Maan clearly mentions Sameera. He says, "What is happening to me. Why am I not able to separate Geet from me however much I try? But then, after Sameera left, it was easy for me to keep all women away from me. But why now fate is bringing Geet in front of me again and again".

To me this shows that Sam was not just a business partner or a childhood friend.

No Caco...i know abt that scene....Opti was talking abt a scene later on...i think around the engagement time when Maan tells Dev that Geet has changed him, taught him to live again after Sam...and I wasnt sure abt him mentioning Sam...that is what Im looking for..
