When Maan said "tumhe mujhse pyaar ho gaya hai"...It was a hypothetical question to test Geet's feelings for him..he said it without realisng what he said😆...He knows something called "LOVE" exists in real world...but he doesn't know the definition of that "LOVE"...the reason why he always wanted to know Geet's feelings first to assure himself that whatever he is feeling for her is only called love..but when he din't get that assurence from Geet and instead got a frandship from her,his confusion about love's definition went from bad to worst😆😆....and in Geet's case that "Hum" was important...because it indicates "Forever" type of bond which just the word friendship does not indicate😃...and for further take ..read Anj's analysis on PG1...she is better than me when it comes to solid defence😆😆

Geet's Character Analysis:(My first thought, not yet the final)

18 year old ' CHEATED, pregnant, cannot call herself married or unmarried. Resolute and has taken up a responsibility that is equal to a nightmare. But, she has made that nightmare her dream. Life always gives you second chance, and same has happened with Geet. She has met the perfect man. Trusting and believing again is a big issue. The girl is wants to block but at the same time is getting close to the man. It's quite natural when you fall in love you do not see much reason and do get pulled towards the man, ignoring your mind's warnings.

She becomes friends with the man because they are more than employee and boss, or acquaintances, and she cannot take the big stride forward too because of the baggage. Remember, she is would be mother too. She is in love with the unborn and that is why she fought death and walked out all alone on an unknown path.

The man is giving mixed signals according to some here. Let's go with this theory. He is giving mixed signals, so the girl is confused whether he feels strongly for her or not -- she is yet to think whether his love is strong enough to absorb her past and be not hurt if he loves her (Jyoti may say it's coming). Completely agree, one wants to be sure before stepping forward. Most of the girls do not drop their guard until and unless sure about the guy's feelings.

She is 18 and is not worldly, but has experienced enough to understand what is wrong and what is right. She has been cheated so knows what holding back of truth can do. She is ordinary girl but dark circumstances have pushed her to lead an extra-ordinary life.

The man may look like is going round the circle, but he is taking that circle and that is why the Q in mind of the girl. Doesn't the guy deserve to have a hint? By not giving even a slight hint, the girl is coming across as someone:

Leading the Man so that she can have her own sweet revenge by revealing her past ' at times people tend to hurt other person if they have been hurt by others. Geet is not that kind of girl, but she is not also dumb.

She wants to feel and enjoy the emotions and be close to the man she loves, thus closing of eyes for a moment and then do the somersault.

She wants total commitment and complete understanding of the Man's love depth for her. Great again, but her past is The Past. In this thought of looking for 100 percent sign, she is forgetting the man and what he may go through once the truth is revealed. Again, she did think about him that is why the fake engagement agreement. But, is she now?

Is she thinking from a mother's perspective? Never seen her doing that, and again the scene may come, but do not see that when one needs to define the character and her acts.
