Read some interesting piece of news today. Star's long running and popular show Bidai is coming to an end today even though trps are still high. I believe breaking from tradition they are ending it while the going is still good rather than wait from things to turn bad because they want people to wonder 'why' and not 'why not'. They want to leave people with fond memories of the characters they have got emotionally attached to. Now that is a first, the channel putting viewer's interest before its own to make more money. Hope this is a new trend and they end this show when they run out of plots instead of flogging it till it dies and leaves a bitter taste in our mouths. I don't mind not seeing my favourite jodi rather than see them reduced to dimwits or characterless or both.
