Hi Mishti, Whoa what a topic??? I guess this topic started after the poll about the Baby topic was released by Geet team. After coming here and seeing all the replies my reaction was "Whoa". Exactly. Now after reading I don't see the perceptual gap to fit in. LOL. All of you have so wonderfully written. Before blabbering I would like to thank you for starting this topic so early. Because this discussion will at least give the CVs and Star some ideas as to what the "Think Tank" of Geet HSP Viewers' is thinking of the Baby being the key in the story and its importance in Geet HSP. .

Well after going through all the options I think nothing is left for me here. But anyway will try to suggest something in my words.

Before coming to the explanations let us see what the poll question was. What do you guys think will happen if/when Geet has the child?

So, as Jyo said there are two questions here:-
1. If Geet has the child
2. When Geet has the child

Now I would say there are many situations in "If" Geet has the child. I hope Geet team is not suppressing themselves under the demands of numerous immature and illogical fans that the baby should not survive. Now time and time again even I have been tired of explaining why the miscarriage or abortion cannot happen.

We have so far witnessed how a girl overcomes the trauma of an illegal marriage and shown the courage to stand up for the child against all odds that is not even out of love.

I just want to ask one simple question to those who have raised eyebrows about the significance of the baby to the Geet Team to answer one question – "What would they do if something like this had happened to them in real life?" ---- Would they stand up against all odds? Or would they abort the child? Or what would they do if they would fall in love during pregnant?" Well I guess you yourself don't know the answer. That is why you all can put forward such absurd demands to the production house and the creative team. Right?

A pregnant lady has every right to live their life on their own and on their own terms. Try to be practical here. She has stood up against all odds to give birth to this baby knowing the fact that the entire life this baby's face would remind her of the trauma that she faced at the age of 18. Just put yourself in her shoes and answer me did you ever think of this pain that she's willing to carry her entire life? When someone cheats us we feel like not to even see the face of that person our entire life….leave alone carrying a baby on our own??? Do you really realize the depth of the character of Geet? I bet ya, you don't. And let me be very crude here…You just don't realize the depth of her character. You all just come here to watch how Maan is caressing Geet and how they are doing their eye locks, dripping, falling, exercising et all. Just grow up. Now do you all realize why the "Baby" is the key to the storyline?

Let us see the points why the Baby is the key to the story line:-

1. The Baby is the proof of Geet's fake marriage with Dev
2. The Baby is the proof of Cold blooded rape done by Dev to Geet
3. The Baby is the proof of why Brij and family wanted to kill Geet
4. The Baby is the proof of why Geet hui sabse parayi
5. The Baby is the proof of why Heet was abandoned by her family
6. The Baby is the proof of Geet's determination and mental strength
7. The Baby is the proof of Geet's integrity, dignity, struggle for existence, independence
8. The Baby is the proof of Geet's constant walking away from Maan
9. The Baby is the reason why Maan will have immense respect for Geet
10. The Baby will be the reason for the strong bond between Maan and Geet after the truth will be out and Maan's support for Geet
11. The Baby is the heir of Khurana Family
12. The Baby will be the answer to the entire society that when a person commits "Cold Blooded Rape" that person will be sentenced.
13. The Baby also will be the answer to the whole society that "False Pretense" still exists in the society.
14. The Baby is the proof to the society that because of money there are people in the society who literally go down to a certain level to rip innocent people
15. The Baby will be the proof to the entire world that there are persons like NT, Dev, Brij, Darji etc.
16. The Baby will be the proof to the entire world that people changes their preferences when certain situations arises (e.g; If Dadima supports Dev even after knowing the truth about Geet and Maan supporting Geet)
17. The Baby will be the proof to the society that even an adopted father can raise an illicit child
18. The Baby will be the proof to the world that when two people are in love then nothing comes between them how ever complicated there past is.

So, I hope I have answered many as to why the "Baby is the Key to the whole Storyline".

Now even then also I have been seeing several innumerous posts on "Miscarriage" and Misunderstanding". Why the fans don't understand certain basic parameters on why Geet HSP was coming from??? Here I would say one thing if, if I see that Nissar and Co. show the "Miscarriage and Misunderstanding" by accepting these awful demands, then I will be out of this "Eagle Eye – Constructive Criticism" and stop that thread on my name. I have not invested all those precious times of mine to analyze day in and day out just to see this day.

Here now if the "Miscarriage" and "Misunderstanding" is not the issue then the big issue that Geet will face if she decides on keeping the child is from the society. I won't justify much on this point as it's already been done by all of you in last 12 pages. Undoubtedly Geet and Maan will have to face the crude reactions of the society here and I want them to face boldly to them and come out victorious.

