Why the hell is Geet still saying "MAAN SIR"

What happened to Maan reading Geet's eyes!

DD rocked and how! She is the reason why I watch this show! Totally Love her! Loved her expressions! Loved the slap she gave Dev, priceless!

Dev Maan talk, how dare Dev change his mind all of a sudden, so he doesn't want to ruin Maan's happiness, but he is gonna kill Geet by being there. How can the creatives show Geet running into Dev's arms or even body...ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, just the thought of that makes me sick!

Munda Maan, hard to believe a guy like him wants to romance his kudi all the time, maybe he hasn't romanced in a while and is full on 😳😳Feel sorry for Geet when he actually romances her for real!😉

Office staff, 3 muskteers...oh so cute. Loved Adi talking about Maan's tewar, but more then that I loved Maan's come back, no matter what you have to listen to wife, ultimately she is the biggest boss! Here Maan is giving Geet full right on every thing and that's the way it should be. In the indian custom, ur wife is ur goddess as they say ur laxmi, so I truly loved this symbolism here! Good one creatives! A wife should be given that right and respect at all times.

Well, Maan did mention we both are moving from our past, fine it indicates he has a past with Sameera, now when will they reveal his past. Does he have a kid with this woman, this is something that is bothering me. Creatives can show this angle as they need to keep the story goin, if he has his own child, how can he give Geet's child the same love. Not sure here, but Im just thinking out loud.

Complains with today's episode!

She tells Maan not to touch, her mehendi will get spoiled, yet she spoiled it on the devils face. She ran to Maan's room, hand was clean...nothing there, no mehendi nothing, not even messed up mehendi! Creatives 😡

Maan not reading Kudi's eyes, how could he not know she was tensed, he fricken notices her quiteness when she doesn't speak for a second, she didnt notice tears in her eyes in the room!

Meera bhai, can I give her slap, how dare she 😡

Dev, what can I say about him, what a camelion, I hate this guy, I truly do! Why did he have to stalk Geet again and come from the back and say Geet, what does he have to say to her. Nothing he can do and say will bring her back to before marrying him. Nothing will justify her sadness, her cries, loosing her virginity, almost getting killed! Nothing!

I was lookin frwd fr 2days epi.....super excited 2 watch d story mvin frwd...n mus say dey din disappoint at all..infact it was 1 of dos vry gud epis wid brilliant performance ..gud gripping scenes .....n mre communication thru eyes n expressions rather den dialogues...👍🏼

Drashti ...brilliant acting....the girl expressed her happiness , dreams, shock, emotions, all flawlessly..her eyes spoke volumes...👍🏼...from happiness in dem wen wid maan...to a sudden pain..shock confusion aftr seeing Dev......superb.....👏

"babaji agar aapko Dev se aise milavana tha..toh mujhe maan sir se kyun milwaya....kyun khushiyon ki umeed dikhayi....."

all d time she took care dt d maan ke naam ki mehendi doesnt get spoiled...bt dt tight slap on Dev's face ws too gud....it vented out mre dn words cud.

My post begins with these lines 'coz the lady Geet's journey or every married women's journey begins like this"LIFETIME-PROMISES" When you are bonded in a marriage there are oaths taken to remind them their duties for each other....... But Dev Khurana played so well with not only with the women but also with a scared relationship which lasts forever......raising dreams of weight of play cards & shattering them with one blow!!!!!!

When you are on the route to start a new journey....... listening to praises of the man, who might not praise you when you are in front''.. but says your imporatnce in front of others your situation is like "aaj paao zameen pe nahi hai" but then bang u encounter your past who has ripped u apart with all the wounds which were healing to bleed again'.This what Geet went through seeing back the same man who promised so much to be left with nothing but wounds. There was slap with mehndi imprint on Dev's face which reminded me of the act of blackening the face.

One try was made by Gee........ she spoke about the man but to only be revealed with bitter truth...... that he is blood of the man she's gonna begin her journey with..... So she's at the moment shocked & in dilema..... as to where the almighty or destiny is taking her..... Here certainly human beings are like puppets who have their reins rested in Almight's hand.

All this time she faced Maan only when she said about Dev & eyes welled up.....rest time she faced away when she had tears rolling.......sometimes a human being can become oblivious to near & dear one's tears or read their eyes..... Maan was oblivious because according to him Geet & he are free from her past it doesn't matter to either one of them........... It certainly doesn't but now it will..... Because there is crime commited from own blood.

Maan said the second person her cares after Daadi is Dev. He said he does mistakes but get's scolded & is forgiven. Here there is a small message which might come later on...... May be Maan has taken care like a father. When we do good our parents pat or praise us..... but when we commit a mistake there is a punishment. Maan loves his dear ones but when there are mistakes done their will be punishment..... This is what either Geet knows or doesn't.On this will depend her decision to reveal the truth or hide for happiness of the man.

At this point of time am getting reminded of those women........ who are asked to re-marry the siblings of their husbands....... who have passed away/left them... What Geet is facing here is a crime.......... But the dilemma can be same right?? Correct me if am wrong. Because am only seeing a part where a women has to give her soul......to a man who was devar or jeth whatever..... Now the relationship level will also be different & so the meaning.

