Geet's characterization...let's see if this makes any sense as I have not thought through the details of my Geet character analysis fully.

Geet, as sketched, does not strike me as impulsive or spontaneous. Yeah...every so often, like at the discotheque, her heart rules her head...but that is more the exception than the rule. Keeping that in mind, a previous example of character inconsistency that bugged me like crazy was Geet's repeated questioning of the engagement.

One of the scenes that I liked a lot was Geet & Maan by the window in the outhouse bedroom just before the trip to Manali. Remember that? Now...that was quintessential Geet as I think her character is. She said what was in her heart when she was ready and not a second before. For her character to say what she did that day, she had to be convinced of where she stood in Maan's life and vice-versa. That scene was impactful because she was had taken her time and let her heart take the leap of faith and believe once again. Then...right after that was that flare-up in Manali before the RTM sequence where the writers had her back to the fake engagement crap. Inconsistent characterization to me. Geet's character had evolved to feel comfortable enough to share her feelings...and in the next second she was back to what she had been saying all along.

Does this make sense? 😆

@praju..hope it is the skeleton in skirts 😆..i have been waiitng for maan ka samaan with an aarti ki thaali for past 3 months now.....she better come ....me not going to buy anymore fresh flowers to barsao on her now😆

for the story to move forward..either geet has to stay put in outhouse or has to shift base to the mansion...they got back NT to the mansion as well.....now that all the players are scatttered on the board.....they just need a bit of arranging and rearranging.........i feel bad for meera........she is back to being the woh as pati and patni will have to share the same roof......dev is not going to let NT stay alone in the mansion and dadi will want ehr khaandaan ka izzat to lauto......

was she not supposed to fly off to paris.......🤔

@anu...shubh shubh bolo...............if something happens to dadi to it will be disastrous .......

but today i feel the way the showed geet's pain was understandable

except the part where she was shown keen to pack her clothes.............

forget abt all the tukkas......enjoy the show as it comes..........

the more we expect the more we get disappointed

The evolution of Geet from the girl who left HSP to the one who stood at that window sharing her feelings was long and deep. People do not make such a transition and then jump back the very next day. Such evolutions are life changing and not on the surface. This sort of inconsistency continues and is very frustrating for me. Here is the lead character of the show and the writers do not seem to want to pay any attention to detailing it properly.

@anu ..when did jyo said that it will be a major turn of events..........i hope dev is murdered ..as such he is of no use at all.........and if NT murders dev,pins it on meera..she will get the sympathy vote from dadi as the widow and meera out of the way too............
