Okay, call me mad, crazy or whatever you can think of, but ever since i have read that TB article, i have been racking by brains with all possible ideas (read desperate ones) to justify how : this new girl can be
a) positive
b) have broken Maan's heart so bad
c) and yet shall not come in the way of the Maaneet story..
and after alot of thinking, these are the possibilities i have worked out ...
1. Maan and she had been best friends-no love involved and he had trusted her so much that he allowed her to manage all his business and stuff like that-one fine day she just walked away cos she knew it was for the best of the company and Maan as he was turning into a business freak-she wanted him to become a little more emotional and learn to respect human beings-which boils down to the point that maan has always been like this and it was actually sameera who was in love with him and her walking away had taken away a friend in maan's life who he had trusted as, he had grown up in the absence of parental love. so though not a relationship, he felt cheated in his friendship.
possibility: this is least likely, cos of the things that dadi had said about Sameera!
this works out fine for us, cos we all somewhere may be want Geet to be the first woman Maan ever loved, it also justifies him not being able to fathom his feelings for the lady!!
2. Maan and sam's story told in a flashback mode-where, as and when maan and geet come close to one another-each of the incident that happens in maan's life is a repeat of what had happened in the past- and Maan gets even more hassled and tries to keep Geet away for those very reasons- so while these things happen, we are still with the current story, but we also get to see the flashback of what had happened-and why maan became the way he did-then comes the ultimate day-when, maan wants to make sure Geet really loves him or no, cos the last time, it was at this point that Sam had walked out of his life-Geet impresses Maan-confession happens, but once that is done, we come to know, Sameera also wanted to do the same thing, but she was sent away by NT making her believe something else, and until the time she returned, she had no idea why maan had not contacted her.
possibility: well, it would be interesting to watch something like this on a TV show, forward-flashback mode-rock on style! and there are chances this could happen.
everyone here is happy, but we will have to deal with angsty maan and geets pain as he keeps her away from him!
3. A very practical today type story, where both of them were in a serious relationship and then they drifted apart and it was given a picture that she walked away- may be back then, he didnt have all that money-and she walked away with a man with more money-or he thoight she did, but she actually didnt-Maan comes to know about this-but he doesnt feel connected to her- Sam realises Geet is close to maan and asks her to unite them-Geet is torn between her feelings and helping out Maan-Maan on his part doesnt feel connected to sam anymore as he has been really hurt and he is mad at geet for taking another person's side.
possiblity: i think this will happen knowing star one shows where no one is really bad, it is all situation and circumstance based.
whatever it is.. we have anxious days ahead of us...! and this will really be a testing time for both maan and geet.. and their love for one another! in a way its good.. it will further cement their relationship!