What's gonna happen in coming up or tomorrow's epi i don't know... What I know is want punishment for this Dev........ Be inspiration for the many Geet's so that they can start living again & seek justice for themselves......... There was one article about Geet serial & it's resemblance to the same being happen to one of the man's niece.

So CV's you started with a message give it to the audience & fullfill the duty of humanity plus contribution to the society.

P.S. I can't give gaalis to Dev or men like him IF band(stalkers ki dukaan) doosra meri vocabulary bekaar😆😆😆 but there is one dialogue of SRK in my name is KHAN where he gives the gaalis to mandira(kajol) hubby wahi saare Dev or Dev jaiseo ke naam*gaaliyaan*

P.P.S. Maan aaj kitna khush tha script mein clause hai kya jab sadness ki hawayein chale uske pehle MSK ko hasaoo & masti karne do.😆😆 It was good to see that man flying with open arms cut off with burden of past & relsihing those moments......blissful😳😳😳only to become later fully roasted

He reminded me of a line my cousin sis said one day "i have laughed today a lot see i will cry tommorrow".Life has it shares of moment "kabhi khushi.... kabhi gham... har pal saath hai hum😉😳😳

"Caustic Confrontation"

Yelloooo all my Friends, Devils, CVs, Star, Mr. Mirchandani and Nissar. Welcome to you all for a wonderful week. I hope India is good at the political front after all the verdicts that came last week. Well it's Monday again and for us US people its House day. Though I will miss most of the House epis due to India trip but its good to see how digitv have changed over the years and you can record your show and watch it at your own sweet time. Technology has changed our lives to the fullest. I just saw an article today on Social Networking here which really says that you can make out about a person completely by their status updates. So, all of you those who do random status updates just be careful on what to write on your status updates. Try to make sure that it should not disclose about your personality per se. Research says that "people might not be conscious of it, but at the very moment they have described themselves, you are giving an opportunity to anyone to create a mental picture of them". Also a word of caution for those who are on Facebook just remember not to comment on certain issues about anyone from your work as that may cost you your job too.

Now let us come to the epi. Well CVs I must say that it's a fantastic episode. I don't know about others but I definitely liked it. Drashti was brilliant today. I remember mentioning here some time back that Drashti have to do lots of homework just to do the confrontation scene and she needs ro be brilliant as this confrontation is the platform for her to prove her acting skills. The episode was logical but it had some flaws too which I will definitely address so that the CVs can correct themselves in the future epis. I must say that the Dev-Geet bumping was a brilliant move by the CVs. I wanted Dev to realize that Maan and Geet's relationship is based on "Truth" and that they know their PAST.

But before I start I need to talk about the "Parineeta Metaphor" here as I missed out on Friday because of my excitement for the India trip. Ok. I thank the CVs for completeing out my theory on Friday with the Mangalsutra part at the Gazebo. Thanks Lana for reminding me this. Yeah it exactly happens in Indian Wedding when the bride was being brought to the Mandap by her friends and family to the groom. Here also happened the same thing with Pinky bringing in Geet to the Gazebo when Maan had taken of the fake jewelry and put on the original one and tying the same as a Mangalsutra and putting on the maangtika as symbolic to sindoor. So, this was another eason why the CVs brought up t he fake issue during Maan's bhangra sequence and then closed the loop at the Gazebo with completing our "Parineeta Metaphor" theory. So, I hope all are confirmed though Lana had already mentioned this on Friday's analysis. The Moon and the Stars been wirnessing their holy matrimony was was not only in my "Paineeta Metaphor" theory but also described in the Parineeta Novel by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. There also Sekhar did exchange the garland with Lalita under the open sky with Mother Nature been blessing them. So, I loved the facts that CVs have really gone into details with the "Parineeta Metaphor" theory.

Today's epi started with the same spot. Yes, we already figured out that Dev will intrude their privacy. But then again I was happy to see exactly that Dev came to know that the relationship of Maan and Geet was based on truth and the fact that they both know about Geet's past. I really thank the CVs for doing this. Now this was enough reason for Dev to back off from telling Maan everything. Ok. So I was right about Maan having a past also. Of course there might have some reason why he used to live a lonely life and the best part is Dev comes to know that they both know the past but I think he also is sure that Maan is unaware of his deeds. Dev's self talks here just says that he is happy for Maan and doesn't want to ruin his happiness but don't you think that logically he should be clearing his stance with him??? Now is this Dev's concern for his bro or his coward cry deep within not to face Maan's agony??? I can never believe him after all he is the "Cold Blooded Rapist".

Now, Mr. Mirchandani as I had promised to you that I will talk about Dev's issue and I have already told you about how come you even think of giving Dev a second chance??? Now I will state some of the facts about Rape Cases that I have researched on this weekend to prove my point why do I not want Dev to be given a second before he is convicted and punished. I will talk about all the ground facts slowly in the coming analysis as I cannot cover in one analysis.

