hey all😊..first of all please dont take me wrong and I am here just to share my POV !..everybody does not have to agree and I have no intentions to hurt anyone !
Well I have seen a lot of people asking what message CVs are giving?..Why Geet is all dependent on Maan?..Why is she acting stupid?..Does all this happen in reality?.Why dont CVs show realistic thing instead of showing fantasy as people like Maan does not actually exist in reality who will accept a woman with someone else's child?
SO my answer is this is NO reality..its a show..if they will show it extemely realistic and harsh how many people do you think will watch it?..its a show made to entertain the audience along with giving a message in a light way!..In todayz world nobody likes preachings and nobody likes reality checks on how harsh the real world is!..The show was very good from the beginning when it had more reality touch but it gained trps only after less realistic Maaneet romance started!..it clearly shows what the audience wants to see..Realities are way too harsh than sometimes we can imagine but lets be truthful-who all would still watch the show if it would not show a dreamy character like Maan,a sweet-simple girl Geet who doesnt leave laughing and having fun even after facing so much in life,a love story between these two-so different people!..AGREE that real life is not all roses but such shows give us inspiration to never loose hope in life,..you never know you might make an exception and find a guy like Maan in reality..how much weird and dumb the thought might sound but how do we know!..reality might be very harsh but it might be true fairytale for some people..BUT yes,its not a fairytale for all people and in the same way its not terrible/harsh for all!
I know that people who say that CVs should give a message are right and believe me they have given many nice and inspiring messages in the past but they need not give messages by showing something which is not really nice to see or is disheartening..maybe we will get some sad moments in the show but we all watch the show for the happy moments we want to see happen between Maaneet!..their is enough reality in real life and we dont need to look at fiction shows to give us the same!I love GEET and enjoy it a lot because it is reality mixed with fantasy! Its a show which has all the material a good daily soap drama requires!..It makes me laugh, makes me cry sometimes and makes me feel inspired at times!..That is all I want from a fiction show!

Completely agree with you Bul... these are fictions.... Fictions will be a hit only if they are a bit unrealistic..... We all loved cindrella story because its unrealistic.... In Geet they have a social message. But they are not conveying it with all the reality... After all we wathc these shows to enjoy our time half hour or one hour we forget everything real around us and enjoy... That is entertaintment and i think you have perfectly assimilated that in your post....

thank god! i soo agree 😊

besides if people want reality there are definitely other shows-- like thoda hai bas thode ki... on colors--damn if it isnt REAL, did not have the guts to watch after a couple of epis. šŸ˜• must be good though.

Also, I have seen, people crib for realistic portrayal but shows that really tend to be realistic dont do well and are always shut down in a few months.
I could name a few just off the bat- like ek packet ummeed, there was this show on sony about a group of women traveling in a local train, and even a show I personally liked--radha ki betiyaan , which really had beautiful romance and all the spice but was still near to real life, yet was taken off-air midway.

Star one is youth centered entertainment, and thats what we want.
They have been treating the subject well enough even by entertainment standards, and have shown quite some intelligent characters.
Yep we have our grievances about this scene or that, sometimes too childish sometimes a bit tiresome, but all in all we crave this and it makes for sweet light entertainment.
I am also not saying people are wrong to wish for it, but come'on you knew its a general entertainment show on star one. shud have gone to colors(i guess) or someplace else for HARD hitting stories.
This show and its characters have already exceeded expectations and defied convention by ALL standards.
LOve it just the way it is. Adore Maan and Geet. And the cv's. Just hoping to see the story get a bit tighter in the future.
