MY analyis for the day

Hello all..MONDAY today..i know after 71:30 hrs we meet
again..

I meant GEET and viewers and what do we get…A Heart attack
no it was not MINI this time it was huge one it took me 45 min to pacify myself
after that..

I still don't know what I will write..I am still half
dreading the future..

IF the Cvs gonna show us Typical BT stuff where geet doesn't
tell him the truth and he finds out and then some stupid MU..i am sorry I am
not watching GEET for that..

GEET stands up for truth..and I want her to go tell her
fianc everything..Yes even after Maan tells her"Dev mera bhai hai.."

She has to remember for him the meaning of love is "Truth
and belief" so only if she gives him that will she get her "zindagi bhar ka
saath.."

I am not buying anything less than that …She has to stand up
and face whatever comes her way..she did it against her family and I know she
has a tougher choice here…she has to choose between her love and her past. She
has to either decide to lie and save MAAN from pain and lie again to him.. but
here she will have to leave behind someone who has stood by her all along,
someone who is more important to her today than herself...BUT this is the test
for him too..

He has to choose between his lady love or his brother who
deceived his love..The brother who gave pain to an innocent girl, destroyed her
life just for sake of money. Will MAAN be able to stand up against his own
family to punish them.IF Cvs don't change the character sketch of MAAN I am
100% sure he can and fight against all odds for GEET..

Yes DEV needs all the punishment even after the so called
remorse he is going through..Oh a bit of guilt and he is forgiven…can he make
GEET go back to her family, can he make her that innocent girl he left at the
airport..can he make her that girl who lived for her family surrounded by
people and here she is all alone today..

Geet is a quandary…I can well imagine what she must be going
through. The most beautiful day of her life suddenly turned into a day of
miseries.First she meets Dev and then MAAN decides to tell her DEV is his
brother.

I am not against GEET even for a second but I would like her
to remember his reaction to the truth she hid last time.. She has to be the one
to tell him That dev was the culprit...Any body else in the series will not
only spoil the series but also GEET's characterization. GEET is the one who
sticks to truth as well her fianc does but now its time for GEET..

I am not saying send her tom or even on wed but eventually
build it up slowly and let maan also realize that there is something troubling
her and when she does confess please this time show his self talks last time it
was so convinetly edited out..this time pls don't do that..FRI epi that is sept
17^th took me half an hour to understand what was happening..

Now to the epi..i am not dissecting it..I have already
written a bhashan on top so this is so just gonna be pointers to various
people..

Miss dhillion: Pls mam no more sirs…They are gonna get
married..pls it sounds funny..see if we hadn't heard her calling him MAAN before
we could have understood that she had a
problem but now its becoming too much..BUT rest of the dialogues were
fab..really

Nissar: doodle will have loads today to say but from me Remember
one thing if we don't have the confession from geet then retitle the show..

Drishti: u made me cry today..the way geet walked thru hall
without realisng anything..It was just out of the world..

GC: AH maan was seventh planet today wasn't he..i could feel
those vibes off MSK sitting miles away..thanks to u for that..

Now just one scene I wanna talk abt..

Where geet is walking thru the hall after she meets geet..

She walks the entire distance but as soon as she hears maan
she stops nothing else registers in her mind except him..wow I just loved
this..and this is where I cried..

And then the way she wipes off her tears so that he wont
come to know anything..AHH she is worried abt him..didnt I say that he is more
important to her than her own self now..

And then in the room he says "ab mujhe pata hai tumhe kaise
paas laaon..tumhe dhoondna chod do aur tum bechain ho kar khud he mere paas aa
joage.."

I loved it..and then the entire geet and maan convo abt dev…

Geet is crying but she is not facing him..she doent want him
to see wht she is going thru..

Loved this bit of the show..

That's all from me..

Rating: 9/10: if I could see a bit more expressions from DEV
I would have given it ten..

Loved DD. She was absolutely outstanding today! 👏

BIG time problems with the dialogues given to Maan when Geet tells him she met Dev! W*H was that!!! 😡

Detailed analysis after the poem.

