Hey Guys!🤗

I'm back with my weekend rants!😆

As we've all noticed by now, this forum has an immense amount of talent, wether that's Sigs, VMs or FFs.👏

Whilst all of these are an integral part of the Geet forum, the recent surge in them means that discussion topics are repeatedly pushed back and the first 3 or so pages of the forum are mostly dominated by FF and VM threads.

The current solution to this seems to be the action taken by many other busy forums on IF which is too move the FFs and VMs to the Fanfictions and Video Mixes forums respectively.

Links for these can be kept in the *Geet Media Centre*, but ofcourse the forums themselves have their own system to keep track of different threads from different forums.

If there are any objections to this and/or alternative solutions; I'm more than happy to hear them.😳

No dont do this!!!
Please yaar...
Its so difficult to go there and search for geet VMs and FFs
And if something new starts....
We will not able to know it!!!
Solution could be that there should be single thread for a member where he/she post all his/her VMs and one for OS...
It will not only make the forum less filled with the these things but it will also be easier as all the things fromm an author would be under one place!!!

Zoya, what I'm saying is that all of these FFs and VMs will be linked into the Media Centre here so that we can keep a track of them. And ofcourse, once you reply to an FF/VM thread, it's always available to track the "My posts" feature in the top left hand corner.

As for members puttin gall there stuff in one thread - - I'm afraid it won't help as only a handful of members have (i.e.) more than one FF. Doing this will only decrease FF/VM threads by a very small amount.😊

I understand Dev team's concerns but I would prefer if the FF's and VM's werent moved, as it will get hard to search for FF's in the FF forum and not everyone know that links can be posted in Media centre. (The same thing happened in MJHT section and its hard to find the links to FF's as not everyone posts them in the Media centre)

Cant we have a forum voting thread in which people can vote whether they want FF's and VM's to be moved?

Tomiko..i agree wid u..I was actually thinking of PM-ing one of d mods regarding this..AS its a discussion forum,we should keep it in dat way only.& another reason is-In geet forum,der r just too many FF's :)

I really didn't want to hurt any1 by saying this though,its just dat sometime its a bit irratating..

Although other forums allowed VM's thread but if u guyz wish to move both FF & Vm's i dont mind..

I really like your idea Mods.

I for one would be grateful if you do something about the FFs and the Vms.....that's all you see when you open the forum. This has become less of a discussion forum and more of a fantasy forum!

It can get annoying....and I'm not going to apologise for my comment as, I believe that in the spirit of discussion for which IF stands, one has the right to express one's views without fear.

but let's have a second thought to this, why not moving the recent ones, let the old few ones remain....I too understand the actual point, and to be honest I have noticed lots and lots of FFs and VMs here, and every day three or four new ones comes out

no no i do not agree to this .........i mean moving recent ones and keeping old ones....coz recent ones does not get so many readers whereas old ones already get readers..recent ones just need to keep in forum...so that everyone can read the recent FFs.....and gve thre view.....rather i suggest move old ones coz they have already got enuf readers and they can use pm service for this.....but new ones shud b thr in this forum only...so that everyone can read it....and another thing,i seriously dont support to move some FFs in FFForum...rather i luv if all the FFs are moved to the fan fiction forum..😊
