I don't know why. I did not feel too good about the precap. This is what is going on in my mind:
Maan has called for a meeting at his conference hall. Maybe he may delegate work amongst the rest of the employees, pointedly leaving Geet out of any responsibility and inform them that he is going on a camp again. The desperation with which Geet tries to reach him seems to indicate that he is going away for some time and she may not get to speak with him if she does not catch up then.
We also see her stumble and there was another car right behind. Since we know that Sammy has started shooting, maybe she is the one in that car. The car may stop just in time and she may take Geet to the hospital where she would be declared as fine and so is the baby. Sammy may take care of Geet for some time duing which Geet learns that she was Maan's love interest.
In the meantime, Maan may have gone to Hoshiarpur to search for the rest of the puzzle. So Dev would not have been able to meet him to tell the truth from his side. It would also postpone Geet-Dev meeting as Geet would be at Sammy's house.
Now one may wonder why Maan did not wait for her to tell the truth herself. Maybe he did not want Geet to relive her past while narrating it. He has seen the pain it had caused her in many instances. His anger may be more at himself for not being able to connect the dots earlier and hence he may feel that he himself has to find out the truth.
I hope this is not the track they have planned because it would mean a Maaneet separation at least for some time. Geet could also be contemplating giving up on Maan so that he gets back his first love whom he lost due to some major misunderstanding.
