There hv been lots of discussions going on about why Maan himself is not confessing about his feelings but instead trying to make Geet confess about it...Is it his Ego🤔 or a typical "Maan" style😎
Yesterday I had the same discussion with my father about why Maan is doing this(Well my dad is a huge fan of this show and Maan's character😆😳)....So surprisingly my dad came up with a wonderful explanation in Maan's defence and why he wants Geet to do the confession first..
Heres what my father told me in detail...sharing it with you all😳
According to him Maan is not a typical loverboy in his teens who needs to say ILU to a girl in the name of confession.,..neither Geet is a show about Teen boys and girls where ILU is only considered as confession...it may happen that Maneet may never say ILU to each other till the last minute but their actions itself will justify their intense and passionate love for each other😳..because the show is dealing with a intense matured romance between a man and a woman and not between a boy and a girl😳
Now heres a justification given by my father about Maan confessing his feelings to himself...according to him he already confessed his feelings for Geet not once but several times through his various actions which looked more perfect than those simple words like "I m in love with Geet" which would hv been sounding very cliched coming from a guy like Maan Singh Khurana😳
My Dad gave various instances where Maan confessed his feelings to himself..here r some of them...😳
1)Maan putting his priorities for Geet over his Business priorities:Which Business Tycoon will simply ask his client to remove his partner from the project if he wants the project to go ahead..Maan did it for Geet by asking Mr.Chopra to remove Rahul from the project after the saree incident😳...Then which business tycoon will simply cancel a 100crore deal just because the client was a bit rude to his employee...he could hv manipulated the situation for his own business benefits but instead Maan preferred to cancel the whole deal just because he cannot tolerate Geet's insult😳...I don't think Maan would hv done the same if Rasika had insultted Sasha mayb😉.😆..And after all this his self-confession comes in the form of "I cannot see any outsider insulting you"☺️...
2)Maan standing in support of Geet in front of everyone:In HP(Hoshiyarpur) he saved Geet out of humanity..but in Delhi just count the number of times Maan openly supported Geet in front of his office staff🤔...First was the Kurbaan hua moment where he shocked everyone by putting his coat on her😳..then next day Maan goes to her house to give her the motivation to fight against all odds😳..then after Geet quits her job,Maan in front of everyone admits that the project party was a success because of Geet😳...then of course in that Rasika Rathod case too,Maan stands up in Geet's support in front of entire office😳...And after all this his self-confession comes in the form of "Yeh ladki ne mujhe paagal kar hee diya" when he starts imagining Geet everywhere around him😉😛
3)Maan showing his authority on Geet:Do I need to say more here😆...just count the number of times Maan grabs her hand or her dupatta or pulls her towards him with full authority😉..I don't think he will deal with any other employee in same manner here😉😆😆...But with Geet its a different equation😳..he doesn't even hesitate using her dupatta to wipe off the ink from his face☺️...He almost commands Geet not to even think of quitting this job😳..and after all this his self-confession comes in the forum of "Why this girl always gives me dhamki of leaving the job"😭...This dialgoue proves that for the first time MSK is scared to let someone go away from his life😭
4)Maan's Divine realisation in the Dargah:We all know that this is the place from where Geet's realisation started😳..but this is also the place where Maan too admitted something very important..for the first time Maan saw those same feelings and emotions in Geet's eyes which he has been fighting till now😳...This was his self-realisation...and then his self-confession comes in the form of Maan telilng to himself that "What is this unknown bond which is always binding us together..why do I see the same feelings in your eyes today which I hv been fighting till now"😳
5)Maan stopping Geet from leaving the outhouse in the name of Dadima as an excuse:😉..Maan very well knows that Dadima is fine😳...He also wanted to get rid of Geet because he was afraid of his feelings coming out in the oepn...but after visiting the Dargah and getting some inner peace he is no more afraid to open the closed doors of his heart again😳...So no wonder he stops Geet from leaving the outhouse and this itself is another self-confession where he admits to himself that Geet's presence does affect him and he was not able to see her going away from him😳
6)Maan is no more scared of loosing himself to his feelings now:Earlier Maan was image conscious..he always had a grip over his personality and overall conduct..even today in front of his employees he is the same MSK😎..but in front of Geet..he is a complete changed man now..he doesn't mind Geet calling him those names like Dusht-Danav or even a Dus-sar-wala-Raavan because its coming from Geet😉😳..He is not getting irritated anymore over the fact that he is loosing himself in front of Geet😳..Inspead today he is enjoying her close proximity and those eye-locks...a sort of self-confession again comes here in the form of Maan admitting that "I m no more trying to suppress my feelings for her and this time I don't mind loosing...in fact for the first time I m happy to loose"..he says this when Geet was drying her hair in the garden😳...
