Hi all…We are back to poetic Saturdays…Yup but I am like
pretty confused what I am gonna type so u will have to bear with me, and tday
its gonan be in hindi…if u don't get it let me know I will post a simple update
in English…

Ok so abt todays epi..it was just fantastic…I personally
would want each of u to watch it..but here is the update.

GEET LEAVES MAAN BEREAVED

Geet chali apni ghar chod doosre aangan,

Par kya who bhar payegi who zakham,

Wahi jo Maan ne use diye hain,

Wahi jo ek saugat mein baant diye hain,

Dadi roke par geet to chal padi hai,

Har rah pe ab akeli hi khadi hai,

Poora parivaar use manaye aur samjhaye,

Par geet ke kismet mein toh likha hai hona sabse paraye,

Har yaad ko apne apne aanchal mein sanjoye,

Har zakham ko apni aankhon mein bahaye,

Chal padi who ek anjaani rah par,

Jahaan ho na koi humsafar,

Kismet ka khel he toh hai uski zindagi,

Kisi ke hokar be kisi kin a ho saki..

DADI FRANTIC AND DEV
SEMANTIC

Dadi ki halat ho rahi ha kharab,

Unhe chahiye apni beti ghar mein janaab,

Aankhon ke aansoon na tham rahe hai,

Umar bhar jiska intezaar kiya tha,

Ek beti ne ghar abaad kiya tha,

Uske gam mein daadi hai bechain,

Sab ke chehre par chinta hai jhalak rahi,

Daadi ne na hai pani piya na hai dwaai khai,

Sab na kaha maan se karo baat,

Dadi ne maan li unki hat,

Chali daadi maan ke kamre ki taraf,

Par gir padi who aur le gaye phir unhe kamre ki taraf

Dev ne kiya nishcat ki who baat karega apne bhai se,

Chai jitna bhi who kare gussa ya phir ruswaai se..

MAAN DEV
CONFRONTATION

Maan kamre mein hai gusse mein,

Na galat sahi samajh rahein hain,

Dekha toh paaya geet ja chuki hai,

Isme bhi unki hisaab se dev ki glati hai,

Gusse mein toda unhone mez par rakha saaman,

Aur lagi chot hath par nikla khoon mahaan,

Gusse mein chal diye niche,

Raaste mein he dev ne hai rekha khichi,

Maar khane ko bhi hai who tayaar,

Batana chahta hai SACCHAI ek baar,

Par dev phir bhi apni baat par ada raha,

Use bataya aur koi toh samjhyega nahi kyunki hai sab pe dar
ka saaya,

Bataya use ki galatfamein panap rahein hai uski man mein,

Galat hai who nah hai koi sacchai usme,

Bataya maan ko pyaar hai geet unka,

Taqdeer se milta hai par bepenah,

Use thukra kar taqdeer ko maat de rahein hain,

hain ek ghari khayi,

Bataya use ki kitna pyaar karti hai geet unse,

Har gam ko bhula unki liye hai jeeti marti,

Us pyaar ko tukhraya hai unhone,

Us ko sataya unhone,

Yeh bataya ki who toh us se zaydaa hai abhage,

Taras jo aaj tak karta tha doosron par aaj who khud bhi use hai
na anchuhe,

Jo karti thi un se bepanaah mohabbat,

Chali gayi hai chod who ghar aur unki kismet,

Ek Khwaish thi uski ke who zindagi sajjayegi unki saath,

Khushi thi itni ke foole na samaye thi,

Par maan ne use itna dard hai pahunchaya,

Ki aaj uske sir par hai na koi saaya,

Who bhi toh us se karna chahte the yehi baat

Isliye dev ne banay ek plan dadi ke saath,

Phir bataayi usne farmhouse ki sachhayi,

Aur maan ko apne kiye par glani hui,

Dev ne yeh kiya zaahir,

Jise who kehte thi kamzori who hai ek mahir,

Uska badaapn aur uski mahaanta,

Taaki who shuru kar sake ek zindagi nayi tarah,

Maaf kiya tha sirf unke liye,

Bite hui kal ko bhula ek nayi shuruvat kar sake,

Maan ne jaana ki who tha galat,

Epi hua khatam ab sochte rahe har falak…

Preacp:

Maan chala pehne kaali kameez,

Waapis aa gayi who jeep,

Geet chali amritsar ek aunty ke saath,

Milenge done kya hogi baath

Jaaane ki liye dekhe

GGHSP mon to sat 9:30…

Posting for Medha (hegdemedha)

Alright folks, yesterday's episode raised several thoughts which I just had to pen down. Given that I had a day off, the thoughts ultimately have turned into a long thesis. You know what they say about an idle mind being the devil's workshop!!