My poem from the weekend for now! It is still valid based on today!

A good epic that wants to rake in the money,
Needs both heroes & villains in the story!
Would Romeo & Juliet be as sweet
If there weren't people who did not want them to meet?

This...Geet and Maan's story,
Is a tale written by destiny!
But to be truly epic, it needs a villain too
So, in comes Naintara (NT) and Dev, her 'jiggery poo'!

'Geet, you are my dream girl' Dev said,
To Canada I will take you after we are wed
Naintara?...oh...she's just my Bhabhi!
So let's marry and make ourselves a baby!

Dev then dumps Geet in old-fashioned movie type villainy,
Cause he is actually wedded to NT and only wanted the money!
Being pregnant, Geet then leaves her blood thirsty family,
A new life for her baby she seeks but meeting Maan was meant to be!

This was followed by some good storytelling!
A magic taveez, duppattas, rain and hugging,
Conference rooms, dargahs, discos and dancing!
As viewers, all we could say was...keep it coming!

Then...like all good tales, this story needed a confrontation
So what did we have, NT & Dev back in contention?
Still, logically speaking, there had to be a confession
Before Geet could meet Dev and teach him a lesson!

So, the writers brought in Pari & the Demellos
To give Geet & Maan the courage to say their 'I love you's'!
Here, it was right, dear writers, to make Geet first reveal,
She was a mom-to-be, even if it made Maan angrily leave!

Maan pushing Geet away and feeling betrayed,
Did not stop our Kudi from chasing him without delay!
Then there was that filmy railway station scene,
'I want to live your life Geet' said Maan and went down on his knees!

Hallelujah said the den, our lovebirds are almost one!
We will see some loving by the fire, maybe even some consummation!
But despite the moon witnessing and Maan professing,
Geet thinks the engagement is fake...and keeps on leaving!

What the heck was that, we were left asking?
Is the Kudi mad or was it the channel's editing?
Geet and Maan are just characters, of you...the writers making!
Your vision needed to be clear not leave us questioning!

Geet's strong character sketch has her losing memory,
Yeah, the Munda is hot, but writers, where is your story?
Morchas, actor demands,TRPs and the editing controversy,
Are becoming more interesting than Geet's moment of glory!

With the character's depiction changing and bloopers appearing,
I am left asking...why is some basic story consistency lacking?
Why...why do you succumb and give in,
To the TRP game that only leads to temporary gains!

Moving on...the final confession was a thing of beauty,
But the unused tent spoiled the party!
Writers, you built the story up to achieve this momentous peak,
Yet...instead of nurturing it, it was cut short without any love speak!

Now suddenly we are rushing towards a confrontation,
Why, again I ask, this hurry...was there no consideration?
This is a series, not a movie, may I remind you,
There is the luxury of time, to take it slow!

I do want to understand, so please explain,
The purpose of introducing cameo roles time and again?
We get no time to understand or relate to their characters,
Before the next is introduced, ostensibly to take the story further?

Now...let's talk about Dev...the villain...the character with no spine,
Portrayed by an actor who wants all the lines?
But, with just one expression in his kitty,
Watching him turns my life in to a misery!

Geet was envisioned as strong and Maan arrogant,
Dev cowardly and Naintara belligerent!
Remember when you wrote your screenplay?
Were these not the characters that you hoped would get us to watch...and stay?

I don't want to be a fool, CVS writers, for believing
That you may actually know what you are doing!
So...please...please prove me right,
By focusing on your core story again!

Your story is what drew me and millions of others
Every weekday for the past half year!
If you let your actors or channel dictate terms,
You will be watching, what could have been a masterpiece, all alone!

This was a pretty decent episode for me. Not outstanding…but good!

Let's break down some key portions shall we?

