Damon - Damon is just such an incredibly, deeply layered character. It's difficult to describe him, I can show you a video😃 and you will get the essence of who is and why I'm gaga over TVD😳😆😆😆
Background story is that, he is a vampire (don't cringe, it gets better😆- I promise) who has been in love with this one girl for 145 years, she was a vampire too and had promised to turn him in 1864, he was human at the point. Her name was Katherine. Yet, the town they lived in found out about these vampires and basically made a plot to get rid of them, what the towns people didn't know was that actually all they managed to do was lock the vampires up in a tomb and starve them to the point of being mummified. Anyway, so Damon knew this and even though he tried to protect her from getting into the tomb, he couldn't. So 145 years later her returns to town to set her free, the tom can be opened only when a comet passes (a whole other supernatural). But when he gets to town BAM he finds the exact identical Katherine walking around called Elena. (Elena, really reminds me of Kripa, its eerie😆) - Anyway, though he is intrigued by her at first he slowly finds himself falling for her, even though she IS COMPLETELY different to Katherine. One, she isn't a vampire and two, she isn't a seductive, manipulative cow😆 - In 1865, Katherine was also with Damon's brother Stefan, using, seducing and manipulating them both. Stefan got over her only to find Elena 145 years later and fall for her but Damon stayed loyal all these years in the hope to set Katherine free. The catch is, that Damon completely impacted and influenced by Katherine became an evil, sadistic, dangerous vampire whilst Stefan with regret about the past, deparately held onto his humanity and attempts to act human surpressing his vampiric side.
So, Elena finds herself between the good brother Stefan and the evil *but-not-so-evil' Damon.

Anyway, in the most recent episode, Damon did the unthinkable and attacked Elena's brother because Elena wouldn't admit she loved him too - I make it sound bad but there is more to it😆😆😆😆 and its funny but most of the Delena fandom HAVE ACTUALLY found positives in the situation. The whole scene ended with Elena saying 'I hate him' yet we reckon when it comes down to it, Elena will end up Damon.
So whatever is happening betwen Maan and Geet - there is something good to come. Its no dealbreaker - though the baby might be an issue