Why did Geet allow Dev to apply colour to her? Why did Geet apply colour on Dev's forehead?

[Caveat: I understand from posts that this was a last-minute call while the shoot was on and not a part of the original script. I, too, am unhappy with what was portrayed. Nonetheless, I will attempt to justify this on the basis of the past episodes.]

We were shown that Geet has forgiven Dev. We are willing to live with that.

Yet, when we saw Geet smile at Dev and allow him to apply colour, we were livid. Our anger knew no boundaries when Geet went ahead and applied colour to Dev on his forehead (tilak). She could forgive, we said, but not forget. She ought to have shown discomfort when Dev attempted to apply colour on her, and she ought not to have applied colour to him.

But, then I asked myself to look at it from another perspective. Let's go back to the episode at the farmhouse, the one where Geet forgave Dev. Let's bear in mind here that, from Geet's point of view, Dev is truly repentant for what he did. Now, one of the reasons Geet gave for forgiving Dev was that she did not want anyone to be burdened on account of her. She did not want Dev to be weighed down by the burden of his guilt. I referred to this earlier and cited Geet's own first-hand experience of living a life laden with guilt or some other sorrow. She has always expressed her reluctance for anyone else to be burdened on account of her. A case in point is when she refused MSK's offer to be his fake fiancee telling him that she did not want his life to be weighed under the burdens of her life. Another instance is her decision to move out of the Manchandas' house, lest her pregnant status bring disrepute to the Manchandas.

So, what did we see? Dev applied colour to Grandma and instinctively moved to the next person, who happened to be Geet. Dev hesitated and lowered his eyes in what could be construed as remnants of the burden of guilt that continued to plague him. This was seen by Geet, who truly does not want anyone else to be burdened on account of her. If she were to show any displeasure, it would indicate that she had merely mouthed the words of forgiveness, but not truly meant it. By smiling at Dev, Geet indicated that she had truly forgiven him and sought to release Dev from the last vestiges of his guilt. By applying colour to him (and the forehead was the only available respectable place) and wishing him a happy holi, she conveyed her wishes of a new start for the repentant man. A new start free of the burden of guilt. A new start on the morning ofHoli, the evil having been consigned to flames in the fire of holi during the preceding night.

What caused the outburst? What did MSK's dialogues connote?

MSK was just about to shut the windows to shut out the noise from outside when he was arrested by the sight of Annie and Dev playing around. His anger went up a notch when he saw Annie -- the sister to whom he had explained Dev's ill-deeds at the poolside -- playing Holi with Dev as if he had done no wrong. [In a humorous aside, given MSK's later statement that Geet did not have the Khuranas' blood running through her veins and therefore forgave Dev, I am willing to accept his proposition and apply it to say that Annie's forgiveness of Dev only proved that Annie is not MSK's sister.]

Then MSK saw Dev and Annie head towards Grandma and apply colour to her. Maybe the anger did not head up another notch there, because he already knew that Grandma had a soft corner for Dev.

And then MSK saw Dev applying colour to Geet and Geet's reciprocal action. He saw Geet head into the house. Scant seconds later, he saw Dev following Geet into the house.

MSK's distrust of Dev immediately sprang into action. MSK said to himself that he was sure that Dev was going to Geet and that Geet was unable to understand Dev. He voiced his understanding of Dev -- neither could he ever change nor would he ever change. He said that Dev has stayed at their house for so many days and had attempted to poison Geet and his relationship. He acknowledged that it was his fault that he housed Dev at home for so many days, housed a serpent for so many days. He expressed the end of his tolerance for Dev, a tolerance that had commenced to repay the debt of Dev saving his life. Here, I reckon that we are of the unanimous opinion that MSK did not, for a moment, express any words to doubt Geet's fidelity.

