Why is Maan not hearing her out?

Could be any or all of these:

1. He does not want to hear the details of how she got pregnant. The very thought of another man getting so close to his Geet is repulsive to him. Knowing Geet, she may well give too many details which he may not be able to digest.

2. He is angry and wants to stay that way for some time because the alternative would be pain which is far worse and he knows that once he hears Geet out he will definitely be in pain.

3. He is afraid of Geet's persuasive skills. She may well convince him of something which may not be true but he may well believe given his vulnerable state. He would end up looking the fool once again.

4.He is Maan Singh Khurana who always likes to have the last word.

5.Deep down he fears that Geet may just have a genuine story which would make her the victim. If he hears her out, his pain would be redoubled because he feels her pain more than he does his own. Right now he is not up to it.

I too am waiting to see his reaction. I think after the initial shock wears out, Maan Singh Khurana will shed tears for the first time in his life. Just to think of all that his beloved had to go through would break the man.

Bri, the points you listed, all I can say is, my heart really goes out to that girl. She deserves all the happiness in the world and once Maan soughts out the issues in his mind, happiness will be at her feet...and this time, permanently. 😊