Before getting into the facts let me explain you again Mr. Mirchandani why I always insist on Dev being a "Cold Blooded rapist". In my eyes Dev is always a "Cold Blooded Rapist". I cannot call it a mistake it is a proper crime what he did. The marriage was real for Geet but it was fake for Dev. When he knew that the marriage was fake then how come he even thought of making love to Geet??? To me this act of Dev was a "Cold Blooded Rape" and the child out of this is definitely illicit. Even after that horrendous act Dev purposefully left her at the airport and was celebrating after his plan was fulfilled. All I can say his he has to own his crime and I loved the fact that you are thinking of sending him to prison. Yes. He belongs there as I have always said that the cell is booked for him and NT and even Pammi and Dev's Sister.

Here are some statistics that regarding Rape Crimes in India:-

1. 20,737 cases of Rape were reported in 2007 an increase of 7.2% from 2006. It has increased now.

2. 11% of the crimes against women involved rape

3. 18% in the rape of convictions by courts even though 68% of cases the rapists are unmasked.

4. 57.7 % were women targeted in the age group of 18 and 30.

5. In 92.5% of the cases, the offender was known to the victim (like Dev knew Geet)

6. Delhi is the highest in the Rape Sheet about 530 cases reported in a year.

A rape is always inhuman and it is planned with coldblooded precison, where psychological dominance is often preferred to brutal force. Sometimes that persuasion becomes easier when there is already a relationship of trust. A rape is rarely an impulsive act. The rapist takes advantage of the situation, thinking the victim cannot overpower him, either mentally or physically. This was happened actually with Geet as I said above that most rapist knew the victim in and out and the victim trusts him fully and there the assailant takes the advantage of.

Now I hope all of you know this example basically who stays in India what happened to this 17 yr. old girl who was raped by her 21 yr. old cousin in Ghaziabad who firt won her trust and then promised to marry her and then allegedly wooed her for over 7 months. Their making love might be consensual but it was indeed a "Cold Blooded Rape".

Director of Forensic Mental Health Associates has identified 3 kinds of rape:-

1. Anger
2. Power
3. Sadism

What Dev did to Geet was mostly Power which we can term as Husband Power. What we need to be worried here is more than Dev what Geet has gone through after that and if we leave these Rapists loose then what is the message we are giving to the society??? That the rapists can get a second chance without being convicted and punished???

Now let us check what goes through to those women who had gone through this horrendous act. Even Geet also had gone through the below facts. The scond wound. The shame. The flashback. The life of a rape victim can never be the same.

1. The Second Wound:- Most often hiding the crime becomes more important for the family than supporting the victim. Here the family of Geet told her to not only hide the fact about her marriage but also to abort the bay and we all know what she has gone through.

2. The Freeze:- In most cases, the victim freezes out of shock. This is also refered to as "passive resistance"; the absence of "fight or flight" against the perpetrator. Here if Maan would not have been with Geet then we couldn't have seen a stronger Geetw hat she is today. But Mr. Mirchnadani we need to remember that in real life there is no MSK with the victims and they only need to support them all by themselves.

3. The Flashback:- Most victims experience what is termed a "flashback" where they relive the agony of being raped, almost with the same intensity. We know how Geet relives the moment of shock even today whenever her past comes infront of her and we saw even today how shocked she was when Dev came infront of her.

4. Self Blame:- Some times victims blame themselves and they feel responsible for what has happened to them. They suffer from shame and self-blame.

5. Body Image Disorder:- "Body image disturbances" are commonly found in rape victims. They feel their bodies are impure. Some get a creepy feeling of worms crawling beneath their skins. This "dehumanization" is a difficult felling to handle for most of them. This is reason why remember in HP days when Maan used to touch even Geet's hand she used to tell him to stay away until now before she fell for him. This is also the reason why she said that she is impure in the time of declaration and where I said that impurity is not in virginity but it is in heart and soul.

The media too plays a crucial role here. By media I am not only talking about news reporting channels but me talking about daily soaps also where we can educate the women and also the men and also the laws behind these crimes. However, what gets no attention is the devastating psychological aftermath of rape, which can have life long consequences.

Now tell me Mr. Mirchandani after reading all the above facts do you really feel to give Dev a second chance or you want to send a message to all the victims and the people in India that justice can be done to these criminals??? Or you need some more facts to make you understand that what Dev did is actually a crime and he can never be given a second chance. I really need an answer and if I see that you are still thinking of giving Dev a second chance then I must say that you don't even understand the pain of those women who have suffered so much in reality. I will then have no answer for it. If I see that Dev is getting a second chance then I must accept that day to be a curse on my life I started watching this show and started writing an analysis on every episode.

Let us come to the tilte:- "Caustic Confrontation"

Let me come to the epi. quickly. Well that moment has arrived when Geet and Dev were supposed to meet. Now don't get me wrong I loved the slap but you know what??? I hated that Geet had to touch that criminal's face. If I would have been in her place God forbid, I would not even touch him even if that would mean to teach him a lesson. Why would I even touch his skin??? The thought of it only was making me mad. Anyway, there was another symbolism that Dev is the "Daag" on the life of Maan and Geet as I explained the same on Friday. After the slap it was proved that the daag has come in between their the life of Maan and Geet and then the mehndi was wiped off her palm. Now many term this as an "Apshagun". What Apshagun??? I don't think any apshagun thing exists in real life as I believe only in one thing that "Everything in life happens for a reason and happens for the best".

