A friend of mine asked me this question:

Everyone is going ga-ga over GC as Maan in the Maaneet jodi. If at all Dhrashti gets replaced as Geet, would everyone still love Maaneet becoz of GC as Maan, or would it affect the fan following of Maaneet?

I felt that Maaneet would not be the same....the sizzling chemistry would be zero without either of them.

What do you guys think?

DD is perfect! I started watching the show bcaz of her- she is and will be Geet !!

the reason people r gunnin for gc is becoz most of the viewers r women of all age and they admire gc for the qualities he portray.not many men watch daily soap and if some does they dont get emotional involved much

the name of this daily soap is geet which means its a women oriented show butttttttttttt gc is getin more adulation then dd again mostly as its primely seen by women.

i am in no way sayin gc have not done justice to the character of maan .he is doin a fab job and dont think anybody else could have pulled it the way he have and in no way there is any actor who could play the role of maan other then him

in the same way dd have surprassed herself and have even surprised herself the way she have acted as geet.she sooooooo fab

in emotin all the emotions that she had to emote and i must say she have really grown as an actress.

i didnt even knew who gc was till he started workin in geet.

the quest. asked is will we fight if cvs at any point try 2 replace dd.

answer is yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

and people have been suceesful in doin so in other serial too.

there is no geet without geet and maan.period

DD is d soul of d show,,can't imagine geet without drashti aka geet. she is perfect...no one can take her place.

The show began before GC's entry, but the it took off after his entry and interaction with Geet. This past week and a half, we'd seen many viewers requesting to continue watching even if GC is not there. So what does that say abt DD being there.