Tum Kho Khush Dekhkar…Mera Dukh Bad Gaya:

The episode started exactly where the last one ended with Dev coming towards the gazebo where Geet & Maan were standing. Now…this is what continuity is all about! Why is that such a hard thing to do on a consistent basis? But that is also where my joy with the scene ended. Maan, who up to now has not said much more than "Abhi nahi Dev" type dialogues to his brother, suddenly goes in to this whole spiel about how happy he is etc. Maan's character said more to Dev in one episode than he has in weeks of living under the same roof! The conversation was also way more insightful than the relationship between Maan & Dev has been shown as. If Maan had said these words to Dadima or somebody closer, it would make sense. But here he is shown opening his heart to a brother he barely talks to. That said the only reason this scene worked for me was that it gave Dev an indication of Geet's place in Maan's life and started to establish that the past held no meaning for both Geet & Maan. Logical from a storyline/character development standpoint but screenplay was not consistent with the inter-character dynamic that has been established so far.

My second major problem with this sequence was Geet hanging around to eavesdrop? That is not part of what her character's make-up at all. Did you have her stick around so she could hear Maan's "Geet has changed my life" speech? At this point in the story, Geet's state of mind and Maan's importance in her life is so well established that no logical viewer will question why she will choose to hide Dev's role in her life from Maan for the sake of his happiness. Viewers may not like it, but it is a foregone conclusion especially after the story had her hide her knowledge of the Canada number that Maan found last week.

Main Teri Dushman, Dushman Tu Mera:

What can I say about one of the best sequences of GHSP…simply outstanding! Drashti…you were an absolute treat to watch. The expression of happiness morphing in to shock was brilliantly done.

Less said about Abhinav's acting the better! No expressions…none!

Kehna Hai Kehna Hai, Aaj Tumse Yeh Pehli Baath:

This sequence started well with Geet walking around in a shock. The previous scene was so forceful that I felt Geet's thoughts here should have been limited to "Dev…yahan?" and nothing more. When in shock, the mind does not process anything…nothing…so showing Geet trying to analyze Dev's presence in the Khurana mansion immediately was not needed.

It was also a wonderful touch to show Geet getting aware of where she was when she hears Maan's name being mentioned by Dadima's kitty party friends! But…yes, there is a but…in her thoughts she says 'Maan' but then verbally she says 'Maan Sir'. This has to stop. The groW*H in the Geet – Maan relationship is not reflected when Geet constantly refers to Maan as 'Maan Sir'. It no longer even seems like a mark of respect…just of bad writing!

So far so good…then it starts to go downhill!

So Adi, Tasha & Pinky joking about Maan is all fine and dandy but Maan's conversation with them was completely out of character and over the top! If you wanted to show Maan changing, it could have been accomplished with something as simple as Maan overhearing Adi's dialogue and reacting with a slight smile! Change does not have to be so "in your face" to be impactful…think subtle dear writers…less is more!

Moving on to my biggest peeve of today, Geet & Maan's conversation in Maan's room! To start with, it was brilliant to have Geet go to Maan immediately and tell him she had just seen Dev. From a current and future story/screenplay standpoint…absolutely fantastic! Ignoring the initial amorous Maan, the real conversation started with Maan saying "Kya hua Geet"…spot on dialogue and a subtle expression of Maan's character's realization that something untoward is going on with Geet. Right up to the point Geet mentions Dev's name, Maan's expressions reflect his understanding that not all is right with Geet. When he hears Dev's name, his expression relaxes. This is normal and understandable. The dialogues however make no sense. As an example…Maan immediately jumps in with "Woh mera chotta bhai hai". Now…I can only assume he is explaining who Dev is to Geet as he knows she does not know that. If that is the case, would he not wonder why she looked upset mentioning Dev's name? He then continues with dialogues about Dev's mischievous nature which was unnecessary at this point. Alternatively, Maan could have been shown acknowledging that Dev was his brother, asking Geet again what happened and then being interrupted by noises outside the room! That would have been more logical and in character for Maan.

Lastly, Adi & team laughing outside Maan's room was again way over the top and unnecessary.

Closing notes:

Drashti was simply outstanding today.
Abhinav's single expression acting needs to change and soon.
Character consistency for Maan was sadly lacking today.
Dialogue continuation was missing today.

