I think Guru is from Patna. Read it somewhere. He spent most of his life in various places because his father was in the army. I think his college education from Jabalpur. I think Drashti is a Gujarati. Could be wrong though. She is really beautiful even without makeup and has a vibrant and lovable personality. I like both Drashti and Geet equally. As far as Guru and Maan are concerned I think I like Maan more than Guru, though Guru is a sweet person in real life and a fantastic actor. Maan, the character, has that edge over the actor who plays him.

Guru has very limited vocabulary when he has to describe Drashti. He goes on and on about her masti. Wonder what masti she does on the sets. Her bubbliness reminds me of Kajol who is also equally bubbly. He admitted that when it comes to the scenes she is serious and does rehearsals with him before their shot. No wonder they are so tuned to each other and their chemistry is great. Practice does make perfect. I always feel that to be a good actor, you need to have an equally good co-star. Otherwise the scene would fall flat. Moreover a good actor can feed on the expressions of his/her co-star which then enable them to give their best. There would also be an element of competitiveness because they would not want the other to overshadow them So each would give his/her best. That way Guru and Dhrasti are perfect as Maan and Geet. The casting crew really made a coup here, the reason why the show is highly rated. It does have a good story and a great director but if the lead pair does not strike it good, even the best of screen plays can flop. So kudos to both Drashti and Guru for their consistently excellent performances.

They are the reason why I do not watch shows, and that is why I watch SGP regularly. 😆😆😆 The sight of vamps and bad men and their conspiracies make me say adios to shows within a week 😆😆😆 I cannot complain much here as it's kind of forced on the creatives.
