Many r questioning about Maan's behaviour..all I can say is typical male ego😆..until and unless he finds out or gets any sort of confirmation coming from Geet that she too feels the same way like him,he is not going to confess😉...thats why he is thinking of all sort of weird ideas to get some facts out of Geet's mouth..it need not b Geet's confession but at least some words from her mouth like she too feels strongly about him😳

Thats fine and all but he hasn't even said something to himself about how he feels. Obviously we can tell by his lines and his behavior towards her but at least Geet had her revelation and talked about him being in her heart. He is just all relaxed!!

The Rose scene also proves that the guy is scared of rejection and being ridiculed when he thinks she will blast him for giving her the rose and imagines his whole office staff laughing at him! Ahem! Lingering shadows from the past? May be!

But seriously I think it is typical of such a successful man that he would want to confirm his suspicions before he proceeds full scale making a fool of himself in love. Who knows if this has something to do with history not repeating itself or if it is a case of such a supremely arrogant man not being able to take rejection and fearing it because at some complex level he feels he is not worthy of being loved and all his ego is to hide his insecurity.

The veil on the insecurity is the ego and the only thing that can puncture that ego is the truth. So he is searching for truth and is afraid if his mind will fail him in finding out the truth. He wants to trust in his instincts on the one hand while on the other he fears that he may be wrong.

It is this human conflict of the mind over matter that is interesting in Maan's character. I would do the same if I were in his footsteps.

He is trying to be as rationale and as logical in drawing his conclusions and finding proofs to sustain or reject them.

Lovely post jyoti... Even i second the typical Male ego😆 being the culprit, so he will not confess himself until and unless he gets a confirmation from Geet that she too feels the same way for him😉..
Maan doesn't want Geet to confess here..He just wants to know if Geet too feels the same way or not😳... I also have another reason for maan wanting to conformation regarding geets feelings coz MSK has a HUGE EGO, n i feel sameera had hurt his EGO, by refusing him... So MSK was or even now has been nursing a Broken/Hurt ego not a broken heart...

Regarding sameera all i say that maan was never in love with her... I think sami n maan were coll friends or family friends... Either maan for purely commercial reasons decided to marry her or dadi fixed them up..
His charac n behaviour as i have explained above were due to his troubled childhood... He was never attached to sameera... Sameera would have aggreed coz he is handsome, rich n successful along with family pressure..But very soon realized that she is entering an alliance where love will never blossom.. She was entering a loveless marriage n this troubled her a lot... Or else In the mean while she might have meet her lover n fallen for him.. So on the d-day (engagement day) she decided to give it a run...Dev (NT can also be involved) in the mean while would have stolen some money n put the blame on Sami.. Sami just to break the alliance would latter have admitted of the crime...
All the anjana ehsas n the confusion from maans end only teels that he is in love for the first time.. Wat sami did to him was hurt his EGO.. She ran away or rejected him coz of his behaviour.. But he thinks very highly of himself so it hurt his EGO big time...
Till now he had been nursing a shattered ego n not a broken heart..So now he wants to confirm b4 taking any further action..