Pre-script:

1. Natural disasters, ill-health, accidents and other unplanned shocks of life never come with advance notice. That's why we should always plan for de unexpected. More importantly, its how we react to these disasters that define our character. Do we bow? Do we RISE? Do we let it break and bend us? Do we stand our ground and fight for watever is right?

2. I keep saying that the Geet Team is logical to a fault. Editing though they may SUKK at. This was a perfect epi from the logic perspective.

(1) Dev got excuse to not tell Maan the truth

(2) Dev-Geet confrontation happened and she got the satisfaction of slapping him;

(3) Geet got to run to her bastion of safety (Maan)... clearly depicting intent to tell him full truth as he's her man.

(4) Maan innocently declaring Dev is his brother, that he's 2nd to Daadi in Maan's life, and he always forgives Dev's shararat is sure to make GEET now pause.

(5) Her pausing to compose both before she drags him into the room, her back to him for most of the convo, and her leaving after learning Maan bro jaap.... Does not break Maan's perfect brahmn (illlusion);

(6) Re-confrontation btwn Dev & Geet this time with Meera's guidance sets stage for Geet's silence beautifully.

So, it was a Logically Near Perfect Epi

Drunk on Love

MSK is drunk today on moonlight mangni magic. His happiness is palpable and he cannot hide his happy halo not even infront of his employees. His guard is entirely down and he is not looking for danger or trouble. After years of unhappiness, he finally found reason to smile and he's enjoying that. Totally obvlious

Shunk always spreads Funk!

Skunks are these squirrel like creatures (black n white though) that spray funk (nasty nasty smell takes days to wash off). Dev is skunk, so it was a given he would spread funk today. He's got impecable sense of self preservation just like de skunk. That's y he didn't share his sob story with bro who would have drowned him in a vat of farmaldahyde! Instead he stayed rooted, so he could spray his "funk" on poor Geet. Coward that he is he still does not want to tell MAAN. Beimaan! Instead he's gonna try and manipulate Geet. And Meira feels sorry for him becoz he might have to leave home - Wataever GO! Be HOMELESS! Start from Scratch and do real Penance not Spectable Speckling!

Geet - From Glow to Spunk!

Over the weekend we had some engaging discourse started by Bridgette about Geet and how she should react to the truth on the Geet FB page. After much thought. I concluded that Geet's silences speak volumes in a decible audible only to Maan. Wat?! Geet is the more talkative one... then Y is Maan's favorite dialogue "bolo, na Geet?". Because when it comes to serious stuff her silences are telling. Fortunately, Maan can does eventually read them. Her silences eat at him until he unravels/discovers the reasons for it. It began after she gifted him flowers and he made her throw them. She gave him the silent treatment and since then he's valued her voice in his life. More recent examples of this is when Maan corners Geet in the outhouse after Daadi declares the engagement and she quiets him by asking him to read what her eyes say. Again Geet's eyes give away her discomfort about the "fake" engagement to Maan afer the Balle Balle dance.

Coming to today, Geet glow got sprayed with Dev ka funk. But, she did not lose her spunk. She gave him the chaatah he soooooo deserved and ran off... ran off to tell her Maan. That took SPUNK. And she will exhibit even more off it tomorrow. WATCH. As for telling Maan the truth. I am not sure she will do that - as she would want to understandable protect him - but, eventually Maan will read her eyes.

Today's episode was expected to b a high-voltage drama with the most awaited Dev-Geet confrontation finally happening and it did meet the expectation as the confrontation was dhamakedaar with Geet giving the much deserve slap on Dev's face👍🏼...it would hv been much more effective if Abhinav had shown some more variety in his expressions😊

Let me start my analysis with Drashti today😳 ...fantabulous acting by her in the confrontation scene👏👏👏👏👏...the girl expressed her happiness , dreams, shock, trauma, emotions, all at once flawlessly..such gamut of expressions on her face..aaah..my heart goes out to Geet today🤗....

Just imagine the girl who is putting sajna ke naam ki mehndi on her hands and dreaming of her blissful life with her man while playing the hide and seek game all of a sudden confronts with the wolf who ruined her past😡 and that too on the same day of her engagement....what can b more painful than this😭😭...