Whatever you say Drashti was brilliant today and Abhinav was equally bad today. I know he already knew that Geet is Maan's finacee so I cannot be a shock for him at all but he did an equally pathetic job on Friday. And now see how fantasctic Dhrashti performed in this scene. She was shocked, flabbergasted after seeing Dev. As if all hell broke lose when she saw him on her big day. The FBs were also too good in the scene.

Now many have raised an issue about Maan's behavior on how come he cannot read Geet's eyes. Only one issue I had is Maan should not have chatted with Adi and co. like that and I felt that it was so unMaan like where as the second time when all were eavesdropping about what Maan and Geet were talking I liked Maan there. He scolded them for eavesdropping but at the same time when they left he gave a sly smile. That was Maan like. So, don't spoil the character of Maan please CVs. Just be careful.

When Geet pulled Maan infront of the colleagues then Maan should have understood that somethings wrong with her or she is upset. Because knowing Geet he should have known that she would never do that atleast not pull him infront of the employees. Hence, if she is doing this act then he should have known that somethings wrong with her. I didn't realize that also might be the case that he is not in a position to understand as he is already in cloud 9.

Now, when Geet told him about Dev many said that why Maan couldn't read her eyes when he claims to do so. But, what I felt that if the name would not have been Dev then Maan would have immediately understood that Geet was talking about the criminal who ruined her life. It's not because Maan is on cloud 9 and that is why he couldn't read Geet's eyes but it's because she saw Dev. Before she even uttered Dev's name Maan gave a very questionable look when she said "I saw him" but the moment she said "Dev" then all the expressions was changed for Maan. Obviously in his wildest nightmares Maan couldn't even imagine that it's Dev who would ruin the life of his lady love.

Now, I have an issue here. When Maan said Dev is his bro then Geet was shocked and flabbergasted and then she took a step backwards and look at her eyes??? Those were as if popped out of the socket. Why the hell then Maan didn't understand??? He started talking about his bro but didn't even notice that Geet had tears in her eyes on this big day of their's???

I loved that Geet was strong when the Dev-Geet meeting happened. I also loved the fact that she gave Dev a piece of her mind but at the same time I don't want her to be the sacrificial being because he is Maan's brother. She needs to understand that there should be faith and trust and right between her and Maan as in any marital relationship. Now they are married in souls and let CVs not forget that. I just don't want her to hide this fact that Dev is the person who ruined her life from Maan and it is Maan's right upon her and their relationship to know everything even though how big the FACT is. Period.

Now, CVs I loved the fact that you actually played the game very nicely by Making Geet tell Maan about Dev so that in futre there cannot be any sort of misunderstanding between them. In future Maan will definitely connect the dots and then will figure out that Geet had already told him about Dev in the first place and he himself couldn't read her mind and can see that he will be so mentally tortured. This time Maan will not forgive Dev and that is what it implied today.

The bottom line is Geet and Maan have to face the problem together and not singlehandedly. Maan and Geet should realize it's not about "My Problem" but rather "Our Problem".

Even in real life it is all about "WE" and not me and you. The CVs need to understand that what ever the problem that Geet had faced before Maan had entered her life was entirely her's. But after Maan had entered her life they are not individuals anymore rather they are ONE. So, after the Parineeta Metaphor theory all the problems should be faced by both of them together till death.

The gazebo scene was good and I love the fact the whenever Geet talks to God she gets the answer somehow. I wish I could have got the answers like this all the time by talking to God. Anyway this is a series and in cinematography everything is possible and not in real life.

Now, hopefully Geet will not forgive Dev and send him to prison and if she does forgive then I will leave writing analysis on this hopeless and hepless series.

Precap:- Maan making Geet ready for the engagement??? Well CVs THANK YOU. I loved the song btw. "Aankhen Teri" was for a purpose as Maan always claims to read her eyes and that in Pee Loon segment also he kisses her eyes just to kiss her heart. Similarly it's always her eyes that are important to Maan. But it also has another reason as today Maan couldn't read her eyes and this was the continuation from the "Confetti Epi" where Geet claimed that how come he couldn't read her eyes and that left Maan completely flabbergasted. Today that was the continuation of the same but don't you worry everything will be fine and the day will come where Maan can read her eyes and that day he will connect the dots on his own and become the old MSK.

Overall a BRILLIANT Episode.

okay there were a few things i did like.......

maan's dialogue in the beginning ... and their luka chupi khelna 😳
AND THAT SLAP......best part of tonight's episode...kya chaata mara!!!!! wah wah!!!!

