Geet's baby- Maan's past- A connection? - Page 5

Maan to have had physical relations with sam is a big no no from me..Maan to have had physical relationship without love will create serious doubts to the credibility of his character.. Had Maan been in love b4, it wouldn't have taken him so long to comprehend his feelings for geet...Also he confirmed it the other day that he does not know wat love is..He asked geet for her version for him to cross check..

He as of now looks like he has no idea wat hit him, y else does he keep repeating that he has gone mad?

Maans bitterness has everything to do with his parents..

1) Have u noticed that there r absolutely no pics of Maan's parents anywhere in the mansion...

Not even the one containing chandan ki maala considering they r dead.. Isn't their absence conspicious??? Any normal house will have pic of the dead unless of course.....

2} Dev's mum calls him Chote Sahab. It means she must have been his Nanny whom senior khurana latter married either cause of Maan's upbringing or cause he had an affair with her..

3} Maan's perceptions bout womens r that they r weak, uncapable of logical thinking cause they r always crying...

Women just silently suffer at the hands of their family members, they don raise their voice against injustice done to them.

Thats y he asks geet to stop crying, stand for herself, work out ways to get out of the prob she is in n fight against the injustuce done to her...

I think Maans mum was in an abusive relationship with his father.. He must have physically n mentally tortured her n she must have silently endured all that cause she really loved her husban.. He must have cheated on her..finally she must have commited suicide... His exp with his mum taught him that love only gives pain.. He tells geet he hates emotional talks cause he must have heard his mums..So he made himself so strong that no emotion should ever bother him...Maan must have witnessed all this n was deeply hurt that he was unable to do anything for his mum..His father might have ill-treated him too......His mums death was the final blow....

His mother was his only hope when she was alive, after her death he felt betraied by the only 1 who loved him n whom he loved too..

Check out Maans expr when geet told him that he cannot love anybody n nobody has ever loved him.. She touched a nerve there..

Maan has always helped geet only bcoz i feel she partly reminds him of his mother. The only difference being that she is fighting for herself... This promts him to help her... Many have already told that Maan feels it his right n duty to protect geet. When he saved her from Brij there was no romantic angle of him for geet but even then he saves her with all his might n makes it very clear that till he is alive no one will be able to touch her...This may be cause he feels that he was unable to do anything for him mum, atleast he can help geet out... He was doing all this subcounciously ofcorse untill he fell in love with her..

Now for sameera. i feel this is wat might have happened....
MSK was rude and bitter from the start even before he met sameera... Bcoz of his parents n troubled childhood... He decided to marry sam for pure practical reasons or dadi's pressure... No romantic involvement at all....Sameera understood that but due to parental pressure agreed. But was unable to digest the fact that she is getting into a loveless marriage which has no future n may be thats y left him on the d-day...Thats why sameera is extremely positive? This completely shattered MSK's plans and hurt his ego badly.. SO IT is A BRUISED EGO MAAN HAS BEEN NURSING & NOT A BROKEN HEART..
Now maan is feeling real love for geet..This explains the anjaan ehsaas..the inability of Maan to recognize love even when it is staring and shouting in his face..
Regarding Dadi asking why Maan was bent upon giving the punishment for Sameera's sins to Geet, it may have been told just to calm him down..Many times we accept something that is not correct just to console our loved ones..
May be while being engaged to Maan she got involved with a guy..I feel NT had a huge role in the break-up.... maan knew that NT will try to get rid of his fiance due to insecurity...NT must have asked sam to do some thing to break maan's trust to get out of the relationship. she took an escapist route and did something to piss off maan big time... With this NT had 2 kills in 1 stone.. Maan's engagement got canceled n he developed more bitterness ..Or maybe she really loved him a lot n knew that this alliance will lead to know where n left him thinking that some1 will surely come n make him fall in love...

Sameera is a positive character, so her aborting her baby for future aspirations or her being a gold digger does not validate the CV's version of sam being a positive chracter...It will be nice if they show sam-maan just drifting apart as there was nothing to bind them in the first place...

I totally agree that Maan's past should not have a VERY involved relation with Sameera...its going to be totally against the character...but even if it was shown that way...it still would not justify Geet not telling Maan about the baby..her baby is the present and future....

it would be better if the track went along, that had a bad childhood (that is why he is attached to his Dadi so much who was by him when he was vulnerable during his young age) and the relationship with Sameera added to the baggage he was already carrying and he became a recluse...

Agree Maan past will not be as horrible as Geet's otherwise he would have shared it with Geet.

It was an indication for geet..She was going to tell maan of her pregnancy..It was an indication that maan will love n adore geet's child as his own..I really don think the CV's were trying to show maan's past at this point of the junction...

And abt his telling to Geet abt his past..........well had he got the confirmation from her he would have defo shared with Geet as he said for him truth holds the highest value in life.So he would have not at all hide it from her.
Am not telling that he is hiding his past..All i wanna say is that there could have a little self talk from maan as we had from geet.. Atleast after watching her speak to his chair, maan thought that she'll confess..A little self talk regarding his past, or him wanting to tell her bout it latter would have made sense if it was so intricate...

@Swati: Good analysis...Maan's father being a monster...definitely coul explain where Dev got his genes from...but Dadi is so sweet, and would be sad to see she had such a son...also Dev is now showing some signs of consciousness, so i'm still not totally sold that his father was such a monster..

What about his mother being the culprit?????that is why his dad had this affair with Pammi, a woman maybe not in their status...that also explains why he also fell for someone like Geet...From Pammi's interview, it looks like NT is the one who is calling the shots in hers and Devs life....


Maan agreeing to marry sameera due to family pressure...not convinced on that one either....i think he would like to call the shots where his life was concerned....my only theory why sameera is now coming positive, is, she is a changed woman...

Another comment by Dev that is intriguing: when he sees Pari, he comments that he did not think that he liked such girls...So Sam was more a gharelu type but with a bad intention at that time??????

yeah the thought of maan being in a physical relationship with another woman is kinda hard to digest at first but, looking at it from where i do, he had to be shattered real bad for him to have turned soo bitter ...

U r forgetting that dadi once said to geet that maan is like that only from past 25 years...Maan getting all this bitter for sam is very OTT according to me...I feel its much more deeper..If sam could make him soo bitter it means he loved her a lot n was deeply involved... But as per the present track, maan has confirmed that he is in love for the first time..It means he never loved sam..If he never loved sam than how the hell did he change so much???Ppl we love only have the power to change us...