All in my critical analysis I have been saying the same thing to Nissar that the phase of love needs to be taken slowly and steadily so that Maan would understand Geet and then only he can justify why Maan won't misunderstand Geet when the truth will be out in the open. And after seeing the track recently I have no ambiguity in my mind that Maan will never ever misunderstand Geet. Because, we know Maan is a very balanced and polished person. He thinks twice before even taking any action. He is a proactive person. Hence when the truth will be out I want to see Maan doing the self analysis and self clarification within him before even coming to a conclusion whether he really loves Geet and will always support her along with her baby. I want him to understand that what Geet has decided to do is an act of bravery and has shown a very huge mental strength. Just keep in mind she is not a girl from Delhi or Mumbai or any metro cosmopolitan city. She is not a convent educated girl rather she belongs from a small semi town where the residents never even pay any respect to a girl child leave alone a grown up girl. So, I want Maan to analyze all the incidents related to Geet from HP to Delhi, from Disco night to Fake engagement, from HP Shaadi to the goons everything and then accept Geet as his own; as his true companion. Then the CVs can justify there would not be any misunderstanding in the future. If he had truly loved Geet then he would accept her the way she is and not by changing her. All these while Geet HSP has been doing a wonderful job in building the faith, understanding and respect between the love birds so I have full faith in them that they would not show any misunderstanding between Maan and Geet.

Let us move to the situation of "When" Geet has the child??? Yup here lies the story. There are so many possibilities of what is going to happen when Geet will deliver the baby. In the last so many pages all have covered almost every aspect of the social stigma that will come in between.

Before getting into the social issue we need to look to Geet HSP is an Indian Tele Series. The only difference to this series than others I see is the realistic base of the story and its presentation. So far this series has maintained the essence of the theme. We all know that after couple of months anyhow the dots will be connected and then what??? Yes, Jyo is right as per the research goes the maximum number of the series faces the same issue…Now what??? They either shift to Kitchen Politics or leap or entry of other characters and numerous other illogical clich routes.

Now the crux here is when a Channel and the PH launch a series then their major purpose is to do business and alongside to deliver a message to the audience. We need to understand here almost 95% of the viewers watch entertainment just to entertain them and get a break from their daily routine and hardships. So, they will be in no mood to watch certain hardships on screen which they face daily. They watch serials to be refreshed and open their minds to dream for some moment. Isn't it??? Am I being pessimistic here??? But this is the real fact that the Channel and PH faces. It's not that they don't want to show the real struggle of the main protagonists but they are bound by certain realities; like the TRPS, the advertisements, the sponsorships, the constant requests from other PHs if the show is not doing well etc. Hence, keeping all these parameters in mind I would like to suggest certain situations that would be feasible for the PH and Channel to portray.

The PH and Channel can take up certain social obligation which is still a "Social Stigma" for most of the Indians.

1. Baby Custody:- This is one truth which is the base of the serial and I honor the makers of Geet for bringing up this social stigma in to picture. I want Maan and Geet to fight for the custody of the child against Dev and NT. I want Maan to raise this Child. I may be very crude here in calling the child as an illicit??? Why not??? The marriage was real for Geet but it was fake for Dev. When he knew that the marriage was fake then how come he even thought of making love to Geet??? To me this act of Dev was a "Cold Blooded Rape" and the child out of this is definitely illicit. Even after that horrendous act Dev purposefully left her at the airport and was celebrating after his plan was fulfilled. That is why I want to see how Maan and Geet fights this issue by raising an illicit child against the wishes of the society. I want to see how Maan becomes a good father in raising that baby as his and how they support each other in every aspect and overcome every obstacle and show the world that when two people are in love then nothing comes between them how ever complicated there past is.

2. Live-in relationships – Yes when a serial like Hasratein can deal with that ages back then why not now? I just wanna say if any need arises where Geet had to leave Khurana Mansion after the truth being out then I want Maan to be her mental strength and support Geet and walk out of the mansion and they can be each other's support. We can see their struggle to make a mark and create a position for themselves in the world. I have always been fond of doing something different and be an example and I want them to be an inspiration to all those who wants to have a Live-in relationships.

3. What I would not want is that in order show Maan struggle we don't need to see Maan to start from scratch. If need arises then to support Geet and the baby he will definitely walk out of the house but can run the company. We cannot forget that he has invested all his time to build a name for himself and he had earned a certain reputation to his name. So nobody not even Dev can snatch anything from him in the name of family's respect. As per all the research I have done till date about the Indian telel series I have seen that all tehse things were done in other serials where the male lead was thrown out or he sacrificed and he started from scratch where the female lead supported to the core. I am not convinced with these illogical tracks and don't want Geet HSP to carry forward this trend but still I will leave it to Nissar and the CVs and will say one thing that no Kitchen Politics here. Otherwise you all will be "Virtually Dead".

4. Education of an illicit pregnant woman:- I know our country, India, is much more developed than it was ages back. But certain places I feel still have those backward thinking of a pregnant woman just cannot continue with further studies. Leave alone that I have seen in educated families in metro cities when the lady delivers a baby she was indirectly brainwashed to quit her job just to look after the baby. This is ridiculous. If the lady herself wants then it ok but forcing indirectly??? Here, the society never points a finger to a pregnant lady who continues studies but imagine a lady pregnant with an illicit baby??? Will the society be more generous to her in continuing her studies??? I doubt. Hence I wanna see how the PH and Channel handle this issue. It would be nice if they portray both Maan and Geet to be so supportive for each other that they set up an example to the people of India that love and humanity is much more than anything else in the world. I want the PH and Channel to show that "Love can conquer anything in this world."

5. Girl Child:- Yeah I want the when Geet delivers then the Baby should be a "Girl". A girl is an equal member to the society. I want Maan and Geet to be the most proud parents of this Girl and I agree with Gouri that she should be named as "Pari" and the perfect gift to Maan by his "Parineeta Geet".

I hope I have answered almost all the questions that were raised here.
