Kuch Toh Hua Hai'..An Analysis

First of all a big congratulations to the CV's and the Director Nissar Parvez of picturising the song in a very Different and Innovative way'..One assumes that the song will show both the male and Female Version of the song thereby showing both Maan and Geet's Feelings'..

But the Creative Team goes 10 steps ahead and turns the song sequence into an utterly beautiful and different conceptualization'..

Geet is giving her hopes, her life and Happiness a second chance''She wants to live again'.she wants to feel special'..and she hopes and wishes that Maan is the Guy who will bring a new meaning to her life'to her very existence'..But the 18 year old girl that she is'.her innocent and kiddish side of her sets to decide this by using the age old formula that of deciding with Flower Petals'..

I loved the way the whole thing was treated'.It had a certain Freshness and uniqueness of it own'Maan may not have been an integral part of the whole Sequence (No Male Version of the song was used)'.and the whole thing was showcased from Geet's POV'..but still all the elements they used in the Seq'.be It the coffee'.Be it the Flowers'.or be it Geet wanting Maan to notice her in the Dress he selected it'..It evidently showed that Maan was changing'.The warm smile he gave after seeing the flowers in his cabin'..or the proper mannerisms he showed by correcting Geet that he still prefers one sugar cube'..everything was a sign that he is changed and a sign to Geet that She definitely did matter to him'."A LOT"'.

The way the song ended was way too good'.. coz how much ever these two support, care, love, feel for each other'.that much they have to argue with each other too'And that aspect of them will never change (and we don't want it to change ether)'....Maan insisting that he be called MAAN'.and she adding the Sir to it'..and finally agreeing she would try to call him Maan was the most cutest argument MAANEET had ever had'.and finally Maan admitting instead of just smiling that the Dress Looked good on her'..there by wrapping up the whole Seq''

In short there was nothing great or extravagant about the sequence'.Par woh Kehthe hai na'.

Khubsoorthi Saadgi mein hothi Hai (Beauty lies in simplicity)

Full Points to the Director'.Saluting his splendid vision which was well executed by the choreographer''and well captured and executed by the Creative Team

Signing out'..Love Viji

m glad you pointed this out viji .. i myself wanted to bring out the beautiful way they picturised the song .. though love was in the air .. it was more about Geet giving life another chance and life returning everything to her in bounty!!