Geet was worried about MSK's silence, his refusal to talk to her.

Enter Dev, who despite MSK, Geet and Grandma telling him to keep out of MSK and Geet's lives, continues his unsolicited intervention. Dev started by asking if she had spoken to MSK. I will complete the unasked question here -- had she spoken to MSK about her decision to forgive him? Geet's silence gives him the answer that he requires, that MSK still does not know of Geet's decision to forgive him. Dev volunteered to speak to MSK to set things aright between MSK and Geet. It does seem as if he was hoping to push the buttons to get MSK to explode in anger. A serpent in paradise?

Enter MSK, who questioned Dev how things would become alright. He told Dev that as long as he was at the Khurana Mansion, the situation would not be ok. He told Dev that he was a fallen man and would remain so. He accused Dev of being the biggest problem and attributed the start of problems in his and Geet's lives to Dev. He vowed not to spare Dev, caught hold of him and slapped him.

Geet, the girl who has always abhorred physical violence, could not comprehend what just happened. She asked Maan what he was doing. Dev asked his brother to listen to him. MSK rhetorically asked Dev if he should listen to him. Geet interjected once again and asked MSK to listen. MSK stopped Geet and told her that she did not know Dev's true face. MSK said that he had understood what Dev was trying to do. MSK looked at Geet for a moment and told her that whatever Dev was doing was with dishonourable intentions (that's how I interpret *gandi neeyati*here).

Dev shrugged off MSK and asked him to stop. He told MSK that, while MSK was elder to him and could beat him if he wanted to, he ought not to accuse him wrongly. Dev admitted that he had committed crimes and claimed he was still repenting for them. Yet, Dev said that MSK's accusations were completely wrong. He claimed that he only wished for MSK to be happy, for the misunderstanding between MSK and Geet to be resolved. He said that he did not expect to be patted on the back for his actions, but pleaded that such allegations ought not to be made against him.

MSK responded by saying that it was a new tactic of Dev to separate them -- Maan and Geet. He said that it was his fault that he allowed Dev to remain at home. MSK asked how he could forget that a lowlife like Dev could never be reformed.

Dev asked MSK to tell him what he had done wrong this time. He asked MSK why he was making wrong allegations against him on the basis of the poison generated on account of his past misdeeds.

And, then, the spark to the plug. Dev asked MSK if Geet could forgive him, why could he not forgive him. A calculated revelation to an already angry man? A revelation designed to set off an angry man who, by Dev's account, did not even know of his wife's decision to forgive him?

Geet looked apprehensively at MSK to gauge his reaction to that, his reaction to what should have been the first time MSK found out about her unilateral decision to forgive Dev. Would he turn to her to confirm if this were true? Well, surprise. MSK did not so much as spare her a glance.

And, the plug was lit and the detonation took place. MSK held Dev by the collar and answered his question. He told Dev that he could not forgive him because the Khurana family's blood runs in his veins, in which there is honour. He said that if Geet did not have that same honour, then it was not his problem. He said that it could be the case that Geet had safed khoon (I am unable to give an English equivalent to this) running through her veins (note that he used the word 'shayad' and did not make a conclusive statement about Geet's blood - a redeeming word there) and that was why she could forget her dishonour (beizzati) and forgive a man like Dev, but not him. He asked Dev what magic he had woven around his wife (note the possessiveness here) that she would forgive a man like him, a man whom he -- MSK -- hates from the core of his heart. MSK turned to Geet and asked her what Dev had done for her that she forgot everything and played holi with him today? He asked her if she had forgotten what Dev had done to her.

And, that, to me, seemed to be the root cause of the outburst. More on that in a short while.

Geet was too shell-shocked to respond and was able to utter only a single word ... "Maan?" A brilliant play of words here, for "Maan" means respect too -- and, today, MSK questioned her sense of self-respect. And, with that, Geet walked out.

Now, for what I perceive to be the root cause of MSK's outburst.

