D- I gotta kinda disagree with you again. U need to see beyond the PM and remember the story. You also need to comprehend what you have researched.

You have the stats. But, I heard and saw the scars. have guided women through flashbaks. Its easy for us to sit on our SoapBox and say Geet should tell Maan all because he expects the truth. Truth? It ain't that easy! That she told him as much as she did about her past is COURAGEOUS.

Few who blather here or on IF realize it. Those who have lived it or worked with traumatized and victimized women get it. So, kudos to Geet for telling Maan her truth in the first place, for gathering the courage to move forward with him, to have faith in future again. Yes. He's done a lot for her. But, faith for someone like it is a commodity that requires immense self courage. Comprehension that not everyman is dev. It requires reinforcement, counselling, and a thousand reiterations and still the shards remain and return as flashbak when a woman least expects it.

As for Story & Cinematic Purposes, you need to understand the fundamentals of Geet's character. She grasps the importance of Truth to Maan and so she tried to immediately tell him the truth today. But, I want everyone to reflect on the one promise she made him = (1) To place him first above her past. She knows how much he loves his family and her and what justice will cost him. So, she will naturally try to protect him. Not because she is being sacrificing and mahaan, but because she is selfish! She loves him and cannot bear to see him distressed knowing she is the cause of it. Her choice will take enormous courage, so please don't diss it. Try for a moment to understand it. We can look at it from a clear perspective but, she is entangled and mired to the depth of her soul in it. Caught between love and "justice". Also, Dev is her offender and she is entitled to devise her owns means of justice if she so opts. She does not need Maan to dish it for her though that may also happen later. Its her battle - her honor that was besmirched.

In terms of pattern of behavior and arcs. The Arc always is Maan inspiring her. He will have to do so again. Love will tie her tongue and it is Maan's duty to descipher silence and read her eyes . There was a time in their lives when he did not want to hear her or her story. Then slowly he got used to her chatter. Her silence he cannot take. Its upsets him and drives him to problem solve and demand "bolo na, Geet". Its become a pattern that will surely be continued.

As for Union of Souls. That does not mean there are no misuderstanding ever or no room for error. It should mean that they will be forever together and catch each when the other one falters. That is the true foundation of any marriage. Faith in Forever. Truth is most necessary, but sometimes the "truth" gets obscured and needs discovery... and that will most likely happen here.

D & Ann: About MSK.... Dude admitted it to Dev today...after years of unhappiness, he's finally happy.
