But remember Maan said to Geet once "To tum mujhe aapni aadao se phasana chati ho..."

I think it shows more of a personal experience....to feel this strongly and become so cynical for a love his brother had is somewhat a wobbly idea.

I mean there are other women in his life too...for example Dadi who is not shown as weak....

Maybe Sameera did change his view on women in general because it looks more like a situation which Maan had faced directly.

Good point about Dadi.

On the other hand if you think from Maan's POV - he probably had his share of girls swarming around him because of his money, position etc. Being the smart perceptive guy that he is, he probably was aware of it and kept a watchful eye about and did not trust any girl. This is also shown in his statement to Geet that she is different from all other girls he has seen - there is no pretence of any kind in her. But this is only after he is completely convinced he understands Geet.

Not necessarily Yasu. Many of our Indian men have a different yardstick for themselves and another for the women in their lives. Maan may be saintly but the story writer may not. So his warped idea of how women should be could have percolated into the character.

Well if Geet wasn't pregnant then it would have been a whole new story altogether... coz if Geet felt guilty for having a boyfriend and needed to come clean... then obviously Maan would have had to do the same... because then Geet's guilt wouldn't have revolved around physical impurity...

I don't agree with Geet's mindset....giving your precious flower of virginity😉😆

makes you phsically impure?Even when you were duped by some blasted phsycopath (Read Dev)😉

If she needed to come clean then so did Maan....even if Sameera was a tiny inconsequential part of his life...the way he is shown...he would have told Geet.Again I am saying CV's are at fault here...it is but a loophole on there part if they show charcters with such paradoxical beliefs!

@Rolzz...I think that is the point that is clearly dividing the junta...

Those in the "Maan is innocent" camp think the foreplay is too rustic to indicate anything other than an observed knowledge of the birds and the bees.

Those in the "Maan is experienced" group, such as myself, feel that his moves, his confidence, the awareness of his effect on women and so much more indicates that he has been around the block.

@Yasu - actually Maan has been very broadminded about Geet's confession. His statement that "I thought you were only mine" was meant at an emotional level and not physical. He wished that she had not loved anyone before him where as Geet says that she had accepted her husband in her heart - I think this is what got under his skin.

And, Sameera may have been a mistake of his youth hence not real love but a very tough lesson learnt.

Well, it is hilarious that 66 pages have been devoted to discussing Maan's virginity or otherwise. Either way, I think Geet would only be too happy to have him.

i wud just like to say that, just because Maan said that he thought Geet belonged to him, does not mean he is a virgin. When he told Geet "i thought u were mine" he meant it in the emotional sense and not the physical. I highly doubt he was thinking of her virginity. you have to look at it in the context of what Geet was saying. She told him that she had accepted her husband with all her heart, just look at Maan's reaction and you will know that is what triggered him to say it.

@all: the "i thought u were mine" statement was totally on an emotional level........he was not referring to geet being a virgin or not

and the fact that maan is experienced does not necessarily mean he has done the deed.........it means that he has been to the limit and yet not done the deed if u get wot i mean 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