MSK's understandable anger, hatred and insecurity probably stems from the fact that Dev was the man who had dishonoured his wife, his Geet. Try as he might, I would say that he cannot ignore the fact that Dev was the first man for Geet. This, for him, was probably brought out starkly for him at the holi sequence. The sight of Dev becoming the first person to apply the colours of holi to Geet probably underscored the fact that Dev was the first man for Geet. The sight of Geet applying tilak to Dev's forehead (a sign of respect) probably underscored that Geet had submitted herself to Dev to fulfil what she assumed then was her marital duties. Remember how MSK wanted to be the first to apply haldi to Geet at their wedding? The holi scene he witnessed only brought back what could be a deep-rooted insecurity.

Here, fortunately for MSK, Geet does not know that he had seen her and Dev at the farmhouse. I wonder if MSK's question to Geet -- "what had Dev done for her that prompted her to forgive him?" -- actually gave words to his silent, simmering thoughts ever since he saw Dev and Geet at the farmhouse -- Geet telling Dev that she forgave him in a *romantic* ambience that was created for a couple. We have to bear in mind that MSK is still unaware that the setting at the farmhouse had been created for him and Geet.

Another possible cause is that for MSK, Geet and he are one. Her dishonour was his dishonour. And, MSK was not a man to ever forgive a slight to his honour.

Did what happen justify Geet's decision to walk out?

[Caveat: I admit that I could be wrong in the interpretation of what was meant by "honour".] For Geet, MSK's words about honour must have hit hard. MSK had told her that, for him, she was the epitome of purity. He had told her that her past did not matter. Yet, by referring to her dishonour, did he somehow tell her that her past did haunt him?

MSK's words in Geet's flashbacks were probably pointers to her thoughts at that time.

MSK had thanked her for including her in his life, making him a part of her and giving him a new life. Today, he expressed a distinction -- he was a true Khurana, she was not. He may have become a part of her life, but has she become a part of his life, a part of the Khuranas' life, a Khurana? I wonder if this was also why they showed the scene where, as per the Khurana family rite of passage, Geet left the imprints of her palms on the walls of the Khurana Mansion. A mere ritual that held no meaning? [Caveat: I know the question of whether she had become a part of his life is actually rhetorical because MSK has, time and again, told Geet that she was his life. But, this was just a thought that came to mind while reflecting on the flashbacks.]

MSK had told Geet that he did not know if man is born again, and that if there were rebirths, he wanted Geet's companionship, her love in each birth of his. Now, this brings to mind Geet's definition of love. For her, love was togetherness for a lifetime, one which would not be separated even by death.

So, now unsure of whether or not MSK has actually made her a part of his life, does she decide to test whether MSK does truly love her by walking out? This probably ties in with Vinu's spoiler -- "If you love someone, let them go. And if they return to you, then it was meant to be. But, if they don't, it means that their love was never yours to begin with." [Caveat: I am assuming that it is Geet who lets go off Maan, and not the other way round ... the episode tonight will let us know who lets whom go.]

Ability to assess characters -- the test of Dev's assessment

MSK has always been proved to be a shrewd judge of characters. On the other, Geet has been portrayed as a person who believes in the inherent goodness of others -- be it Dev (when she initially refused to believe that he had betrayed her), Meera (she trusted Meera and accepted her offer of staying at her home on the night of the engagement fiasco) or Arjun (she did not tar him with the same brush as Naintara just because he was a Rathod).

MSK distrusted Arjun. Geet told MSK that Arjun should not be tarred with the same brush as Naintara only on account of the fact that Arjun was Naintara's brother. She believed in "good until proven otherwise". MSK disagreed, but only permitted Arjun to be the wedding planner at the insistence of Geet and his Grandma. Arjun was shown to be a person whose conscience would prick him when he was about to do something wrong. Yet, he lost reason when his sister was injured and allowed his conscience to be silenced by his bid for vengeance. Unknown to them, MSK was proved right when Arjun used Annie in a bid to wreak vengeance against the Khuranas. And, unknown to them, Geet's faith in the innate goodness of persons was proven right when Arjun let his conscience dictate his actions once he found out the truth. That it took Dev's words for Arjun to believe in the innocence of the Khuranas and, therefore, prove Geet right was highly ironic. [Note: Personally, I do not think that anything Arjun does would suffice to make amends for his objectification of Annie.].

