I think based on the interview of the writer of the show.....my take on the future is that....
Maan when he gets well will come to know abt Geet and will be upset with her for leaving him and for not trusting him. And then, he's going to HUNT her down....yes HUNT her down coz he'd be angry at her for running away (again) and give her a piece of his mind.....
He'll tell her that "tum apni purani aadaton pe aa gayi....problem aate hi bhagne ki etc etc"šš and she'll as usual get angry and give her take on the situation....and hence will begin the cute fightsš³š³ of Maneet that we adored from the beginning.....
