shradha yes the same show was at 11 hence they were quite lenient with hte bold scenes......and it was really bold,,,,,,,,plus as opti said the leads had amazing chemistry which made us hooked ..........

i belong to the era of doordarshan and early cable revolution and cult shows like hum log, tamasnukkad,yeh jo hai zindagi ,sailaab,koshish ..........some of the best shows before saas bahu saga hit tv.............thos ewe re truly the golden days of television with briliant shows top notch performances and gripping plot storylines...........

Sajani, tell me about it. The golden era is gone. I used to love show like Darpan, Yeh jo yai zindagi, Nukkad,Circus, Fauji etc. My hindi was far worse back then and yet I used to watch these shows. Now my brain has degenerated so much I am willing to put up with crap just to see some amazing chem between two good looking people! So demented. Feel really ashamed of myself.

Sun: Actually some of the DD shows were very good...while the production values may have been poor, the writing was exemplary...there used to be a show called Kashish and a show called Kashmkash on DD2...both of which I loved to bits...I remember watching Swabhimaan and Shanti right after school ...

Even the early cable shows like Tara, banegi apni baat etc etc were quite progressive and interesting...by the time KSKBT started I was busy with school and competitive exams...after that I have been in and out of hostels for almost 7-8 years and lost interest in TV,.....

@opti ..you have noted down some of my favorite shows........i soo miss them and in between when saas bahu saga hit tv..i lost interest but as you said my chocie degenerated just to watch chemistry between two people...........u remember air hostess with kitu gidwani in it.....even that was good.....

@shradha.........eary cable days were very good with tara,banegi apni baat,koshish,alpviraam........i too used to watch kashmakash and then shanti right after school

when kyunki hit tv ..i left tv completely and was busy with studies then got hooked to jodis their chemistry at prime time......

production value was not good but the plot and acting just made up for it........

coming to geet...........i am giving this show one more week to pull up their socks ,get back a story and develop plots..........
