A second chance to build Geet's character ?

Long time back , when Geet had come to the city and joined Khurana constructions , I had thought that she would now learn bit by bit the ways of the work world and strengthen herself with education, qualifications , experience , and become strong enough to counter Dev and her family and take her revenge very proudly , in a dignified manner , through her own strength.... Ofcourse side by side also falling in love slowly with Maan ..and he with her ...thus building the beautiful lovestory parallely, giving us our lovely Maneet..

So what do you think, will they rebuild Geet's character this time ? And show her as actually getting strong by herself ?

I agree whole-heartedly with you.... of course, we all love our Maaneet moments, but the serial is named "Geet", so she should be a strong character with independant spirit and be the fighter that she started out to be when she arrived in Delhi. I want her taking decisions on a professional level, I also want her to live on her own, without staying here,there, everywhere with other characters. I want her to deal with the media on her own also. I want her to go out have dinner with her friends- Adi, Pinky,Meera. I want to see her cooking in her own kitchen, resting in her own room ( and not being a nanny for Yash's niece,nephew ..... that would be soo boring!)

And then Maan can walk in and see what she is like as a person without him around her all the time. Some space and time apart would do their relationship a lot of good and bring some reality into the serial also.

Maan should no longer be her life support but her life partner and companion. This can also make their bond to be based more on love and little less on favours and gratitude.

@VJ..... awesome post...after seeing friday's episode... i was soo happy to finally be able to see the geet who wanted to be strong to face the world by herself for her unborn baby and herself. finali backk.. she totali rocked and even though am a die hard maaneet fan i still want cvs to show geet's character really strong.. and after this little separation i hope it brings them closer together but wiz geet being a stronger

I agree with you completely. I want to see a strong and confident Geet who can survive without the support of Mann. I want her to be a CEO rather than a nanny or sec😊
