I know that u must have forgotten lot about this classic so i am just giving a brief stech before comparing. What made me do this comparison is thej fact that Sameera is a positive character not a negative one...

Captain is a rude and arrogant person who lives by his rules and expects everybody else to follow them(so very like maan) he carefullyPLANS to get married to a beautiful Baroness, thinking that it is a very practical decision, no feelings other than mere courtsey involved. Maria comes to live with them and without realising Maria and Captain fall in love. Baroness notices that and leaves, but not before telling both of them that they love each other.
Our Maan S Thurana was rude and bitter from the start even before he met sameera and meeting Sameera too didn't help him either, he was still rudeNO-ONE-TOUCHES-MY-HEART.types...
maybe then for extemely PRACTICAL reasons Maan Thurana too Planned his marriage without love and Sameera after knowing that Maan doesn't really love her thought that one day when maan really finds someone who he will love then.💔💔💔💔💔💔💔.
Since Maan's heart was not involved she decided to leave him😭 for his own sake...had she been selfish and negative she wud have married him there and then..(ans to --why sameera is so positive? )..That completely ruined Mr maan Thurana's plans and hurt his ego badly..😡
SO IT WAS A BRUISED EGO MAAN HAS BEEN NURSING ALL THE TIME NOT A BROKEN HEART..
now maan is feeling real love for geet..