At the start of the series, MSK had ousted Dev and Naintara from the Khurana mansion for reasons still unknown to us. One can assume that the actions were heinous enough to warrant such an ouster and a complete break-up of the family. Finally, at Grandma's insistence, he allowed Dev one last opportunity and consents to bring him back. What Dev did to Geet completely destroyed MSK's ability to trust him. So, MSK still distrusts Dev, his actions and his motives. On the other hand, Geet is willing to accept that Dev has reformed and has forgiven him. Who will be proven right this time?

* Misunderstandings *

Maan's Point of View 😭

Extreme reaction to everything is a part of my identity
This is who I am, it is part of my personality

When I love someone I do it with extreme passion
Same goes for hate, I do it with total aggression

What Dev did to Geet cannot be forgiven
Yet, Geet did it and for this I see no reason

People like Dev do not change ever
At all things wrong, he is accomplished and clever

I have forgiven him many times for his crime(s)
But how can I forgive him now, for it is a sin this time

My Geet is too gullible and innocent
She is so pure and possesses an attitude benevolent

I felt the need to make her see through Dev's actions
But I got carried away too far by my own emotions

They say right - Words once spoken can never be taken back
Geet is leaving me for I have hurt her with my verbal attack

Geet's Point of View 😡

The school of LIFE is the world's best school
It teaches you everything, things cool and uncool

I feel like I am God's specially blessed child
I have had my share of experiences, crazy and wild

Each experience taught me an important lesson
And I have learnt it that hard way for I have had no concession

Innocence is my biggest virtue and that I like to preserve
But I will not be taken advantage of and will get what I deserve

Maan loves me more than anything, there I have no doubt
But does he trust my judgement? For this I cannot do without

We are two halves of the same coin, two bodies and one soul
If we dont trust each other, then we will less of a couple and more sole

Maan, I want to move on in life with a fresh start
I dont want to remain in my past and let it tear me apart

In your own words, the baby was here to set our love's foundation
It will come back when we are ready, it is God's most beautiful creation

What wrong did I do if I did not want to hold against Dev a grudge
He means nothing more to me than my brother-in-law, please dont misjudge

He may still be bad at heart and intend wrong
Why let him impact our life where he doesn't belong

All I wanted was for your support in my life's path
But you shattered me today with you remarks and your wrath

Audience Point of View

Maan and Geet redefined the meaning of chemistry and passion

I cannot think of another couple that managed to capture so much of my attention
And Maaneet also hold the record for doing it for such a long duration

Why oh Why between them these misunderstanding and lack of communication
Please bring back the magic of Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Maaneet's union

Without Maaneet this show is just slowly bleeding crimson
With this new track we are waiting for a lot of love, passion and attraction

*********************************************************************************************************

Why was Geet right in forgiving Dev?

Well, we have had so much debate about this topic in the last few days that I kep asking myself this question. What would make a girl forgive such a terrible ill and move on?

When I was a little girl, I had this favourite toy of mine which I loved to play with. One day while fighting with my brother, he threw that toy and it broke. There could not have been anything worse that could have happened to me at that point in life and I still remember promising myself that I would never talk to my brother for the rest of my life. A few days since then, I was mad at him answering only in mono syllables and avoiding him totally when I could. This event eventually was followed by me spoiling another one of my toys beyond repair. And the first one I went to to cry about it was my brother.

Dev cheated Geet. She was in denial about it for the longest time and even approached him to let him know about her pregnancy. She still thought he would come back. But when he didn't, the fact that he had used her and abandoned her and her baby was the biggest adversity she had had to face in her life. Her haterd for Dev and Naintara knew no bounds. That was the biggest deal. But then, she had the unfortunate occurance of another adversity, a bigger one this time. She lost the one person that she was willing to battle all odds for, her baby. And she clearly held herself responsible for this loss. While grieving the loss of her baby, is it not possible that what dev did to her seemed much less hurtful that the fact that she lost her baby? Could that have not been a trigger for her to contemplate forgiving the man who was now trying to walk the path of redemption now?

