Here's another piece of symbolism:

The file Geet was handing to Maan was red - Red the symbol of love.

He was about to take it from her but dropped it - Maan was on the verge of giving up on their relationship.

Both bend down to pick it and bump their heads against each other - Both Maan and Geet hurt each other in their way back to each other.

Maan holds Geet's hand - Maan realises that nothing is more important to him than Geet. They will pick up the file (their love) together.
