honestly i tried to understand where your coming from but from my solid beliefs i am never able to think of woman abuse justifiable

I don't support the way Maan behaved with Geet in the episode, but Geet sort of pushed his buttons and he blew up in the heat of the moment. Today's episode just made me think that whatever harsh and aggressive behaviour Maan displayed was just a defense mechanism for him. Maan is most probably still nursing his wounded heart, and it looks like he will even become aggressive to protect his heart from being stabbed at again.

Geet taking advantage of Maan's sympathy was just a minor thing...but it opened up old wounds of Maan's past, and Maan just lost control for a few moments.

I understand the reasons behind Maan's harsh behaviour today, but obviously it wasn't the decent way to behave. Maan is not by any means a 'perfect' character, even he has flaws...but he is a sensible man. I am sure he will realize that he shouldn't have said all those things to Geet, and behave so aggressively with her.

if you have been in love with someone, then they betray you.. take your money and walk away what would you do? that was Maan.. he was in love with someone who betrayed him then took his money and left.. and what he did was, hide his pain and sadness in a black corner inside him and act tough.. who knows how long he has been acting tough before Geet came to his life and made him realize what he really is missing which is life itself..

yes, he was being a jerk holding her arm like that.. but try to understand where he is coming from.. he does not support "violence" because once he told Geet that he doesnt raise his hand over the weak.. which to him Geet is.. but when Geet in yesterdays eps USED HIM to get what she wants and actually SMILED at it, he went mental.. anyone in his position would go crazy seeing that for how long hes been TOUGH, this girl just simply USED him AGAIN! so what does he do? should he really go to her and say "why are you smiling?" or "Geet you are bad" no.. he'd do anything to let his pain out.. and that was the moment when he shouted his pain out! and when Geet was about to slap him, he held her hand roughly because to him, there is no way a girl would raise his hand at him..

just remember that eps when Geet went to him at night and he accused her of the same thing, she raised her hand but he didnt do anything why? at that time he was too letting his anger out but it wasnt Geet's fault.. this time, TO MAAN, it was her fault.. because to him she was using him! and he had to stop her!

i dont see any "violence" promotion here at all! people should think beyond the scene.. its not ok to use violence against women, and i am against it big time.. but in Maan's situation, it was totally understandable!