7)Maan's reaction when Dadi says "She already talked to Geet about your marriage":😉The moment Dadi said this,Maan goes into his dreamland seeing Geet everywhere😍..Sometimes such type of actions speaks louder than the so called confessions😉..and when Dadi tells Maan that she asked Geet to select a girl for him,Maan's self-confession comes again when he blurts out from his own mouth "What about Geet then??"😉..
8)Maan Singh Khurana is scared of loosing Geet forever:This was clear when Geet starts questioning him about where was he whole night..blablabla😆 and Maan's direct self-confession comes here in the form of his dialogue where he says that "I left for one night and so many questions..but what about u..u decided to go away from me forever..why ?"😉😳..
9)Maan teasing Geet about his dreamgirl:R u kidding me😲...Sinse when did Maan Singh Khurana started liking female species ??😕😆..and today he is giving description of his dreamgirl to Geet as if he is so interested in getting married here😉..well the answer is simple...he is enjoying teasing Geet here..he is deliberately try to frustate her and check if she is feeling jealous or not😉😳...and when does a Man do all this ??obviously when he is sure of his own feelings and wants a confirmation from the girl which can come out easily in the form of jealousy😛...Again we see a self-confession coming here in the form of Maan admitting that "he can go to any extremes to find out whether Geet feels the same way or not"😉..why Maan wants to find out about Geet's feelings...its because he is now confident of his own feelings but before taking it a step further he wants the same confirmation from the girl😳
10)Maan is ready to change his likings for Geet now:He hated rose ..right ??..but now he wants to present the same rose to Geet😲😲...Is it not a sort of self-confession here😳..He wanted to see a smile on her face..and so wanted to present that rose somehow😳
Lastly Why Maan wants Confirmation from Geet first:
Maan doesn't want Geet to confess first..thats a wrong notion which we all r developing here😆..Maan only wants a confirmation from Geet that she too feels the same way😳...and even here its not Maan's ego but a sort of indirect confession from Maan where he wants to find out whether the girl he loves too loves him back or not as he cannot go through the same heart-break for the second time in his life...Here Maan is confused because on one one hand Geet is getting passionately involved with Maan in those eye-locks..she is enjoying his touch too😳..but on the other hand she wants to quit the job and has no problem in finding a girl for Maan...so after getting these confused signals from her,is it wrong on Maan's part to demand some sort of confirmation from Geet by hook or by crook so that later its easy for him to confess his feelings directly to her ??😛..The new promo again shows Maan's self-confession here where he directly asks Geet whether it makes a difference to her whenever he comes close to her and she says No but Maan tells to himself that he will make Geet say yes here...this is the sort of confirmation Maan wants here..if Geet says yes it makes a difference,Maan will waste no time in donig the final confession there and then only..but he is waiting for that one confirmation from Geet before saying those 3 magical words😳
So through these above points my father actually explained me the number of times Maan confessed to himself that Geet is the girl for him😳...u always don't need to use the word "Love" to define your feelings for someone...sometimes even through your actions and emotions the same word can b defined in a more genuine and realistic way and so when it comes to MSK,u don't expect him to take the same cliched route that every lead hero is taking in a show to confess his love..its MSK after all..so his way of confession too will b a different one😎😳
And well after hearing this explanation from my dad..I guess I was more than convinced today morning😆😳
