I agree so much with you...her expressions were priceless...she experienced unexpected emotions and feelings for Maan...she is still struggling to understand this new feeling......Drashti is superb!

She is just encountering these feelings...the first blush sort of...and she is confused...she has so much additional baggage.

She underplayed her role to perfection. In fact I think Maan did not express as well as Geet did today. The relief, the tension, the confusion, the joy, the pain, the longing ~ how serenely and subtly she expressed.

Problem is people who are exposed to overacting and overblown gestures cannot understand subtlety and sensitive portrayals. She was subtle, sensitive and so in the character. There was not a single expression that was wasted or out of sync, she was just perfect, in fact more than perfect. She was absolutely natural and not at all acting as such.

well.. she acted really well today.. the scene where she almost realises and smiles to herself and Maan notices it.... i totally loved her expressions...

and also when maan feels, he has sensed the same confusion in Geets eyes that he has had in him! priceless

I agree drashti is not given much credit...

I think maan delivers well in romantic scenes and drashti is the comic queen....

But drashti outshined maan completely in dargah wala episode...and even did a fab job in kurbaan sequence...she is a talented actress...one of the best we have nowadays on indian television...

I think she has great potential...she has great comic timing...and is equally good on intense scenes...I loved her acting on the airport sequence when dev left her...it was so touching that even i felt helpless along with her.......

Go girl....u rock....

I completely agree. I also watch the show only for her (and of course Maaneet) I've loved her since she was in DMG, and one thing which I always like to point out is how pretty she is. I think she definitely has one of the nicer faces on TV, and to complement that, she is a marvellous actress with flawless comic timing! And seeing as this is her second show, I think she's doing a fantastic job! Especially as she has been paired opposite a much more experienced actor, but she still manages to act almost as good as him. Kudos to her.

It's actually quite scary that I just saw this post, because I was just about to post pretty much the same thing, give or take a few words here and there. Hehe.

True, she is the real reason why i started watching the show. She has got this innocense in her looks and expressions that makes you wanna take care of her. And that's what happened to MSK. He just cant avoid helping her. DD's doing a terrific job in potraying geet's character. I cant think of anyone who could play this role any better. She's really the one who is making us glued to the show because the show is all about her life and we all want her so much to be happy. Although I've mentioned it earlier but i again wanna say that her relationship with her dad created such an impact on me that when she moved to delhi i felt like keeping an eye on her for her papaji. She was able to make me feel that way in a "show". Hats off to DD. Really love her acting to the core. Thank you DD for being the most adorable female personality of the small screen.