DD's acting was mindblowing.....perfect expressions.....totally worthy of a round of applause....👏

but apart from that everything was just blah....👎🏼

DID NOT like maan's attitude towards the office staff....are yaar itna friendly kyun all of a sudden.... where is all that attitude???? so many things cant change in a day....😕

Finally the landmark episode is here where the confrontation takes place between Dev & Geet! After the declaration of love maybe this was another episode which was so important in the story & context. I have to say Drashti today u stole the show!! U were fabulous! Actually only u stood out for me in the entire episode & this time I didn't notice anything about dialogs, camera, direction, concept & other actors. So DD, fabulous job & expressions, u deserve accolades! 👏👏👏

The scene starts of from where they left on Friday, always a good sign! And in 'be-daag' relationship finally the 'daag' walks in breaking the trance, the moment! And as expected Geet escaped from there. Oh before I forget I am 100% sure Nissar & CV's on Friday followed the Parineeta story of Sarat Chandra Chatterjee & what we saw were just 2 jewellery on purpose, necklace symbolised the 'mangalsutra' or the garland & the 'maang tika' symbolised the sindoor! I will elaborate more on this later. The 2 major ingredient to complete a Hindu marriage which took place under that lighted gazebo signifying 'mandap' & they took blessings from the celestial heaven. A marriage of heart & soul were completed on Friday!

Maan's change in attitude & behaviour is more emphasised up on by the CV's & indications r given to us, the audience, that he will be smiling more now because Geet has taught him to smile forgetting his dark past's torments & he is willing to look forward to a happy pleasant future letting go of the forbidden past. Not only is he smiling more but of late Maan has become verbal more as well. He is expressing himself more in words, to Geet, to Dev, to his employees!! And there is a slight role reversal & Geet is more quiet & subdued now. She used to be more verbal & argumentative & now she is all talking through her eyes & within herself & Maan is trying to read her eyes & asking her to speak with his 'bolo, bolo na Geet'! So there is a change in their character graph & yet so far they have maintained the character consistency. Good going CV's! Both Maan & Geet r growing in their own ways!

And Dev realised & thought in a correct manner that he ought to leave because he can't ruin Maan's happiness which he witnessed on his face for the 1st time! Fast Dev, fast just pack ur bags & leave from there soon!! Yeah CV's u r doing an excellent job in paving the way to his redemption!! One lucky culprit he is I will have to say! If it was a reality I am sure a person with his criminal records would have been meted out with punishment but only in this show we r seeing Dev is honorned with sainthood! He wants to sacrifice for his brother's happiness, ask for forgiveness from Geet & leave them alone.............where to CV's?? Have u all booked his place in the Vatican yet? I don't understand this 'holier than thou' attitude of Dev that u r crowning him with, its not befitting!!

Maan leaves seeing Geet happy listening to the out pour of his heart & as usual happily goes to stalk her & pull her to him in his typical way! I flipped over his 'kya jaanna chahiti ho tum, bolo', 😃 that slight leaning on to her while asking that was too romantic! And this showed MSK, his as usual direct way of putting his feelings forward without concealing anything or beating around the bush! What Geet wanted to hear from the background he wanted to reveal to her on her face! That is MSK! Straight forward truth & honesty in every phase of his life! And she leaves him smiling showing her 'mehendi' reflecting the deep colors of their love! He didn't spoil her 'mehendi' because he can't, the color is related to the depth & sincerity of his love for her.

The next scene the most important one in the whole episode!! Geet's bumping on to Dev!! And boy oh boy what a scene that was!! I simply looked at DD all the time, how she was smiling when she bumped into him & then slowly tried to look up straightening her face to find out who it was & then the surprise turning into shock seeing its Dev & then slowly all the bad memories seeping in while the realisation just sinked in on her seeing Dev what she went through all because of him!! And then the detestable & abhorring look on her face seeing him standing there looking at her doing nothing was too much to bear! And yes she had to get those abominable emotions out of her system at that time or else she would have completely broken down from within, she had to find that outlet from her system & thus all the emotions came pouring out through that forceful slap! And did he deserve it or what!! I only wish there were some more that followed that one slap!

And the 'mehendi', the symbol of her happiness & love, is wiped away by the dark spot of her life, Dev!! That mehendi stayed as a mark on him to show he is the cause of all her sorrows & pain & he even now took away all her happiness which she found in Maan & the 'mehendi' bearing his name on it! Dev is the cause of all her miseries & suffering! A true real 'daag' of her life!

And now to Dev!! Actually I should say Abhinav!! Well as an actor u know what u have to do, right?? Yes ACT!! How long do u think we will overlook that one expression of urs in each & every frame?? This was such a crucial scene for u & all u had was a pitiful expression of urs on ur face seeing Geet!! Neither u looked sorry, neither it looked like u cried, neither guilty, neither u looked like understanding her plight, neither did u look u were empathising with her sorrow & pain, neither u looked like gracious enough to let her free of her memories of u.............I tried to see & read ur expressions a lot but believe me I came across a blank wall every time! I simply failed to put in to words what expression u were trying to emote. I know later u tried to tell Meera that u could feel what Geet went through because of u when u saw her but believe me I didn't see that on ur face even for a second!! Sorry for being so harsh but it really beats me to think what ties do u have with PH to keep u there in the show when the only thing u r supposed to do, but u can't , & that is to act!! Whatever!! Next to DD all the more ur expressionless face stood out very conspicuously!

The way Geet was aimlessly walking away & out of Khurana mansion was very noticeable! She was walking out on all her happiness just because a page from her past has come & blown right into her face. She has no ears for anyone there but the moment someone mentioned Maan look at the change of expression on her. Suddenly as if she found the anchor of her life & she realised she has to confide in Maan about Dev! She forgot about him earlier & his name brought back a renewed force, a renewed hope, a renewed life to her!! She dashed back to look for him! And yet after seeing him she didn't want to worry him seeing her in that condition!! True selfless love! He shouldn't suffer no matter what!!

