NAgs dear I see you dilemma...& I honestly don't believe in "forgive and forget" either..especially to something of this scale... forgiving is OK, but forgetting?.. NO!
In No way do I want to see a "normal Bahbhi-Devar relationship", between Geet and Dev. That would definitely be really insane if they show that!
I like your "indifference" scenario,- I agree it seems realistic, and hope they show something along those lines!

just some food for thought, why does it become so hard to let go of certain beliefs and emotions, over a piece of fiction? why do people get so effected! i am trying to gauge whats running in the minds of most of you here who passionately hate Dev, intensely love Maan, and are angered by Geet at the moment! do share!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would like to start with a reality check of myself sans Dev, Maan and Geet.
Dev: This character brought out anger in women, a kind of forewarning of the reality of the world today, of how power, money and societal standing can erase our dreams of being women with carefree souls. How dreams can be shattered any moment for women with fragile emotions, delicate innerselves, because of people like him, and so forced to take responsibility too early in life.
Maan: His aggressive yet cold nature to the world around him which he surveyed as an arena to conquer, his largesse heart and warm love for people things he loved, his passionate and warm love he gave to humans he considered sacred and godly, his discernment and sense of justice and honor, all made us just love this man.
Geet: Her gentle, vibrant and bindaas attitude, her love for her family, her defiance of all tradition be it family, marriage, khandan honor, she forsook to burn alive a passion within her, to challenge the very orthodox custom she was born into, to punish the perpetrators of the crime committed on her, her pursuit of justice with the strength she found through Maan all made us love her. Her impulsive behavior was sometimes loved and sometimes not endearing. But she could never be hated.
Dev, Maan and Geet have given us performances which had intense emotional drain while they acted and while we watched. It has been a two way experience. They have acted with every profound emotion induced into the characters that were sketched for them and we have watched these characters bring out the drama with all our senses drawn. Often we have become the characters and felt their every innate emotion.
The beliefs and emotions are every bit packed into this fiction GEET HSP, and so we receive this fiction well enacted, as a package consisting of these beliefs that the CVs wrote for us.
Personally for me, I watch the serial with not wanting the slightest distraction around me (my family keeps away during this time), to involve into the storyline, dialogues, screen-play but the minute the episode ends, I begin to become objective. For then only can we get that real picutre. Or even a true symbolism of what the episode stood for us at that moment.

Thanks Saher.....I hope they go down the realistic approach....it is the only way it will make sense. Truly to me it seemed that the forgiveness was premature... and hasty, defo not well thought out. I felt that Geet perceives Dev as a PEST in their lives, and giving him this forgiveness that he covets so much will simply get him out of her face....but that is a very naive approach. This is not the first naive thing Geet has done, nor is it the last...it is very much consistent with her bubbly nature. It has always been Maan who has pointed out to Geet, that she is being naive...and he has always steered her back, and again this time I think he will do the same thing, as soon as he comes to the realization that she did this just to get Dev out of their personal life. Though...tomorrow...i am looking for a nice beating form Maan to Dev!! I hope I am not disappointed!!

Nags, Emi,
I believe Geet had become indifferent to Dev. Really, feelingless towards him. Early on it was fear and a feeling of being defeated and cheated. Then it became a defiance to punish. Then with Maan the strength and fortitude and the challenge to take Dev to task. And thats what she pursued all through. Finally, with Dev becoming a part of their life as in HM trip, she began to become indifferent towards him and only approached him for help. And he gave it too. She became thankful (as any gentle woman would do) and all through only felt love for Maan. ANd the more Devs presence, she was chill in her attitude towards him. Her goodness always showing through for the khandan. Now with this indifference, is when I began to ask, why was there any need for fogiveness. She could have been patient (thats her virtue) and asked him to go home at the farmhouse. There was no need of this impulsive behavior for which she has to feel nervous to explain to Maan. She could have just checked Dev in several ways. She has been strong against him earlier and could have done so even now. The logic behind it I believe is because the CVs wanted to scrap the track of the past theme.Think, its just to get the drama going between Maan and Geet, and factoring in a complete end to the track of Dev and his misdeeds. I dont think they will pursue any punishment as I hoped for, rather it would be the end of that old story of justice, punishment and social theme😕 CVs cant handle it sensitively ! so better to end that and start anew.

Why Geet forgave Dev so easily? Why?
Now if MSK will accuse her, can't blame him....
No MSK 😭 ...
Episode was good, loved to see happy, chirpy Geet...When she realised that her happiness only makes Maan happy, just then.....Rest update you can read on TT site.......http://www.telly tadka.net/celebrity/celebrity-fan-page/38-comment/345-3-idiotz-geet-episode-discussion-23-march-2011.htmlPlease copy and past the link, don't put space between telly & tadka....
