personally, I don't know what the law states as rape, but I would not classify as rape either...I mean what Dev did was wrong...but Geet did give consent....and Dev did not force himself on her....I guess it could be rape since it was in deceit, but then there should definitely different classifications of rape....

yes, it wasn't forced.....but think about it had she known that this marriage was fake...would she have slept with him? so in a way it is a type of dhoka....a sham.....under false pretences.....so this would "techinically" be termed as rape.😕

And about consenting......what about the fact when the girl finds out that she has been betrayed? That the man that she gave herself too robbed her innocence and left? What happens to the consent then? So that consent doesn't matter after.

Yes i do understand from which direction you are coming....but can the sort of rape, where both parties consented be classed in the same degree as where one person is forced violently to perform sexual intercourse or is gang raped. I know where i live there are degrees of rape and sexual assult.😊

yup i agree with u..

geet wasnt raped...she was cheated by dev n nantara..

but i would like to add as nanatara had teh plan to get geet's property...she didnt allowed or asked dev to do tht with geet...but he used her at tht moment..

so dev was equally involved n i guess more of to blame him...yes he was wrong...

forgivivng somebody who realizes his mistake is ur goodness...thts how u move on in life...n give the other person to move on too...

if u will stick to tht mistake of someone else...u wont be able to enjoy happiness n fullness of life..

i liked geet forgiving dev coz she wants to move on in life....

I agree with you.....I am glad Geet forgave Dev...that way she can move on in life....I just wish Maan would do the same, so they could move on together....somehow I feel....if Geet has forgiven Dev...then Maan should let it go too....

I think ke yahen bhi sab ki soch ek nahi hogi, kyun ke hum sab ek country mein nahi rehte...maybe india mein yeh rape ho, lekin yahen europe mein isko rape nahi kehte hai, to mere liye yeh rape nahi hai...

Just my opinion....no offense to anyone...

Dev straight away felt bad for what he had done if you look back....This isn't something that happened recently...He understood what he had done was wrong and tried to rectify it many times. I personally feel to forgive someone takes a bigger heart than to hold onto the pain and bitterness..... If the other person can forgive themselves for the crime is completely different.
