everything that reminds her of Dev needs to be replaced in her memory with Maan. Someone else went as far as to say they need to get married so that she can start associating the sindoor and the chooda with Maan and not Dev. I would not go quite that far but she needs to make happy memories with Maan so that she forgets the sadness.
