I hate to say this, but after what happened today, things will only get worse before they get better.
I think this might happen:
(its just a skeleton of an idea that has been a bit exaggerated to explain how it might happen)😊 PLease grin and bear😃
--- geet will try her best to talk to maan but he will be rude, curt and shoot her down.
--- She will keep trying though and not let insult or anger weaken her resolve. she'll keep forgiving.
--- Sasha might feel out the maans antagonism towards geet and provoke situations where he might blast geet.
--- Geet thinks that the best way now since he isnt listening might be to get him to read a letter.
She explains everything in the letter and goes to keep it on maans desk.
--- Maan enters right then and seeing her looses his control .He starts his angry rant saying hurtful things, geet tries to stop him repeatedly but it just makes him angrier and he says some UNFORGIVABLE things to geet.
--- Geet is stunned. It seemed to her like he was back to thinking of her the way he did wen he had rebuked her before the dargah incident.
she had expected fury, but also understanding.she had expected that come what may that since he knew her now and loved her there were some things he would neva accuse her of, or say of her character.
She is too stunned now to listen to what he is saying. Then she spots Sasha leaning on the open cabin door and the entire office staff in the background. All heard about her pregnancy , maans vile accusations, and their faces reflected utter shock.
--- thats wen an incredible calm descends over geet. She realizes she has her dignity and her child's dignity to protect. That day was here. only she had not imagined maan to be on the other side. she gives an involuntary rueful half smile, and calmly and walks out of the cabin.
--- Maan suddenly turns to find her gone and sees the entire office staff there motionless with shock.
He cant believe he actually lost control and now the entire stff knew. He gets confused about what to do and shouts for everyone to leave.
--- geet is packing her stuff wen sasha swoops down on her with a barrage of insults. she is uber-happy and showing it. Adi and pinkys faces are crestfallen.
--- geet unaffectedly exits from the office and goes home. she packs her bags quietly and brings them down only to find daadiji there.
Daadiji is puzzled, but Geet sits her down and lovingly but firmly tells her that the engagement is over. That she should not worry bout maan, it was just that they were not suited to each other.
Daadiji just listens sadly. Geet places the ring in her hands, hugs her and leaves.
---meanwhile maan has been pacing like a caged lion. He had not meant ALL of those vile things and he had DEFINITEly not meant for the office staff to know anything. He felt guilty for having humiliated geet in public but is still angry.
--- calls for a conference, goes there with the file in which is geets letter. sits down and when sasha starts with the presentation, sees the letter and opens to read it.
he is beyond shocked. gets up without a word and goes to his office. he's still speechless, and reads the letter again and again.
stunned. he remembers all of geets subtle hints--wen he had gone to say sorry and she had thought he liked to se her miserable, the maan-arranges-dinner-for-geet scene , giving suggestions about pari scene, after the disco, the saree scenes....everytime wen she spoke the truth and he waved them off to be lame excuses.
calls up munshiji.
--- he rushes out wildly heading home.
--- daadi is still sitting dejectedly in the outhouse. she called up adi and got to know what had transpired there.
--- she gets up to go wen maan barges in calling out for geet. he asks her but she says nuthing and places the ring on his palm."Humein maaf kar dijiyega maan. aap bahot bade ho gaye hain. hamari ummedon se bhi bade. ab aapko hamari fikr karne ki koi zaroorat nahin." she leaves.
--- maan dashes up the stairs and finds all of geets stuff gone.
They may then show geet standing on her two feet somewhere and maan trying to get her back.According to me it would not take him long to find her but it might take her long to forgive him.
I Fervently hope this track doesnt happen though. I dunno why but I would absolutely hate it.
