@Dew ... yeh literature 😆 and i m now suffering from reading fatigue if there is something like that 😆 so need some trashy novels to pass the time 😆 in trashy novels .. my forte is Romance 😆

Literature ... hmmm ... have u read Jane Eyre? if YES than read Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys and if NO than still read it 😆... she was a Caribbean writer and she wrote it as a prequel to Jane Eyre .....she gave a story to Rochester's first wife Bertha 😉

two more ... Twilight in Delhi by Ahmed Ali 😊 loved it ... and another one if it is available in India .... Mohd Hanif's A Case of Exploding Mangoes 😊

Elizabeth Gaskell - a Victorian novelist - her novel North and South 👍🏼 i really liked it .... actually a BBC short series (about 4 hrs long) was made on it .... all the parts are available on Youtube ... i watched that first and than read the novel 😊 loved both 😊 Thornton 😍😆

I'll see if I can find these.. dunno whether I will read them or not..😊

@Dew ... Twilight in Delhi is set in Muslim family in Old City ... era is 1st decade of 20th century

Twilight 🤔 my friends and i have similar tastes .. they dont like the series to i have never tried either 😆