Why is Maan unwilling to forgive Dev?

Well, we heard it from the horse's mouth yesterday. he had a lot of gairat in his blood. But Maan is known to say things in his anger which he really does not mean. So I am wondering what else could it be. No matter how weak my argument may sound, I have seen this to be true with a lot of men in my house. Hence, I will state it anyway. Change. In my opinion, a lot of people don;t deal with change very well and we have known Maan to be one such guy. He does not take any thing out of the ordinary at face value. He likes to feel in control and does not appreciate anything that happens without his knowledge.

I was kind of going down memory lane and trying to think of everything Maan has had to deal with so far. Let us not forget that in serial time, it is less than an year since the start of their journey. We saw man to be a crude, angry, aggreessive young man who thought very little of women. In his opinion, he did not hold any one in high regard if they were not independent and he was of the opinion that most women like to be ordered around or had selfish motives and despiced them. Let us see what all changed from here
1. He met Geet who changed everything around him.
2. He was very angry with his brother for all his wrongs but upon the request from his grand-mother for whom he has great respect, he had to forgive him and let him come back home.
3. He was feeling an extreme pull towards Geet and could not stop himself and fought so hard to make things normal, but failed and fell in love.
4. He was told about her pregnancy and thought she had cheated on him. When he found out otherwise his prime goal began her safty and security.
5. His love left him on their engagement night and went away and he had no clue why. He later learnt that everything that went wrong in geet's life was because of his beloved brother. His rage knew no limits. he truly hated his brother for what he did to Geet.
6. Geet left him because of a misunderstanding and blamed him of having helped dev out of prison.
7. Naintara trying to kill Geet and take away the one thing that he cherished beyond anything. So did Brij.
8. Their baby's life at risk and his sacrifices to keep the baby and Geet safe.
9. The loss of his baby which had meant so much to him.
10. Geet forgiving Dev without as much as a mention about it to him.

Well, come to think of it, it is too much of a change for anyone to handle, let alone a person like Maan. I think he was furious about this whole episode because he had this feeling that he was loosing control over everything around him. he just wanted things to be normal, but everything around him was changing. He suggested to geet that they should move on, she took it badly, and then he sees her forgiving dev and moving on. For a control freak like Maan, there cannot be a bigger sense of loss and insecurity. Not insecurity about loosing his Geet, but insecurity about not having a control on his own life. According to me he is just someone who cannot deal with so many changes so soon.

Episode Analysis

Well, Maan questioned Geet's self-respect. That may be a wrong way to put it because he never said that directly. He said "IF" she does not have enough self respect, then that cannot be my problem. But Geet understood him to mean that she has no self-respect and was deeply shattered.

I think the CV's conceived this separation track just to cover GC and DD's holiday's for 2 weeks in a row. So the idea was never to make it a situation where one was more wrong than the other, but to create a situation which was worthy of debate. So, we can go on and on about who was responsible for this misunderstanding and never agree on one answer. Well played actually.

Geet leaving home and thinking of happy memories was very touching. The fact that the poor girl has no where to go was even more heart wrenching. But she had to leave. Since the time of her marriage to Dev, she lost everything, her family, her identity, her safety, her comforts, her virginity, everything. The only thing she had left for her was her self-respect. She did no wrong and was willing to fight against all odds. And the man who saved her, who helped her most, who knew everything about her past, who knew her better than she knew herself questioned that every thing today. And she was shattered. She had to get away from that place. Very well done.

Maan was lost in his own world and did not even know that Geet was leaving. He was caught up in what he said and was beginning to regret it. It was then that he noticed all her clothes missing and understood the gravity of the situation. His Geet had left him. And he blamed Dev who interfered between them to be the culprit.

Daadi and Anne trying to stop Geet was a well done bit. Both volunteered to talk to Maan about what he said and make him see his folly. It would be odd if they didn't show it. I was glad though that dev did not utter a word here.

Wow. Daadi the drama queen. But it was anticipated.

