'Geet' has flavors of 'Sabrina' movie

OMG!!!! I remember watching that movie like 6-7 years ago. love it and of course i only watched it for Harrison Ford (i know his way to old, but love his acting). Hmmm, the story does have a similar track, but it's complete different.

I ahve seen a small part of the movie...where she looks at the party from a tree top!! Isnt the same remade to Hindi as that Kajol, Akshay - Saif Ali Khan one?

yep, agree there are some similarities, watched the original sabrina with hepburn, new one with harrison, and watched dillagi with akshay, have to say i did not connect the two together but not that you mention it, there are definite connections between sabrina and Geet

You are correct. It has been copied as a bollywood movie as well with Kajol - I don't remember the name. saif looks very different - probably early 90's???

That bollywood movie name is Yeh Dillagi - i do find the similarities

This is a soft romantic movie with Harrison Ford (I know, probably the first of such roles he played and I think its remade from Audrey Hepburn movie)

The plot basically has 2 brothers - filthy rich and live in a mansion with an outhouse. The chauffer and his beautiful daughter live in the outhouse. The younger brother is frivolous and immature and happens to like chauffer's daughter. The elder one is mature, wise but very stern (like our Maan).

ANyways, the younger bro falls for the girl in outhouse and (I don't know why elder bro doesn't like it) - but elder brother decides to keep his bro away from her and decides to woo the girl himself to keep her away from younger bro. In the end, the elder bro falls for her but has a hard time admitting it - meanwhile the girl learns that the elder bro is faking it and is very hurt. The younger bro unites them. Very cute movie!!

Any one seen the movie..?? I agree Geet's story has betrayal by Dev and all that.. but the brotherly love and the girl in the outhouse does match up..