And now CV's be prepared to be battered big time! U know I can accept any faux pas or mistakes or bloopers on ur part but the moment u mess up MSK's character I see red!! That is one constant factor I want to see going on in the show to keep me hooked to it. 'Badlava zindagi ka niyam hai', 'ussne mujhe phir se muskurana sikhaya',............I can understand & grasp he is changing & realise that he is finally happy today in his life to get engaged to Geet, the love of his life BUT, yes a big but, did he really have to go & joke around with his subordinates from his office? I will let go when he jokes with Geet or for Geet with someone but not when he is alone on his own, to go & speak jestingly with his employees, absolutely NOT. MSK should change for GEET but not for the world!! Over there he ought to remain the same! My 1st reason to be ticked off!! I know many will say he said he has learned to smile after a long time & is doing so effortlessly out of happiness but just remember a person's basic nature just doesn't change like that overnight! And here he is the CEO of the company & he has to maintain his position with his employees! CV's it definitely didn't go down well with me! Only my opinion!

2ndly Geet comes all in urgency with the stressful look on her face asking him to come with her because she wants to talk to him...........alone & what does he do?? He stands there telling her 'in front of everyone....................' & I wonder what was he going to say to her? I was beyond being shocked to realise he not for once realised that this is Geet who gets wary even to talk or look at him in public always thinking what people might say came to him all in despair asking him to follow her because she wants to converse & that too in private & yet it didn't register to him that Geet if she is doing this then it has to be something very important, something that is bothering her, something more than urgent!!?? And MSK is the one who is supposed to read her eyes!! Even if I let go of all his smiles & jocular self with his subordinates I can't let go of this one! He fails to read her big time knowing Geet will never publicly pursue him unless & until its very important! My 2nd reason to be upset with u CV's!

3rdly after he goes to the room he wanted to be cosy with her, I will pass that! Ok being a guy he thought of the obvious that she wants to be romantic with him!! He doesn't realise she just walked out of his hold, all right, will let that go as well!! He goes & switches on the light & comes back & then sees her & has a questioning look & asked her what happened! Ok fine! Something to put him back on track! Geet tells him she met him, Dev, & Maan is surprised & happy to know she has met Dev, his little brother who he loves the most after dadi & thought reckless & naughty he forgives him all the time & looks at him with all his love!!

Ok all fine but while saying all this he is looking at her & not for once he realised she has a shocked expression on her face & her eyes were pools of bewilderment there & she is not smiling but is all somber & solemn & the moment he utters Dev is my brother she just as if a current passed through her walks back from him, staggers backwards away from him!! He who was her world, her anchor, her pillar of strength now is talking away to oblivion & she is walking away from him, away from her very world!! And all this he doesn't notice, doesn't realise, doesn't see!!!?? R u all kidding me? This is MSK, he notices & observes every minute details of Geet & her eyes & her expressions & yet he can't see the massive devastation written all over fer face? She is not even facing away from him, hidden from his eyes but was standing right there in front of him staggering away all desolate & shattered & he is there talking about Dev & looking at her obscurely! R u trying to tell us CV's that u r connecting that statement of Geet's the other day to MSK about his unable to read her eyes to today's episode? But I am still not convinced! I want MSK to be perfect with his character, emotions & expressions all the time! The moment u change him without reason or go wrong with him I seriously get peeved! Expect much much better from u on this regard!

I am positive tomorrow Nissar will tie this with Maan again where he will be his original self trying to read Geet & getting it right! Specially that song 'aankhen teri' was chosen with a purpose for sure!!

Again Drashti was superb in this scene. She had the pain written all over her eyes & the moment Maan said Dev is his brother her face reflected shock followed by a shattering look as if the very ground she treads on was swept off her feet, the entire world collapsed around her, the bright light that hovered around her suddenly gave away to darkness. That one stagger away from Maan said everything! The very person who would have given her the support & strength is talking highly about the person so very fondly who gave her all the torment & pain in her life! Obviously her world will cripple down right in front of her eyes. The person who robbed her of her property, jewellery, money, honor, respect, her very purity, her life turns out to be her brother-in-law & this time the relationship is not fake but all very real! For any girl that would be a devastating fact! Living with 2 persons who changed her life under the same roof is not easy! One just ruined her life & other cared, saved & treasured it, this is the only difference!

At least by the end of the scene I saw a look of concern flitting across Maan's face about Geet!! He was going to probe but was interrupted by Adi & gang! And what was up with Adi today? He was a little carried away with his laughter & behaviour! Felt a little OTT specially knowing it was MSK he was dealing with.

The last scene again corroborated Geet's helplessness & dilemma! All her life she has been struggling to fight for happiness, truth & security & today at the time when she was going to gain everything the ominous past walked right into her life again to crush everything to pieces. No wonder she was questioning & complaining to her 'babaji' about her being tried & tested at every juncture of her life. And she asked for a way to resolve all this & up comes the solution in form of Dev! Or is it disaster?? Knowing u CV's Dev will be ultimate rescuer of Geet I think, relieving her of all her miseries of the past thay haunts her all the time! Baba Dev!! Will wait & watch to find out. Today the show belonged to Geet & DD did complete justice all throughout!