Now the highlight of today's episode. What the hell was Dev thinking when he spoke to Maan the way he did. I am quiet disppointed that they are making dev seem like the right one here and Maan the wrong one. Understandably he said some rude things which he is regretting now. But dev still has no right to say anything to Maan. He is trying to walk the path of redemption and is truly sorry for what he did. Fine. But didn;t everyone, daadi, Maan, Geet all of them ask him to stay out of Maaneet's business? Then why volunteer any help. And to top it he is blaming Maan for everything that happened. Somehow that did not sit well with me.

Maan had to know the truth about why Geet forgave Dev. I would have preferred it so much if it was daadi or Anne who told him all about it and not Dev. The only way I am trying to see a positive in this is that since Maan and Geet want to move on and that is the focus of the next track, it was important that Maan also soften up a little bit towards Dev and it would never happen if this confrontation did not happen. But still, the way he was talking to Maan today, it would take all of Maan;s self-control to not strangle him right there, and on that account, I am proud of Maan.

The tears in his eyes when he knew why Geet wanted to move on were again very nice. She was willing to do it just for him and he knows that now. He will bring heaven and earth together to make things right.

Although I would hope that they made Geet and Maan realize their mistakes and contemplate what they could have done differently to make things better, I know now that it will be Maan on a guilt trip trying to make ammends. However, I will look past it because the future looks prominging.

Amritsar, here we come.

Hey everyone!

This is a huge *jhapkiss* to Barry for the dialogues today- extremely clear and hard hitting.

I need sometime to get my bearing but in short-

1. Maan prides himself in being a Khurana- in his anger and hubris, he ended up hurting the 1 person he loves the most in this world. And still he thought it was because of Dev, and not what he said that Geet left..undermining the fact that it's always maan, never dev who affects Geet.

2. Maan is on high point...and he claimed to be higher than Geet. Dev presented Geet's POV today- it was his biggest contribution- since he's not becoming negative(lagta oh nahi hai) send him out now!
But, anyway, the point is that Geet did the mature thing and forgave- to move on...and he called her all those awful things. Maan the epic hero had the fatal flaw of hubris and anger- his weakness..and today it took away the sri that had come into his life- haha, he insulted the lady of the house- his own wife- who used to be the epitomy of purity- today became safed khoon..he will suffer because of this..

3. Even some one like Annie could understand why Geet couldn't stay- it was huge then, wasn't it? This is the worst thing he has ever said to her- and she had to come away.

4. Maan with his action, gave a chance for Dev to claim a high ground. Maan came down the stairs, and Dev went up them to talk to Maan.
This time, Dadi wouldn't have done. IT was imperative that Dev said it to hom- to make maan realize that if someone like DEV can say something like this to him, then there is seriously something wrong.

5. Dadi was good- but i couldn't stop laughing when she said hume Geet chahiye..
sorry..haha..

6. JEEP is back!!! and a new maneet track i hope?? YES!! we want MANEEEEEEEET!!! only MANEEET!!!

And i always wanted gurudwara and amritsar again..hayee....😍

nd yes, I'm glad he cried!! and of course, when Geet left pehle, the office, he hurt himself too, and today also...sahi hai, he hurt his gith, he hurt himself haan!

And good to see GC back!

Dd, Gc, samir,anju- Brilliant acting guys!

I guess that's all for today...can't recall much else..

That's it
love to all!

Maaneet forever ....😍😍😍😍😍😍

Today I had mixed reactions after watching the episode😕...I won't deny that I liked the episode from a drama and acting POV👍🏼...But a culprit giving lecture about right and wrong is a bit hard to digest🤔

