding that they should have not forgiven the wrong doers even if they were repenting. The person with actual experience would have known what they were doing..

And regarding your other post, I clearly understood it was a sarcastic post, but see, they most others did not.. not sure why..

its really sad.. that an act as divine, as difficult , as forgiveness , is so barely understood and accepted by people.😕... I cannot even begin to imagine what Priyanka must have gone through before she forgave her father's murderer.

What courage , and what strength of character.

People do not understand that a criminal can be sent behind bars and then forgiven too. FOrgiveness is an act that says one will not carry the bitterness forward, that for them , they have somehow reconciled with their grief.

It does not in any way pardon the criminal act itself.

Actually, after Priyanka forgave her, that lady filed a plea and was pardoned for rest of her punishment...

great post dear...the best post i have seen today...i dont get y Geet Forum member freak out so much....i know we all love Maneet but we should also let CVs do their job ...i actually have been really glued to the show since yersterday....and this way the show will also come back so its # 1 spot with TRPs....specially when we see the intense and passionate MSk with Geet....😉

me too me too... the kitchen scene, and then Dev confronting Maan... masterfully done! I cant get enuff of those scenes... great actors, great direction, and very subtle yet clever dialogues..

Nice post. T think if someone is guilty for his doings then he should give one chance to prove himself. How can you say that Maan is always right & Dev is always wrong. Due to circumstances & in the influence of NT he did this crime but by heart he is not bad afterall he has Khuranas blood. Yestday episode was good & superb conversation between Maan & Dev.

Good post.

Though I admit it felt a little weird hearing Dev telling Maan off for his behaviour....I think only Dev was the right person to say it.......not Dadi or anyone else.....only because Dev was present at every occasion .......only Dev could have told Maan why Geet forgave him.

The contents of his speech had a lot of home truths like Maan had no right to insult his love etc....and Maan did need to be jolted out of his anger.....he didn't look adequately agitated when he realised that Geet had left, btw.......and Dev was the person to do it as no one else had the guts..Besides,..Dev had nothing to lose.

I agree with you that everyone should be given a chance to repent and Dev is well on his way there...and Maan should allow it and believe that his once beloved brother can.

But, I can't help wondering about Dev's need to repent......he did begin to feel bad about Geet even before he knew about her and Maan....he always wanted maan to be happy. But, he didn't pursue it diligently till he realised that maan and Geet were in love and were to marry.

My point is, would he have come so far in his repentance had Geet not been Maan's life/wife?

I feel he would have continued the way he was, living under NT's thumb and forgotten all about Geet in due course.
