@Priti....I agree Dev was and is a weak character but he used to hate him earlier...remember the way he used to speak about him with Kamini.....even when Maan made arrangements for his return to India...he was not thankful...He was bitter and hated Maan.....It might stem from his childhood...the way he was treated by his father or his own weak mentality.....In ancient texts...A person with a weak mind is more likely to take the wrong road....And I think the basic character of Dev has not changed....Otherwise how would you explain his debt.....and the reason for his return from Canada???? His involvement with those ruffians itself shows that he has not been upto any good.....Maybe he is not yet crossed over to the dark side....but he is almost there.....He has a black heart....

Kavi, did u attribute his initial reactions to hatred? I thought it was frustration and an inferiority complex. The reason i thought that was because when he started feeling guilty about what he did to geet, the first person he wanted to talk to about it was Maan. He could have tried going back to HP to see wht has happened since, but he chose to tell maan everything about it. If he hated Maan, I doubt he would do that. he could also very well choose to run away with NT or tell daadima and request her to save his skin.

He has always tried to choose easy paths to attain his goals. That the easy ones have been wrong paths are just a bad coincidence. See, like he choose to ask maan. But Maan kicked him out. So he duped someone else. The duping someone wasn;t his first option.

I don't know if I am making sense 😆. anyways, it is obvious this dev is back to be bad and evil. Just need to wait and watch if he already is or if he will become one.

I think his initial rant against bro in canada.....was because Maan punished by sending him away.....any kid brother will be angry then and keep complaning and whining to mom against his bro....