Even though its coming out from Dev's mouth😡..but he did say some harsh realities here thus giving out the major weakness of MSK's character🤔..MSK can give life for his love..but he feels he is the greatest and is very much self-obsessed with his Khurana stature because of which he ends up humiliating his same love under the shadows of misunderstanding...Today Dev sort of points out these flaws in MSK and makes him realise to value his true love which he got😳
I m convinced with the dialogues here....but I m not convinced that Dev is giving out these dialogues here😔...
But on second thoughts ,I feel sometimes the person who commits a sin and is on the path of his redemption ends up teaching the biggest lesson to those who might b on their way to commit a sudden blunder because the one who commits the sin very well knows the consequence and doesn't really want anyone else to repeat the same history🤔;Dev in HP never valued Geet's importance when she came in his life because for him it was all a gameplan to earn quick bucks for his selfish and manipulative wife NT;Today when he looks back ,he knows that he cannot change the past but at least he will b feeling relieved to see that Geet and his brother r happy in their blissful life and r not paying the price of his crime but instead he sees that his brother MSK and Geet unknowingly are commiting the blunder of ruining their own married life in the shadows of misunderstanding for which somewhere again indirectly he is responsible; He cannot explain anything to Geet here since she has already left ,so the only option left for him was to go and talk to MSK and try to make him realise that I m the unlucky one but u r the lucky one ..so don't let your luck go in waste in the dark shadows of misunderstanding and ego ...Dev has paid the price for his crime...he has lost the respect of his family..he never got true love in life..so somewhere he knows a lot about life more than MSK mayb because he has seen both light as well as dark side of the life..he has learnt a lot from his sins and so he doesn't want two innocent souls to get drowned in the shadows of MU just because of him because that will make his whole redemption go in waste...
We as viewers might see it that a culprit is lecturing the hero and proving him bad...I myself saw it that way and so din't like it much🤔 but on second thoughts I can see what the CVs r trying to show here...They just want to prove that the one who commits the mistake finds the true path of redemption only when he has the courage and capability to successfully stop someone else from commiting any blunder....And thats what Dev yesterday did in the episode... It doesn't show MSK in wrong light or ruin his character or make him weak but it only shows that Dev successfully hv achieved his path of redemption......From here if CVs eventually make him negative ,that will b a whole new track and nothing to do with his past journey😊
Barry was good with his dialogues today👏...
SS was fabuluos today with his dialogue delivery ,expressions and vocie modulation👍🏼..GC din't hv much dialogues but his expressions were good but lacked a bit of variety I feel🤔...In the start part,DD was good with her emotiobs👏...Dadi and Annie looked a bit over the top with thier crying act😳
So now Amritsar and mayb Golden temple since Geet leaves for Amritsar and MSK will go behind her...Mahiiiii😍😍

MSK on manaofying his Mishti mission mayb😳😳😳😳😳...I hope we get to see a Golden-Temple reunion of Maan-Geet since Geet as a show is gonig to complete 1 whole year this April😳...So fingers crossed😛
Episode Rating:8/10...Very powerful dialgoues...good drama and superb acting...👍🏼

Maan still doesn't realise what he said to Geet in his anger..he was accusing dev but in his anger he hurt the sensitive part of every woman's character her self-respect...and she left...
Dev ke Parrr Nikal Aaaye hai🤔
I cracked up wen he said aise kya dekh rahe hai bro🤣
and the another tamachaa Varna Kya karengee Bhai🤣
I lovedd GC's Eyeballs Poppin out.. *sigh* I miss the competition him and Naintaraa about who pops their eyeballs out the most🤣🤣🤣NT Coma Mein se Nikal...Maan Veerji is waitingg for competition kunki picture abhi baaki hai mere dost🤣
Ahaaaa Iss parivaar mein kisiki himmat nahi hai apke saamne apko kuch kehne ki par MAIN Kahoongaa..gawsh who is talking..is this the same Phattu who used to hide from his bro...
But Dev clearly said to Maan you are not MaanGod all this Khurana Khaandaan Duhai you just agve to your wife proves that..
She didn't forgive me for my sake..she forgived me to start afresh with you and you pushed her out before she even started living her new life..
Hate to say Dev was right while Maan was egoisticc..but Dev being such a saint..Gawsh I can't digest all that...Dev's Character will jsut never change for me..I am like MSK once I know how sumone is I will never trust them again..Its really hard for me to forgive huge sins..
I am sure Hugee Fan Base will be totally Shocked and betrayed that sumone like Dev gave Maan a huge lecture to the Maan Singh Khurana but if they look at it in a way that Dev was right in clearing the misunderstandings but the bit where he said that Geet did this for Khurana Blood..err.. no she didn't..Geet did it for Maan to start a new life for Maan..wat wuld she get by forgiving her for Khurana Khaandaan..😕
AHHHH HE criedddddddd🥳A tear drop fell from his eyesss😍