About the precap only one thing came up to my mind! Doodle u keep on making requests so that we get to see them fulfilled in a beautiful manner! 😃 U thought the scene was incomplete & tomorrow Nissar will complete it for u! 😃

But other than this there were some more significances! As I wrote earlier the 'maangtika' symbolised 'sindoor' & the necklace symbolised 'mangalsutra' & 'mehendi', all these signifies the essence of a married woman, 'suhagan'! Tomorrow in the precap she was devoid of all these characteristics symbolising all the color was taken out of her life by Dev & Maan putting everything back on her showing he is bringing the colors back in her life, he is making her a 'suhagan' again! From a blank canvas of her life Maan painted beautifully to give her a bright colorful life! Rest will wait to see the scene tomorrow to comment in details!

Overall an ok episode, the confrontation was very good, DD was superb, MSK to me was messed with & Dev being a pest in her life but apparently with good intentions & portrayed with an expressionless acting of Abhinav! Expect much better from u, Nissar & CV's!! Hopefully tomorrow it will be more remarkable than today!

Ummm... Yes... What exactly was that? Ok, I am sorry I know I have promised not be harsh and I will keep to it, but some things have to be said. But before that, I shall say the good parts. Yes, I am not that bad 😉

The Good 👍🏼

1. Drashti Dhami .... Drashti Dhami... Drashti Dhami... What do I say? Aapka ek scene poore episode ko kaha se kaha lekar gaya. The change in expression from smile to shock to sadness to anger. Wow!!! What a transformation? You blow us away each time Drashti and you never do injustice to a high point in the series. I was watching the older episodes and I came across the one where Geet comes to Maan to let him know that she will come to Amritsar and he accuses her of trying to frame him. Note her expressions here. She has only improved and will in the future as well. Love you Drashti 😳

2. Drashti ka chata... Here you actually feel that there is no Drashti and just Geet. You see the pain clearly in her eyes and you can totally believe that she has gone through this ordeal. Her life flashing in front of her eyes and the natural outcome when the culprit is standing in front of you on your happiest day😡. Tissssshhhh!!! That my friend is the sound of music to my ears. Kitne time se yeh karna tha. Thank you, Geet. Lekin ek thoda kam tha. Ek laat bhi maarna next time hamari taraf se!!!

3. Technical Front... I am happy. Scenes were not rushed. Imagine if they had tried to include Debina's performance in today's episode. We would have borrowed Brij's swords and gone to the studio!! Kyun???😆😆😆

The Bad 😲

1. Timing of Dev and Geet coming face to face😕...Creatives, please listen to Meera and 'implement' what she says!!! This was not the time!!! Uski engagement toh hone dete. One happy moment without some kind of tamasha would be nice. This is a saas - bahu soap trait, har occasssion mein problem. Please aisa mat karo.

2. I am sorry guys, do not kill me but I am putting MSK under bad today bcoz the characterization was slightly messed up. I know you are in love but dude, look at your fiancee. She was ready to burst and you are looking at her like an idiot seductively. There is a time for everything and that was not it. CV's you made him say that he can read her eyes. He is not doing a good job is he? 😭😭 It takes a lot out of me to write anything against Gurmeet so please maintain consistency in his character. He is not a lunatic lover. He is a smart, caring and intelligent lover. Dont take it away from us!! Please!!!!

2. Mehendi itni jaldi kaise nikli... People, the mehendi was on Dev's face for a while yet when he came to Geet in the end it was all gone. Not good. We expect better thinking guys!!!

The Worst 😡😡😡

1. Geet ka siiiiirrr!! Kya hai yaar? Tub scene ho gaya, rail station par mangni, office mein mangni, Manali mein yeh - woh. Toh phir yeh sir kyun yaar? Geet, sweetie, you kill the relationship with that Sir!! You have gone beyond that. Accept it!!!!

2. Myra, you are a woman!! Would you forgive an a** like Dev? Then why on earth are you supporting him. He is wrong, wrong, wrong!! And you are trying to protect him? But you know what, he is a chicken and he is going to run away to Vamptara very soon. The man does not have a spine, Myra🤢. Please dont insult women and our sisterhood. Dont support him!!!!

Loved the way she ran to tell Maan. We need to get used to maan sir I think. This is like Mr bajaj😊.Meera had some sense .Hope she can bring some sanity around.

If today's episode is any indicator, seems like this week we are going to see some high-voltage drama.

Episode opens with Dev walking towards Maaneet near the lighted arc. Hearing someone coming, Geet slips away.

Maan-Dev convo
----------------------

Dev approaches Maan to tell him about Geet. But Maan interrupts him and conveys his new found happiness to Dev on his finding and Geet. Geet listening behind the curtain.
Maan tells Dev how Maaneet r not going to live in the past but looking forward to starting a new future. Its clear that Maan too had a past.

