the MU that was engraved in Maan's head could only be cleared by the person regarding whom the MU was!
Geet: she did the apt thing. she went for her self-respect. If the man she's married to doesn't respect her... who else will... we all know it was the heat of the moment... but before this whenever he has uttered nasty words... it was just the two of them... no third person involved but it wasn't the same now.
Maan: he's human. its ok if makes mistakes too... he's impulsive and explosive! so if he assumes things and makes mistakes there has to be someone who can point out the same to him... and that doesn't make him a negative character... he's no villian! infact not many men have the ability to swallow their egoes and accept and acknowledge their mistakes and go behind the woman they love... but the Maan Singh Khurana, when realizes his mistake he never lets his ego stand in the way... he rectifies his mistakes and by going after Geet he's doing so. yes he uttered horrible words but thats so like him... completely in character!
Dev: the worst punishment is the biting of the conscience... his conscience is never going to free him from what he has done... but as u said he's repentant! he's trying to sort out things between Maan and Geet... and he knew well tht no one wud be able to hammer the words to Maan... he just won't listen... i'm not saying tht he can be forgiven but if he's right... then he's right! call a spade a spade! there's no written law that once a sinner always a sinner! tht he can never do anything right...

exactly ... I mean how do you even get to the idea that cuz Dev lectured Maan, Maan is now the villain and DEv the savior....
theres absolutely no rationale to it!
And the CVs went out of their way to have Maan say that Dev doesnt have the right to say anything given his past, and have Dev accept his truth... Dev is under no illusion that lifes all good now... even when hes with Daadi, hes guilt ridden and only thinking of Maan geet...

yet people want him to go die ... really!

Can you see Maan singh Khurana nicely sitting down and listening to someone when that someone is trying to tell him hes wrong!
Babes.. when Geet cant get him to listen to her... no one can ...

but challenge him, taunt him, and boy does he listen! he needs to shocked out his system for him to take notice... be it come out of his shell or simply to listen...

why dont you go back and actually try to listen to what Dev says in whole... this show couldnt get any better..

can't agree more... i can't imagine Dev telling Maan that bro i need to talk to you and Maan saying why not sure... lets catch up!
the guy needs to be jolted to reality to get him to listen... he would have never listened to what Dev had to say lest he had not questioned the height of his love for Geet! even when Geet wanted to tell him the whole story abt her pregnancy... boss she had to corner him... get him locked and then plead for a chance to listen! he has been like tht!

have not seen today's episode neither have i read the written update.....but Ninand I agree whole-heartedly with what u have written......that a person who wants to change should be given at least one chance....also about Maan's nature...that he will never to reason if u explain things to him, but only if he is jolted into realising his mistake will he understand that he has done something wrong....I am sure that when I will see the episode i too willo like it and appreciate the Cvs today......

as for those who are screaming about Geet playing Holi with Dev and others...firstly she only put a tika on dev as a sis-in-law would to her husband's brother.....and for playing Holi with others .... what could she do if her hubby suddenly becomes a Kumbhkaran and not on;ly that is avoiding her like the plague....and also she wanted all , particularly Dadi to believe that she had let bygones be bygones and had decided to start life afresh with Maan.......but I can see that some are again criticising the Cvs...when will they stop all this no idea.....

Ur post was really much needed here...thanx a lot

Exactly my POV....things are not Black and White.....
Why does one person have to be the villain? And what is wrong if the characters are shown as human and capable of making mistakes? That is life.
The problem is not really Dev....its that fact that Geet and Maan are still trying to move on from their past...and the path is not easy!

But I don't think he said to taunt Maan....but to jerk him to reality.....
.....Maan would never listen to Dev unless certain strings are pulled............
Maan was in a daze because he was so angry (rightfully so!) and he wouldn't really hear anything from anyone else at that point.

I agree...Dev didn't do anything wrong today....he was just trying to get Maan to realize what he was misunderstanding....I still do believe....that Maan ne kabhi bhi Geet ko nazar andaaz nahin kiya tha....like Dev said....Maan has done whatever he has just for Geet....but what he did say to her was wrong...even if it was out of anger....and not knowing what he said until later....
But, Dev...was not wrong....he did make Maan listen to him and cleared the misunderstanding that was going on in Maan's head....

i agree with you ppl. i have been saying this only. wht is wrong in repentent man being forgiven. There is no black or white, but shades of grey. The way ppl talk of Dev that what he has done his beyond redemption is so silly. they are also making Maan as Maangod. Maan is shown as a human saying extreme words in anger. i am so surprised that majority of viewers are girls but they were not offended on behalf of geet for that blood comment. manhy were angry only at geet, for holi scene. ninand's explanation was so good that it was v. convincing. the cvs are smarter than all ppl and they brought in drama elt back n d serial.

"I dont understand the moral compass of people here...If you tag a person bad for one crime, and then no matter what he does to undo it, hes going to bear that tag,, then whats the point in being good,.. in asking for forgiveness, in accepting ones fault...

Dev/ Maan scene today was stupendous... Dev was fabulous... He understands hes a criminal and will always be, even if Geet has forgiven him , hes neva goina be able to forgive himself... but that doesnt , mean he should stand to the side and let Maan ruin his own life!"

I agree with your point of view!! 👍🏼

The Maan & Dev scene was riveting to watch!! It was intense! 😍

Yep,
labelling a person is quite limiting!

What Dev did to Geet was cruel but I think it's better to see a remorseful Dev rather than a cold hearted Dev!
👍🏼

Things are finally getting interesting......... we should wait to see how the story unfolds before judging and getting angry!

I hope we get some SIZZLING Maaneet ROMANCE & PASSION scenes soon!! 😍

I know.. this is something thats really surprising. more than often female viewers side with the high handed ways of the male protagonist.. not only here.. in some other shows too, I have seen... the heroes always got the sympathy while the heroines were not as well understood.