But I admire her courage for that tight slap and also the way she ran all the way to Maan to tell him about Dev👏👏👏..this shows she is not afraid of that fox anymore😡👏...outstanding act by Drashti👏👏👏..Also now Viewers cannot blame Geet for hiding the truth to Maan because she did give out the culprit's name to Maan today👍🏼...She went into a shell only when she learnt that Maan-Dev r brothers ...and thats the second shock which she got today😭...All I can say is Geet needs time to process through her pain now before she is not in a position to tell the truth to Maan..but after watching Geet's reaction today,I can bet that Geet will never forgive Dev without punishing him...The pain ,hatred, anger and revenge in her eyes was quite evident today👏

Today I will also defend Maan a bit for his broad smile and over-friendly attitude in front of his employess and not able to read Geet's eyes which were the two important issues being discussed in the Den😆😳..

I think Munda was just overjoyed with all the happiness thats suddenly coming his way 😳...its his engagement day..finally the smile and happiness both r back in his life😃....so that happiness today was needed to b shown by MSK to the world I feel😳..also that smile on MSK's face sort of sends Geet back in a shell because now she will b thinking 100 times before telling the truth to Maan..she will remember that smile and happiness on his face and will not want to wipe it off his face with this harsh reality..so a sort of smart move by the CVs here regarding MSK's smile and overfriendly nature to justify Geet's future actions😉😆...but hold on this ain't forever..real MSK will b back soon and with a bang..So hv faith on Nisaar before jumping to conclusions😎

About MSK not reading her eyes..I feel he was too much overjoyed and blinded with the current happiness in his life😳..so he might not hv been looking into her eyes too much deeply today..Also most of the time Geet was turning her back against him and MSK was too much engrossed in his upcoming happinees to notice the complexity of Geet's eyes today..Moments ago she was smiling and content with life..so MSK might hv not expected the sudden change in her eyes....the reason why he din't look into her eyes today😳....he might do that tomorrow when Geet might feel uncomfortable in that jewellery scene as per the precap...I can bet soon MSK will start reading her eyes😳..so lets hv some patience...😃..also remember the song in the precap which says "Aankhen teri".,..song has a purpose because the word "eyes" is used in the song😎...so stop complaining about why MSK can't read her eyes😆..everything can't happen in just one episode or else serial will end this week itself😉😆

Main point to b noted ..MSK has a past😈..Today while talking to Dev,he clearly mentions how happiness has AGAIN returned back in his life with Geet and how both himself and Geet r prepared to move ahead in life leaving behind our PAST😉;This clearly indicates that his bitterness was due to his past but mayb his past is not as big as Geet's past which needs to b told to Geet unlike Geet's past which was necessary to b told because their present and future was dependent on that past in the form of their baby😳;But it definitely gives us an indication that MSK too had a past which might b introduced in the picture soon😉

Now comes my favourite donkey ride Devdas😆...Abhi beta today u had a chance to steal the show😃..but what u did ??😆...watch the episode yourself u will come to know how u were simply overshadowed by Drashti's mindblowing act in the confrontation scene😊...and Dev as a character is just spineless and still a confused selfish soul who can only think about his own self and can do any sort of emotional or violent atyaachar to save his own life😡...Dev u not just deserve that slap but also few kicks which I m sure will soon come your way via MSK😡..so stop doing that emotional atyaachar on Geet😡...And that kaala dhabba on Dev's face was apt👍🏼😆;It might b Geet's mehndi but it looked like a black spot on his face and thats what he is ..a big black spot in Maaneet's life

About Dev's saintly act..I think its a temporary one🤔;For now he is guilty but the question is what will b his reaction when he will find out that Geet is carrying the heir of this family and that baby will b known as Maan's child in the future ??😈..Will he still continue to b a saint ??😉;Right now Dev feels that Maan knows nothing about Geet's past...well I will say he is definitely batting in the wrong wicket here😆 because Maan knows everything except the name😃;So when Dev will find out that Geet already said half truth to Maan,what will b his reaction ??will he still continue to b a saint ??😉;He is giving the impression that he wants MSK's happiness...I would like to see whether he continues to think in the same way even after baby truth comes out in the open incase Geet faints after the engagement😃...In case CVs still show him like a saint,I will say CVs hv lost the plot because without any evil character in the show,curiosity factor will die down...Dev-NT together needs to b the evil forces here against Maaneet to make the story more interesting and gripping😊..

