I think young minds like us always visualise love in a different way😉😆...mayb its the cinema influence..we always think that being in love means admitting it by saying "ILU" either to the girl or at least confessing to oneself😆...thats where CVs r trying to break the so call myths that we hv about love 😳..they r trying to explore many other aspects of being in love...and trying to show that its not just about saying "ILU" or singing songs and running behind trees😆...Maneet love story is actually breaking those barriers and myths that we hv about love till now😳..they r trying to show a very intence,passionate and matured type of romance here and not those candyfloss types where only one ILU does the trick😆

Totally agree with your Dad on his views about Maan and his character. Thanks Jyoti for writing in such detail about each & every incident where Maan just showed how much he loves & cares for Geet. Actions speaking Lounder than words here.

even i was thinking of some points , well not in such depth. But yes, after the rasika rathod incident, when maan clearly said, "no outsider can insult you and i';m letting it happen", the confession was right there. he said, he cannot tolerate "an outsider" insult her, so he certainly considers her, a part of his family or someone special to him.

then, the night after he disappeared, the way he questioned her, "tum tuo mujhe hamesha ke liye chod ke jaa rahi thi, uska kya?" , so he did not want her to leave..!!! he wanted her to stay with him. he confessed yet again. he did not like parting from her. and he did not want her to think of leaving him.

then yesterday, "tum hamesha meujhe chod ke" and stopped. geet understood what he meant, he too knew, she understood it. but to save the situation, he changed the sentence. what greater confession does he need to make??? if he did not love her, how on the planet would he go so close to her??? he removed the jewelery as though he owned her and had every right on her. he could have just helped with the ear ring and stopped but no, he removed every single piece of jewelery she was wearing. and did not stop there, he wanted to know, why she cannot look into his eyes and talk?

all this certainly proves he confessed a lot of times. now, her proximity does not disturb him. he's not running away from her. he knows there's no point. the struggle between his mind and heart is over and he has finally given into the feelings of his heart...!!!!

like u said, all he needs is a yes from her. she need not confess the whole i love you to him. all he wants to know, if she too has gone thru the same phase as he has. well, i guess u've explained, rather ur dad has explained it better....!!!!!

once he knows, she too feels the same, he will confess right then and there and go running to his daadima to tell her that he's getting married. but as long as he does not get that confirmation, he'll keep pushing her to an extent that she either confesses that she likes him or confesses her past...!!!

we'll have to see which way it goes...!!!! 😛

Mansi the same doubts were there in my mind as well😆...I wanted to clear it out...blame it on my own serial experience😆 ..watching those cliched daily soaps regularly where a guy after falling in love becomes a love sick puppy going after the girl shouting "ILU" and mayb we were expecting Maan to do the same😆..but he is a man of few words who doesn't really believe in this concept of ILU at all😆...for him love is a lifelong commitment where understanding and trustfactor is a must..so here a confirmation coming from Geet is very important for Maan to know where exactly he wants to take this relationship further😳...now u need to call my father and thank him personally ..I did this for u and u know that😉😆

Maan wants Geet to confess what he sees in her eyes. Maan has an inclination about Geet's feelings. I would not call this Maan's ego. Once bitten, twice shy - guess this applies to Maan. He is not a person who would wear his heart on his sleeve only to be trampled upon. Its only in the last few days has he seen a difference in Geet's behavior towards him. He wants to confirm what his heart sees. Maan wants everything perfect and the only thing that maybe scares him is rejection. So I guess his way of thinking is justified. I am also thinking that this is the way Maan would get to know the truth from Geet - for now she will be compelled to reveal her past to him. We all know how persuasive Maan can be. A nice foundation for Maan getting to know the truth about her past than her just blurting it out of the blue.

Exactly Ash..Maan knows that something is bothering Geet ..the reason why she wants to suppress her feelings right now...we can see Maan repeatedly telling her "look into my eyes and talk"😉...so indirectly he is trying to tell her that speak out whatever is there in your heart even if its related to your past😳...Maan cannot ask her directly about her past..he tried doing that once but saw how it was painful for Geet to narrate out her past and so now he is using this reverse psychology on her😳...so this also clears one more doubt about why Maan is not interested in knowing Geet's past😉..