Dev hearing Maan's happiness decides not to tell him about Geet. Instead thinks, I'm not going to ruin your happiness….aap ki khushi barkaraar rahe as Maan hugs Dev. Maan notices Geet behind curtain, excuses himself n goes in seartch of Geet

Dev – wanted to tell him everything but doesnot wanna tell him. Bro ki khushi isi mein hai ke mein unke zindagi se door chalaa jaoon. If I don't come in front of them , they wont have to think of their past.

Geet walking back smiling. Maan catches her. Nice romantic scene.

Drashti …. YOU WERE AWESOME !!!!

The range of emotions on Geet's face ….from happiness to then noticing who she bumped into, recognizing Dev, the shock and horror at seeing him here, flashbacks from her past with Dev that put her in this situation and finally anger…..SUPERBLY shown Geet.

Geet slaps Dev in her fury. YES !!!! Oye, balle balle !!!

Poor Geet is in shock ! In a daze, she walks around the main hall, trying to come to grips with what just happened. She then realizes she has to find Maan. Desperately she looks around for him. You must appreciate the fact that inspite of finding Dev, the first thing that comes to her mind is to find Maan and tell him.

Maan n Adi et al

Maan is in a very happy mood, so much so that he even banters lights with Adi, Pinky n Tasha. Maan tells them tevar to sehne hi padenge Geet their bosses wife. Boss se jyaada wife ki baat to maanni hi padegi.

Deveera
----------

Meera sees the mark of Geet's hand on Dev's face (YIPPEEE). Meera, u r right, at least ur heart is in the right place. Dev tells her that he didn't tell Maan anything. But Meera convinces Dev to talk to Geet b4 she tells Maan.

Geet runs to Maan

Khud par kaabu kar Geet, agar Maan sir ne tumko aise dekh liya to unka kya haal hoga ? Inspite of her shock, Geet is worried about how Maan will feel when she'll tell him about Dev's presence. Maan's happiness is paramount in Geet's mind. She sees him talking to Adi n gang n saying that she wants to talk to him alone, drags him away. Maan is so drunk on love that he misses the urgency in Geet's eyes and tone. They reach Maan's room. Maan is still in a romantic mood, misinterprets her dragging him aways as wanting to be alone with him. He misses zooming in on Geet's state of mind. where Geet tells him that she met Dev… Maan hearing Dev's name tells him that Dev is his younger bro, her bro-in-law. Tells her that after Dadi, he is concerned abt Dev, he is a little sharaarti, so he forgives him always. The second major shock of the day to Geet. As she is trying to absorb this info, Maan seems to be sensing that something is wrong. Just as he is about to talk to her about it, he is distracted by Adi's laughter outside the door. Turns out Adi, Pinky n Tasha r eavesdropping on Maaneet convo.

What a day ! On the day when she should have been overjoyed at how her fortune had turned, she comes face to face with her past. As she is trying to share this info with Maan, she finds out that Maan and Dev are brothers.

Geet rushes back to the solitude of the arc. Asks Babaji – Why ? Why do u want to test me all the time ? If u wanted to bring my past in front of me, why did you give me the hope of happiness ? Why did u introduce me to Maan ? What do I do now? Now, you show me the way.

Dev approaches her from behind and says 'Geet'.

Precap – Maan putting the duppatta on Geet's head, adorns her hand with jewels…while 'Aankhen teri kitne haseen' playing in the background.

Some observations –

Maan opening up to Dev – This is probably the calm before the storm. Maan opens up a window into his heart to Dev, even touching upon his troubled past. But this will probably be the last time the 2 brothers will be this close.

Dev stopping himself from confessing to Maan – He is a survivor. Looking at Mana's happiness he takes a step back, realizing the magnitude of the issue at hand aka Maan's reaction, if he breaks the news. Dev is also willing to walk away so as to not bring back the past. This seems to be an indicator that Dev either exiles himself or is now at greater risk of being kicked out.

Meera – she is good at heart. Deep inside she still is on Geet's side, from her very first reaction to Dev's confession to today. She realizes that Dev should not have met Geet on such an important day in her life where she has put behind her past. She tells Dev to talk to Geet only after she finds out about the Maan-Dev convo. At this point she is afraid that Geet will tell Maan putting Dev at risk. She can be a good ally but who's ally will she chose to be …. A sinking ship like Dev or an uprising like Geet ?

Maan saying to Adi – Tevar to sunne padenge…Geet ke. Geet will take a more prominent role in the office, obviously. But probably more so when Maan learns about Dev as the culprit.

Geet received a double whammy today. Still in a state of shock, she will be quiet until she is able to process the information and find a solution. She will not undermine Maan's happiness. As she is processing this shock, the importance of the now, Khurana waris will also dawn on her. She will want to do what is right for Maan and the baby.

Maan – In his state of happiness, he has absorbed the intense disquiet and run of emotions in Geet but he has not processed it. He has not been able to read her eyes today….but tomorrow give me hope if the background song 'Aankhen teri kitne haseen' is any indicator. And then, hell hath no fury like Maan….

Today was Drashti's day. Her superb acting eclipsed everyone. Dev had a great opportunity. Abhinav was better than in the past couple episodes …. But he was no match for Drashti.

Great job, Nissar, CVs, Drashti, GC et al ! Looking forward to tomorrow.
