An unpopular opinion, but Geet was in the wrong - Page 2

Did ya guys feel tht?...I thought I was the only one thinking in tht way:my sis would'v told me you're being soo mean and insensitive.😆

But,anyways.I think Geet was being abit too much since the last 2-3 epis.I got highly irritated:think of the poor guy.And the way,she actually used his sympathy was wrong:I would never support such kind of behaviour.She was wrong.She wanted to make him feel guilty-tht was ok.But then,smiling to yourself all-way abt tht,any1 watching tht for the first tym would think of Geet as the wrong one.👎🏼

Yes wat ever u said was completely right... N i was thinking that my Maan Obsession is makin me think like that...
No doubt Geet has been acting very very irritating from past 2-3 days.. I understand her desperation to stay in the outhouse but it could have been done in a better way...
Yes both Geet n Maan have their share of flaws it makes them real n adorable too... Just love them, a little bit more love for Maan :).
Coming to Geet's behaviour, I too feel that she went too far this time, consciously using Maan's sympathy for her gains (In her innocence she doesn't really realise the impact of her words/actions).
that cunning smile of victory did Maan in and he lost his balance. His past experience with Sameera only sort to reinforce that feeling and we have always seen Maan acts before he thinks.
Geet's behaviour was wrong,and so was Maan's atttitude, Geet manages to evoke the best and the worst in him.
Ppl r saying that she should have immediately but i think she stayed back ALSO bcoz of the fact that she's not completely clueless to know that there's more to his reaction than meets the eye, At least am hoping, maybe thats y she din't leave after his outburst...

Regarding Geet clutching Maan's shirt i doubt it was due to geet's desire to be close to Maan...
Maan twisted her arm n held her tightly with a very angry (n sexy look. for MSK angre n sexy go hand in hand) look, her only was to retaliate Maan was holding his shirt, i was like ppl hold the guys collar when angry... Geet was defo hurt n angry, i was her way of showing angre on him..

so, this is likely to be an unpopular opinion, and I'd like to preface my statement by saying that I am ABSOLUTELY again violence against women, and after the first hand-twisting episode, I posted in many places including the Geet FB saying that Maan should never manhandle Geet, EVER

However, I do feel that in this instance, Geet was in the wrong and actually what Maan SAID (not what he did-- the physical intimidation was still wrong)-- what Maan said was actually CORRECT-- in that moment, Geet WAS trying to "hamdardi ka faida uthao".

She actually comes across as the typical calculating female-- realising that Maan cannot bear her pain, she makes a conscious decision to make use of that and get him on her side to let her stay in the house.

It's not an unreasonable thing to do, but I have to admit that it was calculating-- perhaps Geet is truly so innocent that she didn't realise how it might seem from the outside........but just imagine how it were to look if we didn't know them. There's the girl, just having made the man feel guilty, and then standing and smiling to herself.............OF COURSE he goes ballistic.

Now obvously, he went over the top, with the physicality of it all, but to be fair-- his words were not unexpected not were they necessarily wrong.

We've all been saying it-- she has come across slightly desperate to stay in THAT HOUSE with HIM-- he has to think to himself-- WHY?? and when you put in this past experience with Sameera (whoever she is, mother or ex-GF), and the fact that he hates Naintara, probably for a similar reason, (and if I were to really speculate, who knows why Vicky went missing, was Sameera involved, or is there another woman involved there??)-- well Geet was just aiming for a fall.

She's not perfect, is our Geet, and thats refreshing, and reassuring-- I'm sick of Tulsi and Parvati and Bandini- it's nice to see a girl who has some flaws.

Let me reiterate-- I in IN NO WAY condone and violence, and I do think that Maan went OTT.

One question for the forum-- why did Geet grasp Maan's shirt, when he had pulled her soooooo close-- the director made a real point of showing her hand FISTING into his shirt-- like she wanted to get even closer.......whats going on there???????

i don't think geet was very much at fault here. she was just being kiddish. it's like you have a lollipop and trick someone in getting you another one 😆but maan's reaction really very blew me off. if he shouted at her, i woouldn't have mind but the way he gt violent and physical really pulled the last string. and i can't believe geet took all of thiis and didn't say anything to maan! it's about seelff respect and the way maan treated her, that was humiliating, harassing and very degrading 😒