Today I hv no doubts that MSK will give the most brutal punishment to Dev once he finds out the truth about him;Because as per my serial experience whenever the male lead in the present gives some strong dialogue in favour of the culprit,then in the coming future he will contradict the same dialogue against the same culprit😉;Today when Maan talks about Dev to Geet and tells her that how after Dadi its Dev who is most important person in his life and how he keeps forgiving his little mischiefs that he commits,Geet goes into a fix because she feels that either Maan might end up forgiving this act of Dev as well because of his love for his brother or he might end up giving Dev some severe punishment and in this process he might end up hurting himself as well;In both cases it will b Geet's defeat here..the reason why she might keep quiet😭;But MSK will contradict this dialogue of his in the coming future..mark my words;He said he has always forgiven Dev's mischiefs..but what Dev did with Geet was neither a mischief nor a mistake...it was a Sin for which one needs to b punished and not forgiven😊..and thats where we might see the brutal side of MSK here..thus proving that Geet in the future will b the most important person in his life and he can go to any extremes for her😳;And this is what might turn Dev into a devil😈;If CVs can take this track in this direction..its going to b a treat for the viewers😳...

Now the most important aspect here is Geet's reaction..her dilemma...her actions from here on...Geet's character consistency does not depend on whether she tells about Dev to Maan or not..it depends on how well she justifies her action for either telling it to Maan or hiding it from Maan...whichever route she chooses she needs to justify it to the viewers and then her character will remain consistent😳...She doesn't need to always spoonfeed everything to Maan na..she already told him the major truth which is required in a relationship in terms of trust...name of the culprit is not important here...So Geet can take her time to first come out of the initial shock and then whichever route she chooses,CVs need to show her proper self-talk which should make her character look strong and consistent and not like a typical sacrificial lady that we see in other soaps today....We as viewers want Geet to tell the truth to Maan because we r afraid of future misunderstandings..so somewhere we r selfish for our own reasons😉..but lets look from Geet's POV..is it so easy to just go and tell this big truth to Maan that its your brother who made me pregnent

..she will take time..she had to think from many perspectives here..she needs to see what will b the pros and cons after this truth is revealed to Maan..she knows Maan can go to any extremes for her..can she risk to put Maan's life and reputation under danger for her own justice..all these things should come in her mind and that will justify her future actions...when she keeps saying "why u r so nice" to Maan/..its because she looks at Maan like God now...she not only loves him but also worships him now(mayb thats one of the reasons she still uses Sir to address him🤔..even though CVs need to justify it now😡😆)..But thats where her dilemma will b more here...because she can't afford to take away the happiness and smile from his mouth by telling him this huge truth about Dev...but at the same time she cannot lie to her God as well😭...so its a very complicated situation for her now...CVs need to bring out this dilemma in her character so that we as viewers can understand her future actions and reactions😊...

Episode was a nail biting one...it took the story to a new dimension..so that way it was a good one with a logical flow..and also some smart moves by the CVs to show Geet's future dilemma👍🏼...

My Episode rating:8/10...Today I really had no issues with the episode in terms of dialogues as well as MSK's behaviour or Geet's reaction or even the editing👏..my only issue is Abhinav's thanda acting which somewhere left the confrontation scene look a bit cold...it was the slap effect and Drashti's brillaint performance which made the scene look worth watching again and again👏 otherwise from Abhinav's POV it was a damp squib👎🏼...the reason why I m cutting 2 points here only because I expected the actor here to shine more in this most important scene of the series when finally he had the opportunity to showcase his talent..but sadly he failed👎🏼...Abhinav I repeat again stick to negative roles..it will suit u😊
