Opti...the Maan-Geet interaction up to that point showed Maan taking complete liberties with Geet. Maan is used to being the center of everything in the lives of his women...e.g. Daadi...and now Geet. When Geet confessed in the conference room, it hit him like a ton of bricks that there was somebody else who impacted Geet...from an emotional standpoint. I have to go back and find my analysis for that episode...that comment was connected to the dialogues earlier in the scene...cannot recall that now.

Well even if we were to accept that Maan's words that he thought Geet was his was at the emotional level, it still does not explain why he refused to hear her out and why was he so angry for two full days. Had Geet not cornered him in that Conference room, he would have still been smarting in anger. Please explain this to me.

@JaveriaM - Bullseye!! RTM sequence he actually tells her that he could have taken their relationship to the next level but doe not because he wants her to be sure of her feelings. Screams experience!!

On the other hand if you think from Maan's POV - he probably had his share of girls swarming around him because of his money, position etc. Being the smart perceptive guy that he is, he probably was aware of it and kept a watchful eye about and did not trust any girl. This is also shown in his statement to Geet that she is different from all other girls he has seen - there is no pretence of any kind in her. But this is only after he is completely convinced he understands Geet.

Not necessarily Yasu. Many of our Indian men have a different yardstick for themselves and another for the women in their lives. Maan may be saintly but the story writer may not. So his warped idea of how women should be could have percolated into the character.

Opti...that was his shock. The guy was expecting to be told "I love you" and he got "I am pregnant". He had not connected any dots that were visible to him from the HSP days. So he had to go through some of the shock-anger and analysis before being ready to accept the reality. Unfortunately, the channel's editing skipped over the analysis part and all we were left with was the anger and shock to watch.
