i am also stalking, multi-tasking and........catching the movie that sun is talking about....falling in love....the repeat.

@shreya..what went wrong with KANK was the complexity of the relationship which appeared even more complex on screen...........sometimes inspite of having the most caring partner people still seek solace and relationship outside..........these things just cannot be justified the same way as why maya could not love rishi inspite of him being a sweetheart.............karan johar could not handle the mature subject well and further cmplicated the issue hence people came out complaining after watching the movie.....and in India the other reason it did not work was because we still believe in hte age old instituition of marriage come what may..........if maya had repented or dev had repented and gone back to their family ........there would have been a round of applaud from people inspite of what those 4 individuals feel abt it..................

I don't have an opinion either way. To each his own. But i am too practical in my outlook. My romance is limited to the movies i see and the M&B's i read.

In the indian context I have no problem with people moving on if the financials are taken care of.

I enjoy the english movies with these themes because i know that the woman will not be left in the lurch by the man deciding to move on.

My sensibility changes in the indian context.

So though I love 'falling in love' and my mind does not raise any questions, my outlook changes when i see KANK as i relate it to an indian context and i find the women left with the bad deal.
