You have still not answered the question why those rituals were important in showing the Parineeta metaphor. Why should those seven vows be taken? Who devised those vows? Why not have their own vows which has nothing to do with the symbolic representation of the rituals already in existence? As to children born out of wedlock, do they have the same life as the ones born within? People who adopt them provide the stable house for the child. One can't look at morals selectively. The story already adopted the rituals which are devised by society to prove that Maaneet are meant for each other. So why not go the extra mile and complete the loop?
Who made these rituals important? We as the viewers!! Film only conceptualizes the dreams and fancies of the viewers. It does what you want!!!
Did they tell you that these are vows of marriage. We can interpret anything any which way.
